Truly incredible food and Amazing service. Our server who was working the evening of july 21st was incredible. Very polite and sociable and helpful. She made every effort to make our meal as pleasent as possible and truly went above and beyond. The food was truly delicious and unlike anything ive ever had before. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fries were tasty and correctly cooked. My only critisim is that the bathrooms arent very nice. Theres only space for one person at a time and the fixtures and fittings appear very used. I intend to return here everytime im in Swindon

Very happy with our visit here. Taking our server's advice we had mash with the Tochitura and it was wonderful. Soft, slow cooked pork and sausage in a tasty sauce topped with a poached egg. Pork schnitzel was also plentiful and satisfying. Well worth trying something different in Swindon. Plan to return soon.

I was staying just across the way and enjoyed the menu options. The person who helped us was so kind and made great food recommendations. She was not only friendly she was knowledgeable. The restaurant has authentic Romanian decor and great vibes.

Had a really bad day at work and an awful night's sleep. My train home got delayed so I came here by chance. The food was really bloody good and the staff were really friendly! Honestly made my day. I would reccomend highly. ❤️

In Swindon for work, looking for diner after the days over. Saw johnnys on google & looked good, wandered 7 minutes from the hotel. Served some delicious mici & crepes to follow. With friendly service, I’ll be coming back when next in town. Thank you.

A hidden gem with warm, friendly staff and delicious, well presented Romanian food, as well as a few more mainstream choices like english breakfast and burgers. They catered for our wedding and did an amazing job, and we go there often for lunch and dinner. Photo was today's lunch!

Absolutely delicious food - I was at a wedding of a dear friend’s, for whom Johnny’s Grill catered for, and the food that was served was fantastic. We received a selection of different authentic dishes for our starters and the salmon main was exquisite. Would definitely recommend!

A little gem of a cafe in the bottom of town that is a cut above the rest. Great tasty food, with generous portions, and amazing coffee.

A hidden gem of a place, well worth seeking out. Authentic, generous and tasty Romanian cuisine, with succulent meats especially the mici and mixed grill. All very well cooked and presented. Super service and a warm welcome. Very good value for money, and something for everyone.

It's my first time eating in a Romanian restaurant and trying the traditional Romanian food. Everything was so good especially the sarmale and the papanasi. But the best thing about this place was the service. Everyone who works in the restaurant were so nice and accomodationg. I will definitely go back. Totally recommended restaurant to try in Swindon. 👍

In Swindon for business and we decided to try something else than the hotel restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly owner who gave us traditional Romanian strong liquor from the house. The food was tasteful and delivery was fast. The desserts were something to remember. Would definitely recommend.

Although it’s my first time to try Romanian food, this is really a positive experience. The hospitality of the chef(also business owner) make us feel like being at home. Will definitely come back again.

This is a little gem in Swindon, amazing home made food at very reasonable price. Portions are very generous and the tastes are wonderful, real authentic home made food. You cannot leave without also trying the Papanasi desert. The service we received was excellent and we will definitely go back when in the area.

We had an amazing authentic Romanian dinner with great wine, traditional food cooked by a passionate chef as well as a lovely inviting atmosphere. I can’t recommend this local place enough for those looking for affordable, home made and tasty dining experience!

Johnny's Grill is a small run business, on the corner intersecting two streets. Very homely. There is a pay for car park, a short distance away from the Grill. Everything is freshly prepared, using only good quality ingredients. There is a selection of drinks to suit most people's tastes. The toilet is basic, but acceptable, given its size and location. On the whole, well worth a visit, if you are in the area.

The food here was very nice and my Romanian wife enjoyed it and approved it to be authentic Romanian.. We ordered chicken Snitzel (£8.90)and Tochitura (£12.90)

What can I say Saturday night and a full breakfast delivered it was faultless, the second meal of spare ribs were excellent, really good quality and perfectly cooked all at a reasonable price, delivered promptly, just a thought how about an option for fried bread and just to point out I think you may have put the wrong sauce in the ribs, despite that still excellent overall

Really great cafe for eating in and home delivery. The homemade burgers are to die for. Made to order by the chef. Service is top notch too. And a great location right near the station. They also do catering for parties. 100% would recommend

Very disappointed to say the least, thought we would give them a go as so many people said how good they were. The experience we had wasn't good at all. We ordered the chicken and chips. The portion size was really small, infact our granddaughter would eat more. I was expecting a chicken breast with skin and not flat. The chicken was so dry and chips weren't cooked properly ie some hard. Then to top it off they charge 5 for delivery.
