Surprisingly good was really nice, note if there’s a telephone orders they will not take Chinese orders of the counter

Staff couldn’t speak English. Food come out the curry was awful, freezing cold & chips were burnt.

Love this chippy. Great duck and pancakes. Brilliant mixed fried rice. Only eat the few things I like so can’t comment on other things but the curry is brilliant too.

Decent Chinese and prices but order ahead otherwise you can be waiting a while

As a fishmonger I'm sometimes quite critical of the quality of the fish served in a chippy. The Fish I got was Absolutely Spot on. Cooked to perfection with the right amount of lovely crispy batter. And the fish itself was fresh, meaty and full of flavour! Already been back since original visit and the second meal was consistent with the first. Perfectly cooked and fresh. Chips are good too!

I can agree with Harrison Cartwright the service was shocking and missing items they where adiment they had given me shocking place to eat id like to see the hygiene rating of this shittip

We order a cow main and chip and pudding as well as some sweet and sower chicken and when we got home we realised that the sweet and sour was missing and when we went back to get the sweet and sour we were told that she was a adiment that she put it in the bag and we’re not allies another without paying Absolutely ridiculous attitude do not recomend

It was my first visit to this takeaway because it is a bit far away from where I live, but I was passing and didn't want to cook. I had roast duck char sui and fried rice, it was delicious and a good portion too. I will definatly be making the journey to re visit.

Great food but lady in counter needs to cheer up may be just doesn't like me

Although its a Chinese takeaway, their chips are very nice. They use potatoes too not frozen chips.

Food was lovely shame that same can't be said for the lady working there who was rude and sarcastic to my daughter.

Not a huge fan of the place as a Chinese (run of the mill Chinese cuisine), however the English dishes are top draw, best fish and chips I've ever had from a Chinese and better than 90% of dedicated chippies I've been to..

I like this place because you can order traditional fish and chips alongside traditional chinese dishes. The food quality is good - all is cooked as required / ordered.

Very very rude! 1 person in the shop walked in and after 5 minutes greeted with.. “Yaaa?” Starting my order with spring rolls and cuts me off saying be 30/40 minutes... sorry All I have asked for up to now is spring rolls. Walked out and will never go back!

Very rude owner, no please or thank you. The curry sauce went straight down the sink absolutely discussing and runny. Wont be going here again. Try Fey Wong much better.

Love the chips, portions could be a little be larger. The other meals are excellent though and decent sized.

Best Chinese Takeaway in the area. Great food, good sized portions and very reasonable prices. The shop is also very clean and run by lovely people. 10 out of 10 *****

Just been in, hot day and I was very dehydrated. Was told it would take 10 mins for my fish, no problem. Asked for a glass of tap water while I wait and not only was the request refused but the woman serving was horribly rude with it. Better food just down the road, 10p cheaper and bags better service. Awful place.

Hidden Gem.great price for amazing food. Do not deliver but I can see why as obviously they don't need to. First time but not my last.
