Best brekkie in south Brum! If you get there before 10.30 you get money off. Food is always hot and fresh and the staff are very friendly.

This place is amazing, The food is incredible – every dish is bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff is exceptional – friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to ensure a great experience. I can't recommend this place enough! Looking forward to my next visit

Been couple of times find waiting time is way too long , staff miserable , waited 20 mins for pancake, then 5 mins after a milkshake , then 5 mins for coffee and after half hour no teacake … i complained and got no apology or offer of anything for inconvenience. Definitely never going again!!

I have visited Maya's cafe on several occasions ordering a Full English. The breakfast is well worth the price, also coffee is half price when ordering a Full English. The breakfast was cooked well, very hearty and delivered in a good time. I am a little fussy and don't like tomatoes or beans, I was pleasantly surprised that I could have substitutes such as extra sausage and mushrooms to compensate. This is not always the case with others, it gives a good impression of customer service. The staff were polite and helpful, the kitchen is open plan so as to speak and looks clean and well maintained. I will visit again and would gladly recommend this cafe to Friends and family.

Food arrived on time, hot and tasted freshly made. Hot drinks were still hot. Great value for money. .’, Driver who delivered food (was in a BMW I think) was friendly. Helpful especially when I almost dropped my hot drinks I will most definitely be ordering again. Jb

Mixed Grill set for £9.3 only. full enough for 2 people! Meat is good but a little bit salty for me. Steak is not recommended because it is not considered worth the value. Coffee is Ok!

This establishment is at the back of Northfield market and you wouldn’t even know it was there. Great tasty food at very reasonable prices I would highly recommend this place. Also there is a very wide selection on the menu to cater for everyone. The dessert menu is also extensive if you fancy a treat after your food. Also the staff are very helpful and friendly which adds a nice touch.Highly recommended

the food was hot and tasty. it would of been better if i had recieved all my ordre. no beans or tomatoes or bread on any of the breakfasts. i did call the shop to let them know and was offered some to be sent out but we had eaten it by this time. i do have to say, the attitude of whoever i spoke to on the phone could do with improving.

This is a wonderful place to have a break. From a drink to a carvery meal. A very varied menu. The portions are generous and freshly cooked and the price is very realistic. I feel as though I have been in a five star eating place even though I am in a local indoor market place. A very enjoyable experience

Very cosy understated cafe at the back of the indoor markets. They've just been awarded (May 2023) Best Cafe in Birmingham, which I didn't know about when I joined the queue. I had a Peach iced tea (£1.75, syrup and water) and menu item 53 (three sausages, mash, veg and gravy: £7.10). Food was delicious. If I had to nitpick, the veg was a little soft but tbh that's what I was expecting and is probably for a lot of people's tastes anyway. The sausages were really nice: plain but juicy. The star of the plate though was the parsnips that were quite sweet and tasted spiced. There's a nice selection of cakes, a hearty looking carvery and just generally a good, varied menu of classic British food. If you want somewhere simple, tasty, friendly and good value definitely pop in. I will absolutely come back.

I am speechless. I always use to order from this place but I definitely will not be ordering anymore. I made an order, paid for it and then they delivered it to somebody else. They didn't even apologise and said I could have a refund via justeat but I have been refused one. This was a monthly treat for me and my daughter and now I am nearly £20 down so thank you!! When someone has prepaid for food, you should at least ask the person retrieving the order for the name on the order. Now this person has my address, my name, my telephone number and my food. I will not be coming back to this restaurant again. Awful service

Been going here for a year or so after a recommendation. Excellent varied menu of well cooked, simple wholesome food, nicely presented, well priced, and generous in portions. The staff are super nice and I find nothing to fault. Highly recommended.

The food is absolutely beautiful and the service is brilliant

This is the second time in a row that the food has tasted like a Brillo pad. First time I put it down to a one off as food is usually great. I don’t know what you are using but the packaging and food smell and tastes like a chemical. Even picking the sandwich up made my fingers smell. It’s really off putting, couldn’t even eat the food as it was like a big Brillo.

Perfect as usual confused about ordering Belgium chocolate shortbread to receive millionaire shortbread. As not a fan of caramel other than that food was amazing

Food turned up a little later than expected, and the wrong order. I ordered a bacon bagel, but received a bacon roll, no complaints about this at all as the food arrived fresh & hot. Would definitely order again :)

Not a great experience like normal if I’m honest. Food was late when it arrived I’m missing a hot drink, the bread and butter was hard/stale on the outside as it had been in with hot food & I had to re heat my food because it was cold. Not sure what happened today usually amazing.

Food was decent but small things let it down a touch. Bread for the sandwiches was not great, very thin and would have expected it to have 3 pieces based on the order. The chips are too chunky for us, which is preference but no alternative Panini was actually a mildly toasted baguette- it was ok Delivery time was ages Coleslaw and side salad was tasty though Will order again but maybe add notes and certain extras
