Probably worse pizza I've ever had . Bland watery base and dried out meat and toppings . Chips had been cooked several times and disgusting. What a shame

Food cold. Chicken Tikka on Naan was poor. Chicken tasted weird, and the the naan was under cooked.

As always, the food is fantastic. Just had a Mixed Chicken and Donner Kebab and it was fantastic. So tasty. Max's very rarely ever let me down, with a near 100 percent satisfaction rating. Keep on doing what you are doing, as the food is great. Regards. Steve

My go to takeaway for a big scran. I absolutely love the donner and pizza’s from here, the yoghurt sauce compliments the food really well. And always tastes fresh and hot.

If you want the worlds smallest microwaved donner that's classed as medium and large then go here, cause that's what you'll get plus free food poisoning if your lucky lol

Cannot complain about the service of the place and the people. Only issue is that the quality of the food is absolute "bin juice". If youve had 8 pints and youre hungry, its not too bad as its massed, sloppy, greasy food. The cuts of meat are very poor and often cooked even worse. Ive eaten here a good handful of times and can honestly say i would not recommend at all.

really disappointed, the order took 1hour and 45 minutes to come and by that time we just wanted to go to sleep and didn't even want it, then when we rang the phone after 1 and a half hour of waiting somebody answered after 3 calls and said they were closed! After explaining we were still waiting on our order he said it would be another 5 minutes yet took 15. Won't be ordering again.

ordered and no delivery. used the get help function where the restaurant is supposed to text within 5 minutes. No repsonse. And of course no food. if unable to deliver than should not accept the order. now 7 days to get a refund and still no food or money to order elsewhere. shameful.

Ordered on Just Eat, order accepted, and 1h30 minutes later there is no food, and the restaurant has been closed 30 minutes so we can't call. Will be doing a chargeback

I have always been a big fan of maxs yeadon having not ordered for a while I decided to give them a ring and order my favourite meal after placing my order I sat in wait for two hours ten minutes then the knock on the door finally came taking the delivery costing £22 for mixed kebab starter lamb potato and peas vindalo keema paratha and two chapati on first impressions all was good until I tasted said meal it was nothing like I used to have the blandest most tasteless food I have probably ever eaten there has plainly been a change of ownership or staff would not recommend at the present moment unless they up there game I shall not order again

Peshwari naan to take home. 'be 10 minutes'. Obviously from frozen. Dry. Flat. Bit of pan fried maybe. No proper naan qualities. This is my local place. Morrisons had no naans.

Got some of the best food Iv tasted so far the customer service was perfect and the way the worker behind the desk on Monday was super welcoming adding an extra layer of taste to the food

First time of eating from here. Ordered for delivery. Very impressed with everything from the man taking the order, the quality of the food, the delivery time and the delivery man. The food was tasty, still hot when delivered and the salad was fresh. Would definitely recommend and we’ll order from here again. Ordered a Max’s starter, donner kebab, rogan josh and pilau rice. 100% reliable! We have been ordering regularly from here for about twenty years. In all this time the food has arrived hot and on time, even in the worst of weather. I can’t recall an order ever being incorrect. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and polite.

Terrible service always late and always wrong address never ever using again I’ve been waiting 2 hours for 1 curry and it was cold not going back again

Nice Take away and I'm highly recommending Chicken Tikka Masala with Pilau Rice. The portion is good enough and the cost is really affordable comparing to the other places.

Great place for late night takeaway! Got back at midnight from a long delayed flight from Poland and had a nice Margherita that was big enough to share with my girlfriend. Is also very close to the airport, seems very popular in the local area aswell!

Got a delivery for myself and the family, food arrived quick and was all warm. Portions were the perfect size and the man on the phone was very helpful and nice.

Never had a bad meal from Max's. Always yummy hot when I've ordered delivery or collected. Drivers great and polite. Always plenty they don't skimp on portions.

donner calzones here are so nice, they’ve somehow improved the flavour of them. Even my review doesn’t do it justice, you have to actually taste it to know what im talking about.

I come back from LBA airport after traveling from Malta, the husband was rushing but I was just tired & hungry. We came to maxs & ordered chicken Lahori masala it was by far better then what I can make. Everything else was spot on too, I’m from burnley but will travel here purely for the food in the near future. Staff lovely especially the teen on phone really polite.. 10/10 from me x

Took my children to yeadon and we enjoyed a lovely meal from max’s, ordered a variety of food and everything was nice and fresh, delivery was spot on and the staff were well mannered and friendly. Definitely will be ordering again and i recommend this place to everyone.

Came to this takeaway as it was the only one open at the time and within walking distance. We got there not knowing what to expect. We then got our food and took it home and I wish I never did. The chips tasted like soggy cardboard and the pizza was like a Morrison’s own. Expected a lot better and will not be finishing the rest off this morning.

A nice, low key take-away. The lamb tikka vindaloo I had was quite tasty and the wait for preparation reasonable. The quality of the ingredients was good and it would have been possible to share between people of modest appetites. For a gourmand like myself it was quite adequate with the two chapattis. The offerings were quite extensive and would bear sampling at future visits.

10/10, bought from here a quite a few times but this is my first time rating. The cheesy chip wraps are amazing would recommend them.

Just ordered my usual special kebab on garlic naan which I order at least once a week it was absolutely disgusting there were massive chunks of garlic just slapped on the top of it a CAGED APE could produce better I deffinately won't be going back there again

Really didn’t enjoy the undercooked chips and the poor Hawaiian pizza which had one bit of ham and a rock hard base, partner had a hhair in his pizza. However they did deliver in a good timeframe and price would have been good if pizza tasted nice Further to this, contacted the pizza House who came to collect the pizza with a Hair on and said they would issue a refund, 4 days later no refund had been credited. Contacted them again and they said they couldn’t find a hair and therefore wouldn’t give a refund (wish we’d through to take a photo) however they had taken a whole pizza off us, keen to get rid of me I was told I’d get a refund issued that ‘would be in my bank on Tuesday’ and was hung up on. Not believing this I contacted Just Eat who we’d used asking them to confirm this for us and they spoke to the takeaway, just eat then rang me back to say there was no intention of issuing me a refund. Terrible food, customer service and no professionalism or integrity.

Terrible. Waited nearly 2 hours for our order, had to call the store three times and each time the person who I spoke with was very rude and making excuses. When the pizza did arrive one of them was not what we ordered. We ate it anyway (since we were starving) and in all fairness it was average. Worst customer service I've experienced. Couldn't ask for a refund because we paid with card.
