Food was spot on but the 2 women on the counter are the most unfriendly women I've ever met. Not a smile or a please or thank you. Very off putting snd wouldn't go back. Awful customer service

Food's good and staff are always friendly.

We order food from here regularly and have done for years; it's our go-to spot when we want a nice takeaway. We have rarely been disappointed in what we've ordered and when we have, it's always been fixed promptly with a cheerful attitude. I recommend the pizza, which has great options for toppings, a nice chewy crust that's flavourful and delicious. I also love the chicken kebab and the potato fritters -- they're addictive! The fish and chips is also great; in Fife you get two fish! Whether you live in Inverkeithing or are just visiting the area, you can't go wrong with Maurizios!

Popped in for a chippie. Got a hamburger supper. Batter was rock hard, burger was dripping grease. Chips were decent. Won’t return.

Got good yesterday and one of the fish was over cooked and hard, also the pasta had no taste. A total let down

Can't speak highly enough of this place. I was coming from the US for a wedding, got into the airbnb late. Walked by, looked like they were closing up. Asked if they were still open, and the person working up front ushered me in, was super polite and friendly, made me more food than I needed. Went above and beyond in every aspect. Service, price, quality, attitude.

I gotta sausage supper it was over cooked at look warm the manger said he would not replace it looked like it lay gor an hour or so

Ordered a Calzone and when it arrived it was cold. Called them up and explained. Used this takeaway many times. Never had an issue, but they were quick to resolve and send out a new delivery. Quick response

Boycott this place. The guy who runs it is looking for £1200 a month for a flat in Rosyth that he only paid 94k for. How greedy can you get. Market value is about £750 tops. His chips are pish anaw anyway

Had delivery done and can only speak on the food I ate. I had the Italian calzone which was absolutely loaded with ingredients. Loved the taste and it was exactly what I was craving at an affordable price. The only improvement I can see is that the crust be more flavorful but once you were able to bite into both the crust and the contents of the calzone this did not matter. Did not sit inside so I have no ability to rate the atmosphere of the restaurant. We were also about a 10 minute drive from the restaurant and delivery came in a very timely manner, about 25-30 minutes.

Working in Rosyth for a week and decided to get a takeaway. We weren’t disappointed. The menu is almost as big as the portions. Staff were friendly and the food was brilliant. We visited 3 times trying their pizza, calzone and king kebab. All superb.

Super disappointed with the two pasta dishes ordered. Had a hankering for spag bol. When I got it wish I'd have spent 99p on a spag bol from asda as there would have been more meat in it. Was bland unseasoned and just a rip off. I'd have thought being an Italian they'd know how to make a tasty spag bol. Other dish was spicy haggis penne again for the price they charge I would have expected big chunks of haggis but to no avail. Total rip off at £7. Odd per dish. Cheesy garlic bread was 4 tiny baguette offerings. Won't be ordering from there again for a loonnnngg time 😒

Posting on here as your member of staff was so rude when I called. We visit nearly every week, sometimes twice a week and after persuading my son to eat something different for a change I ordered him a kids hamburger. Picture on website shows a burger in a roll and nowhere does it say hamburger in batter otherwise I would never have ordered it as I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. To say I was wrong by your member of staff imo is really out of order please check your website and change the wording so people are not buying food that doesn’t even represent what you get. I’d also suggest getting someone else friendlier to represent your company. I was being friendly and just explaining your website should be corrected if this is not what you are going to receive as nowhere does it say hamburger in batter however your staff member became quite aggressive towards telling me I was wrong. This is now our final straw and we won’t be back. After numerous wrong food orders, poorer quality, smaller quantity for more money. We finally give up. Loyalty means nothing to you guys. Shame I can’t post a picture to prove I wasn’t wrong

It's simple. Not only do they do fish and chips and other takeaway favourites, they also do great tasting pizzas, prepared quickly and with fresh ingredients. Open till late, so Maurizio's is very handy for us night owls. Friendly and accommodating staff. A high street treasure! And they even have their own delicious ice cream!

Ok so we went into this chip shop at 5pm tonight after they opened at 4pm. The items that we ordered they had to cook from start so i knew they would be beautiful. Its just a pity the chips hadnt been cooked fresh. They were reheats and disgusting and went straight into the bin. What a disappointment. Spoiled my meal. Shame because its a nice chip shop.

Staff were all standing about with arms folded we had smoked sausage in batter,chips pickled onion and large single fish and both batters were like chewing gum and chips were mush and cold

Arrived 35mins late, stone cold! I had called after 20mins to be informed, I shld have ignored initial text advising that it was on it's way!! Anyway girl advised it was NOW on its way, one of two local deliveries. After a further 15 min wait, arrived cold. This was meant to be a treat for our grandchildren...... I complained on their website, we spent nearly £26, refunded £6......we have spent lots of money in this shop in the past, we'll NEVER use them again!!!!!!!!!

40 mins late, cold and I dont even recognise what food group this belongs to!!!! ...... its meant to be spring rolls but clearly there is nothing spring like on offer here Appalling burnt tasteless and unedible ..... shame this used to be a great takeaway but has been on the slide for a while now. Won't be back unless I'm considering suicide by poisoning.

The worst carry out we ever had . Penne pasta was tasteless & how can you mess up a chip roll ?? Dry , hard chips with the least amount of sauce . Already wrapped so wasn’t asked how much sauce so failed on all counts . Shame as local & wont darken the doorstep again .

Considering I live only about 3min away from the restaurant, i find it kinda ridiculous to get the food delivered freezing cold.

Bad experience this evening. Spicy haggis supper with batter soggy and tough like shoe leather. Contents almost passable but stuck to inside of batter. Chips partly ok/partly hard in middle. Most of it now in bucket. Waste of £6 !

Home made coleslaw it looked like, pizza dough cooked perfectly with huge amounts of toppings on it. Chicken wings where spicy and crispy i honestly couldn't fault it. Huge improvements have been made here i think since my last visit I would encourage others to give them another chance as this was an incredible pizza.

Ordered kebab with garlic mayo....they sent salad dressing...25 minutes later still no sauce. Italian boss man shouting and swearing, at me in background, becos I wanted a refund....man is an idiot..zero customer service....zero fks given...YOU THE CUSTOMER DONT MATTER....CLEARLY. Rude manager with crappie customer service. Avoid if you want what you ordered.

If you are picking up food ask to check it first, they seem quite happy to serve burned food . I hate having to leave a negative review, I’ve been eating from here for over a decade, but this happened to me tonight and it’s not the first time. Tonight it was a burnt calzone, previously a burnt pizza. If you are ordering in advance via web they just don’t seem to care. Looks like I’ll have to find somewhere else in future, very disappointed.

First time i have ordered or had food from them and my food arrived earlier than stated on the just eat app food was piping hot and absolutley delicious this place will now be my go to for pizza orders will highly recommend them to friends and family if they haven't already ordered from this place.

Partner raves about the kebabs but I usually get sushi from across the road. Tonight, for simplicity, I got a fish supper. Quite frankly, it was boggin’!!! It was so greasy, I couldn’t eat it. Went straight in the bin. The plate I had it on was coated white with all the residual fat. Never again!!! And since I pay for our takeaways he’ll be getting his kebabs elsewhere. Not clogging up his arteries with that rubbish.

Top class service we got the American Burger and the Special Burger very tasty and great value for money thankyou Maurizios for a great meal

I followed the app and submitted my order 19:00 got the code and submitted as per instructions, the app then said my order would be with me 20:00. I called 20:20 to check where the order was and was told to reorder over the phone. The customer service was rubbish and ended up hanging up on me. Not impressed and won’t use again, deleting the app and don’t recommend

Food was really good and it appears you get a juice with the kids sausage supper. However, as this was during the 2021 Covid pandemic, I was not happy about the lack of masks worn by staff, no-one wore a mask and most customers didn't wear one either! Besides that a good service and would go back

Ordered outside and asked for salt, vinegar and sauce on both (get it already wrapped so can’t check) get all the way home and there’s nothing on them, just binned them as was too dry. Shouldn’t charge 50p service charge unless your going to give the service.

Waited 1hr and 20min for a delivery, when it eventually arrived the food was barely warm. Phoned the shop and all all they had to offer was a poor excuse that it must have been the length of time it took the driver to deliver it?? Here’s a tip give your drivers less orders to deliver if they are that slow, will go elsewhere in future were I can at least get hot food delivered!! Very poor service.

Stayed locally and took the plunge for a pizza. Having reviewed locals I opted for Maurizios. On the face of it it looked good but this turned out to be totally wrong. Due to,COVID I rang my order through, or thought I did. I turned up to find that instead of the pizza I had gotten penne pasta! Order was quickly rectified with a Curt apology. The member of staff gave me the pasta as an apology and off I went pizza in hand. I only wish I had checked it before leaving! My pizza was dry with a crust as tough as any crusty bread, the cheese was rank bad, the spicy chicken wasn’t spicy and the rest was just a mosh mash of awful takeaway pizza. I Luckily for me I had the pasta to fall back in but lo and behold, on opening it it was mushy and horrid. A total waste of money and time. Not a happy bunny and would never recommend it to anyone.

Dont know what there kebabs ect are like but there fried stuff wasnt good, got 2 suppers and they went in the bin,chips were all dried up and fish was like it had been sitting for hours, maybe just a bad night??? but I dont think I will go back there.

Been going here for years, went in last night in for a large bag of chips. Seems portions are getting smaller but prices are rising, also now charging extra for a cardboard box.

Called up to place my order asked how much, then when I arrived to pay for it the price was much higher than I was told... When Questioned why I was told the girl made a mistake, okay I understand mistakes happen...even at that though the price was still higher than on the menu and just eat, I was then told we can increase the price anytime we like, just eat is wrong and the menu is old..... Food has always been good although my order was wrong after all that!...... Pity the customer service let's the shop down.... Dissapointed

I placed an order around six tonight went over and grabbed some beer and a few bits of shopping from the supermarket. On my return to Maurizio's my food was ready. It was hot and delicious the family loved it yet again. Personally I love your pasta it's made to perfection. Thank you once again.

Best fish and chips in the rosyth and inverkeithing area by a long way. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Prices are pretty good as well and always get plenty for your moneys worth. Great chip shop.

My family and I were on a trip. we ordered Turkish Calzone only £9.90, very delicious and tasty. Also, we ordered Chicken Salad and that was great. prices were reasonable too. we really enjoyed. It was a nice memory in Inverkeithing.

Excellent takeaway in this area ! I tried their delicious Donner king kebabs. Food is cooked in front of you so piping hot.The prices are very competitive.Deliveries arrive promptly and are accurate. I highly recommend here to those who are looking for a reliable place!

Ordered medium rare grilled steak from Maurizio's but it was a bit overcooked however the delivery was quick and it was delicious
