Amazing Keralan restaurant in Taunton. Really enjoyed the Kizhi Parotta (recommended if you fancy something interesting and really tasty), and also really good more general Indian classics like butter chicken. Also really friendly staff - definitely try this place!

My husband and I have eaten here on several occasions and this wonderful restaurant continues to delight us! Without exception, every meal we have had here has been absolutely exquisite, from the starters to the desserts! This really is the best Indian restaurant we have been to; the food is delicious and quite unique. The staff are so pleasant and welcoming; nothing is too much trouble. They offer great advice about accompaniments as well as interesting insights as to the specialities offered. In sum, this is a wonderful restaurant - fantastic food and fabulous service.

This is the second time we’ve visited with our friends and on both occasions we were blown away by the food as well as the friendliness of the staff. I’m a vegan and they specifically adapted the items I wanted. All the dishes were presented beautifully and tasted divine. We’ll go back, again and again.

Thank you for another fantastic evening all round. The service was amazing, we were so well looked after for my Dad's 70th birthday celebration. The food was absolutely delicious, wonderful varied keralan curries and we even managed chocomosas and delightfully refreshing mango desserts. My Dad doesn't live locally and will only choose Mattancherry as THE place to have a meal out when they visit us!

Wow! What a place to have a curry! And everything else they sell! Honestly the best place I've ever eaten Indian food at. Not your normal same three Currys( tikka.korma,Rogan) they have genuine authentic Currys all cooked to order! A Fantastic selection of vegan/ vegetarian options which just as if not better than the main menu. Great flavour , great use of spices . The starters patta chat is to die for ! . I could go on and on at how lovely the food and team are that are here. Very welcoming and friendly . And fantastic food !
