Sadly the rice tasted soapy, the noodles were mushy and the crispy beef tasted burnt.

Ive ordered from here many times before, nothing tasted right from this order. Really unenjoyable this time round

Hot, tasty, exactly what the doctor ordered. Chilli beef was probably too thin, prawns in the special curry were small and not king prawns, not a lot of pork etc in the rice but I think it’s personal preference. Will order again.

Lamb was awful, everything was overcooked. Rice was flavourless. Rang the restaurant and said we would be happy for it to be replaced and they refused and told me to complain via just eat ?? Chance at offering customer service ruined …

This was the best Chinese we have ever had, was just absolutely incredible 10/10

i used to come here alot but it went down hill so I gave it a wide birth for along time I thought I'd give another chance tonight and tbh I shouldn't of. The rice was so hard was awful the noodles were very very greasy the curry sauce was a lump of jelly the chips were soggy and arrived with something else inside the packet looked like calamari bits was vile , the giant spring roll was soggy fell apart packet was full of oil I will never be returning again . worst yet and cold . 0 stars

I spent £40 and only ate the pork that was the worst meal I’ve ever had it all tasted really weird

The food was terrible, everything very soggy, greasy with no flavour and we had to chuck it away. My order included two different squid meals and I only got two ridiculously tiny pieces included with each dish and tonnes of veggies to cover it up. This ruined our Sunday family dinner together. Never ordering from this place again, waste of money, very disappointed.

It was very kind our request for a food intolerance was taken on board, thank you but we won't be ordering from this restaurant again. Everything was overcooked and so deep fried alot of it was difficult to chew and so greasy especially the lemon chicken. The duck was very fatty and some burnt bits. No hoisin sauce. We spent £62 so should have called up and asked for a refund or replacement but we'd had a bad day and we're all starving and had to go out again quickly after eating so we just didn't want the hassle. The chow mein and rice were nice though. Appetisers very overcooked,greasy and all chucked in squashed up together giving it all a terrible aftertaste. I think it may have been stuff from the night before re heated. Sorry but no it wasn't a good meal.

Everyone avoid this Chinese it’s absolutely vile placed a order with these last night food arrived and it looked grim chips burnt rice smelt burnt roast pork chow mein looked greasy and to much soy sauce!! Chicken balls we’ll over cooked to the point they looked burnt called restaurant up today to be told I won’t be receiving a refund!! they let flys get into peoples food very unhygienic place to get your food from I will now be reporting this place to trading standards absolute rubbish customer service !!!! Avoid at all costs don’t waste your money scummy staff members!!!!!

first time using here, food was nice and delivered reasonably hot. Only disappointment is the small portion sizes for the price. Set meal with curry, egg fried rice and chicken balls. I expected a tub of curry and a tub of rice but it was a one tub half and half and 5 chicken balls. also bought some extra dishes which where also tasty but very expensive for the size of the portion. I have given 4 stars as although the amount of food for the price was poor the food was tasty.

Super delicious as always highly recommended, all 8 dishes were excellent and piping hot. Definitely one of the best takeaways in Ipswich.

Food was over an hour late and cold when it atrived

Food was very late, some of it was very over cooked, possibly reheated and it was all cold and soggy. Absolutely disgusting.

Prompt delivery with hot food, however the flavour and quality of the food wasn’t very good, especially for the prices they’re asking for.

I was texted 10 mins before expected delivery that delivery was delayed. Delivery person was curtious and pleasant

Was on being delivered for an hour then said delivered and 15 minutes later I called the restaurant. Said it was out for delivery but was delivered half hour late and afte lr 1.5 hours of them saying it was out for delivery. Most of the food was warm but the chow mein was well over cooked and like stodgy. Everything else was nice but would have been better hot.

First time trying here and I personally won't be back. Pork and chicken balls were over cooked and nearly all batter as were prawn balls (which definitely weren't king prawns like advertised). Curry sauce tasted nothing like a curry, and sweet and sour sauce left a funny taste. Foo yung was watery and leaked all over the bag and chips were really greasy. Overall I would rate very highly, we ordered as the delivery time suited us as we were going out. After ordering they extended delivery time by 30 minutes! On arrival the food was first class, the delivery driver was very good. I will definitely be using them again!

Disappointing - wrong rice was delivered, chop suey had soft beansprouts, broth in chicken noodle soup was bland, while the rest of the food was salty. First and last time of using.

2nd time ordered from these has new in the area and both times I personally had two different items and both times have been lovely plenty of it and very tasteful thankyou to the chef I definitely recommend this takeaway

Disappointed, the pancake rolls are usually the best but sad to say tonight they tasted decidedly odd. Whether it was old fryer oil or something else I don't know but we'll think twice about ordering again which is a shame.

Items arrived damaged, but alongside that the food quality was terrible cheap and chewy!

Absolute vile food! Smelt like and tasted like chemicals. The whole order was wasted. Sweet and sour sauce was a red chemical liquid. Avoid this place!!!!

I regularly use this place for takeaway, so I can't really complain as I know what I'm getting. Food is a bit hit and miss, but it's mostly on the plus side of ok.

Big portion sizes, not the best we've had by any stretch, but wasn't disappointed just a bit too salty for us.

Absolutely delicious! Especially the duck pancakes. However be warned, the salt and pepper chicken is SPICY!!!

Really lovely food the chow main was a little greasy but other than that lovely!

Kung po chicken and chicken balls were lovely! Food was hot, and arrived 15 mins early! Delivery lady was nice too. Only downfall was rice noodles were a bit bland. Other than that, excellent meal!

Vomit inducing, Not only did they get the order wrong they placed shrimp into the special fried rice after they were asked 3 times not to include it due to allergy.

Food was mediocre. Crab was not crab. Rice clustered and dried out in places. Fritters had barely any syrup. Was initially pleased by the rapid delivery time, but now I see why it was so quick. Likely reusing older food.

The beef chow mein is seriously tasty and very generous portions - still the best pancake rolls you will lay hands on - 100% recommended.

Egg fried rice had 2 specks of egg, it was literally just plain rice. Prawn toast was very soggy.

Yes the food was early..but food was awful..I had sweet & sour chicken balls with mushroom rice..it was all really greasy..left a greasy taste in my mouth..the batter on the chicken balls was overcooked & a tiny pot of sweet & sour sauce which was really sweet where u could actually taste it, & u wouldn't even know there was any sauce at all on the chicken balls 2b honest..not nearly enough sauce for eight chicken balls.Rice was also greasy.I ended up leaving most of it..which for me was unusual.It was also more expensive than previous places ive bought the same dish from..& it definitely was not worth the money.I would not use this restaurant again & would not recommend it.

Worst Chinese I've ever had. Absolute waste of £30. Lemon chicken and sweet and sour sauce tasted like cleaning fluid, beef in black bean sauce just tasted of salt. Cheap hard rice. Straight in the bin. Wish I'd read the reviews first.

After 40 yrs of using master chef, time to move on. Different chef's sometimes good sometimes not so good, I have always been 5 stars but no more sorry.

Quicker than expected food was hot and ok

Delicious food as always, arrived early and very hot. Delivery driver friendly. Only complaint is the tub was too weak for the curry sauce and it all spilt out the bottom, but that has never happened when ordering from here before.

Service and delivery times were both excellent. However the food quality is poor can’t even describe how bad the ribs were , the chilli beef was chewy and dripping in a horrible watery sauce , the foo young was also shoddy and falling apart , only decent thing was the chips 2nd time but also the last time ordering from here

The food was tasty and very good quality, with just the right amount of sauce.

Everyone was happy with their meals. I loved also how the Singapore fried rice was spicy and chili's thrown in, however the Singapore dish, smelt and tasted of old sesame oil. I do like fresh sesame oil but maybe in a chow mein 🤷 plus over £3.00 for prawn crackers 😱

You would of thought I ordered sloppy joe !!! Salt and pepper chicken was like a swamp, ribs tasteless. Arse all round

The Singapore noodles were awful over cooked mush

You have to order a sweet chilli sauce pot, it is unreal. Usual awesome pancake rolls and prawn toast, best in town. Chow mein always tastes incredible but never the same like you'd get from a chain - oh, and apparently the chips are to die for.

Use to be Nr. 1 fan! Unfortunately something has changed. Butterflie prawns with huge amount of batter-oily. Satay chicken - huge, dry chunks of chicken. Sauce itself - still great! Creamy - full of flavour. Still tastes good but use to be little bit better! Still will be coming back customer but hoping to see some improvement. 😊

Excellent service, the pancake roll was a meal in itself but everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommended.

The chow mein noodles were all mushy and clumped together, the roast pork curry was like shredded pork, and the sauce was far too thick and no mushrooms ect in the curry. The rice was extremely greasy, but wasn’t even egg ‘fried’ rice. Was boiled rice with some egg mixed in. Asked for curry sauce with the chicken balls (was an option) but received sweet and sour sauce. One of the worst Chinese takeaways I have eaten and will not re-order again from here again.

The food was not great….. salty and burnt, chicken didn’t seem like it was fresh… it was cut into cube like shapes and had a real chewy texture. Even my bottle of coke was warm… v disappointing

Food was delivered on time and very hot. The order was correct and the food was lovely.

Been using this place for years and have to say I've always been very happy with the food. Rice, chow meins, crispy duck, chicken dishes, beef dishes...everything has always been fresh, hot and tasty. Delivery is also pretty quick normally as well

Food was ready to collect in 15 minutes, good quality food. One item wrong on the order (chicken with mushrooms rather than the chicken with cashew nuts we wanted) otherwise we enjoyed everything.

Everything was delicious except the rice, looked like it had been chopped into small pieces, more like cous cous! If that’s an economy please don’t do it, next time I’ll skip the rice and microwave a packet of Uncle Ben’s long grain!

Won’t be ordering again. The crispy shredded beef was chewy and the rice was mushy. Waste of money!
