Great afternoon in there yesterday

Type of place I wouldn't expect to exist any more. Really nice sandwich (really nice bread) and great coffee for a good price in cool surroundings. I've been here once before when I stopped in Acocks Green, look forward to coming back again!

What a find! Quirky little cafe next to Acocks Green train station. Good coffee and sandwiches, both in bespoke interior, which felt far more boudoir than cafe. Good and friendly service with strong support from regulars. We'll be back.

Very good cafe with excellent food and friendly service

Came in for a ‘brunch’ with my partner. He had a bacon and egg sandwich which looked quite impressive considering it was just a sandwich. I had the mini breakfast expecting a plate half filled like majority of places but the breakfast came out as a completely full plate and I was certainly full after eating it. Definitely well worth the money for only £7 which also includes a tea or coffee. Quality was not compromised by the quantity of food either as it was all cooked very well and tasted amazing. The lady that served us was very polite and friendly. The decor is different but I liked it and it felt very cosy. Would 100% come again and recommend to others, thank you.

Alberto's is such a gem! Fantastic service, great atmosphere, cosy decor, comfy seating, wonderful menu and great cocktails.

This is a fantastic and very well cared for spectacular café-bar in Acocks Green (B’ham). Gorgeous relaxing colourful design, and lovely soft sofas to spend the afternoon relaxing in. The host of this establishment cannot do enough for you, lovely guy. Thoroughly recommended.

Right next to Acocks Green train station this quirky cafe/restaurant does a superb breakfast 🍳- we had the so-called small breakfast at £7 per person - anything but small, it comprised fried egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, grilled half tomato, spicy tomato in a sauce, red pepper, toast, & tea or coffee. You'd need a really healthy appetite to take on the £10 full English! : & they do an excellent value £40 full English for a group of 5. The food was fresh, of good quality, & tasted great. Service was friendly & efficient. A nice touch were the lovely fresh flowers on display. The owner told us that they also do a Sunday lunchtime barbecue. Highly recommended - we'll be back.

Discovered by a friend we popped over. Good breakfasts, good quality ingredients, cooked well, what more can you ask for. Well worth a visit

Amazing staff! Came here for a little birthday get together and the staff were so attentive and friendly! The cocktails are also beautiful! Feels as if you are in a completely different location!

Me and my hubby popped in for a coffee. Wow!!!! What a lovely place. We were very impressed they did greek frappe's so reminded us of Greece and the inside and outside garden area is so nice. It was recommended to us ro try it and we absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back,for food next time. A real hidden gem.

My favourite place in Birmingham!!!! Hidden secret gem! This place will blow your mind. On the outside it looks deceptively plain but as soon as you walk in you’re transported to another realm altogether! Alberto the owner incredibly humble and a joy to talk to. Friendly down to earth staff. Yummy food very reasonable prices. A massive massive array of hot, cold, cocktails, mock tails, alcoholic, non alcoholic, soft drinks available. They that have it all. The decor is so unique and quirky- as for the outside…. Well I’ll let you go and have a look at their back garden/seating area. Roll on summer! I’ll be here all day every day 😁 Words just don’t do it justice, come along and experience it for yourself…if you dare 😜

A gem in Acocks Green, right by the station. Quirky interior, squashy sofas and eclectic decor. We had chips (a little over seasoned, but tasty) and bacon butties. Good honest fare. They serve a variety of drinks. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, an amazing looking hot choc choices, and alcohol. Cakes and pastries. The staff couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and service with a smile. They have an outdoor seating area at the front. An absolute must visit. You'll definitely return 😊

I got a really large all day breakfast and a nice coffee for 6 pounds. I was impressed by the price for the portion size and will definitely go back again! ** The only thing missing from the vegetarian breakfast was a veggie sausage, but the food was very nice and well priced overall.

I love the food and coffee and the staff here is very friendly and nice.

The food is atrocious, the eggs had this green seasoning all on, didn’t state this beforehand, came with tomatoes when I ask for beans, the toast wasn’t toast just warm bread, granted it was nice bread but it wasn’t toast and there was no fried bread unless the toast was fried bread. The sausage sandwich and coffee was the only thing that was nice, even then the butter didn’t taste like butter, more like margarine. I don’t like making comments on how bad something was I just keep quiet and never buy it again but I don’t want others to waste their money cause we payed nearly £20.

Absolutely disgusting FULL OF GREESE, absolutely shocking, rang up to complain and the so called man said, “ok we block you don’t ring again” AVOID AT ALL COST DO NOT GO HEAR, have took pictures and have sent them to just eat!!!

The best breakfast options. Economical and tatsy food will enough quantity. The staff is very attendive and kind. Fast aervices as well. Not crowded at the morning. You can enjoy the breakfast with peace of mind with a good vibe. You also get a classic feel while having food here. Had the Mini Marshel breakfast that was full for me.

just had a marshall breakfast bad review just when you in there next tell them lay off the salt 🧂 and oil is for the cooking not for food to swim in don't cook mushrooms on same thing they cook onions on as the no longer taste like mushrooms and who likes solid yolk eggs the best thing was bread and butter or toast not sure what it was

3 burnt mushrooms on my sandwich I couldn’t eat it because I’m allergic to mushrooms if I wanted mushrooms I would have ordered them

I had visited Marshalls before, and it was a very different vibe to my recent visit. Firstly dogs are no longer welcome, with a big tacky sign indicating this, which is a shame. There are no vegan options or diet drink options which is a shame. Customer service is poor and not very attentive. I love to support independent places but this really isn't pushing itself to be somewhere where people would like to be. I visited on a Friday evening, at 6.30pm we were told they were closing. The cafe also has no social media presence anymore (used to have an active Instagram). I feel the new owners have really let this place go, hopefully they can turn it around.

Awful! Wrong food delivered, cant even get hold of them on the number. Asked for jacket potato, got given breakfast which is not eatable as i eat halal, they gave bacon and sausages which i cant eat! Chips look weird colour, not edible. They failed to call me to tell me this change or else i would have cancelled my order. Poor service, would not recommend.

Gorgeous establishment, started off with one unit and amazing coffee. Now they've expanded, beer on tap, sandwiches, vegan options, soft drinks and the coffee has only gotten better. We need more of their like in Acocks Green. Here's hoping these guys go above and beyond!

Great coffee and good food. We visited this cafe a few times before lockdown and we're very pleased that it seems to be thriving now and even expanding! The service is warm and friendly and the decor is quirky. So nice to finally have an interesting, family run independent in Acocks Green. We're very much looking forward to the garden opening at the back 👍😀 It would be lovely if this started a local trend 🙏👏♥️

I have only been there twice as I get off at the train station near by. The staff there are always friendly and made me feel like a regular. I would recommend the hot chocolate!! Very friendly atmosphere and you can bring a laptop and work there without being bothered!!

This place is amazing they have great service and great hot drinks. The atmosphere is so warm and cosy especially during the winter. I love it here great work guys :)
