Marmaris Tranent Takeaway in East Lothian

Delivery was fast but all the cheese comes of the pizza when you take a bite.

Rude and don’t give chips with a meal and doesn’t even advertise. No chips food is not worth price and the fact you don’t even get chips too makes it pointless strongly suggest a different takeaway

Really poor food quality. Both meals were binned after a few bites, the mixed pakora had 3 vegetable pakora balls and 2 bits of chicken, didn't finish it either. The following morning I had an upset stomach, would never order from here again.

Second time ordering from here, first time had no issues. This time food took 85 minutes to arrive (ordered 4.45pm), we tried phoning the takeaway multiple times to find out what was happening with food, but no answer, and even appeared like they just hung up phone on one try. Food & drink eventually arrived, not exactly hot. The chips were overcooked, like they had been through the frier multiple times. The garlic bread pizza had clearly been sat under a hot lamp or something for a while, just made it very chewy and not able to be eaten. The Hawaiian pizza seemed like it would have been nice, were it hot. It felt like it had been a while since made as only warm and so not very pleasant. The cans of Diet Coke were roasting warm, not exactly usable anytime soon. I tried to ask the delivery driver if it was busy and explain that we had been waiting almost an hour and a half, and the takeaway didn't answer the phone, he just muttered "yes very busy".

Guy answerd the phone no respect at all told um my address for 3rd time told me to calm down over phone with nothing but attitude will not be ordering again that’s for sure food is great but that guy doesn’t deserve his job there sacked

I got my kebab and the most interesting thing that happens was I cried right into my dry as* kebab and salad why does this happen!!

I use to come here all the time a few years ago and loved it but as time has gone on the man that’s normally in there seems to be more interested in any woman that comes in rather then any food in the building!! Standards have dropped and prices have risen dramatically in such short span of time) I was so angry wanted to do a kurt zouma On my cat!!

Who actually sends kebabs with no salad or sauce ! Pizza ruined won't be ordering again

The order arrived too late, food was cold and portions very small. Contacted the shop to let them know and i have never experienced such a poor, rude and unprofessional customer service. If i could give 0 stars... Will never order again, there are many way better kebab shops close by, not recommended !

Beautiful taste, great portions, reasonable prices, very clean and fast and friendly staff, excellent service. I strongly recommend for everyone to try.

Placed order through website which was fine ordered arrived ontime had query bout order called the shop to be spoken to like a silly little girl guy was very rude n abrupt and kept speaking over me and raising his voice not what you would expect from a business man even when I brought this to his attention he still continued to do it first and last time i will ordered from them word of mouth is normally how businesses thrive only word of mouth I will say avoid it at all costs food is below average a greggs sausage roll would have tasted nicer!!

Fast food usually implies food that is lacking, but not from maramis. Good food, fast delivery.if there are any way the staff at maramis can help (even improvising for picky eaters) they will do their very best to help. Maramis has been our fave take away from the start of covid lockdown, and it will remain so. Thank you all at maramis.

Ordered a pizza it was"nt very good as the base was bought in and not authentically rolled and made themselves ...not good Marmaris i wont be ordering again..

Absolutely disgraceful. Placed an order through the website. It didn’t go through so reordered through just eat app. Got order twice and was charged twice. Contacted marmaris and asked them to take one order back. They absolutely refused and would not refund me or take back the order. I asked why they would not question two exact same orders to one address guy on phone was most unhelpful and rude. Would not recommend and will definitely not be ordering from them again. Totally disgusted by this

Terrible website - not the best place to order food

Delicious food, unfortunately it was 40 mins late and freezing cold, this was especially irritating as I had ordered it two hours before I wanted it delivered

very very good they also do halal driver was sound person on phone was great and food was amazing very large portions and piping hot. Will defo be ordering here again

Ordered a Chicken Pakora Pizza ..... still looking for the Chicken Pakora ... overpriced for what we got.

Oh my god, the food I ordered (Kofte Shashlik kebab and chips and curry) was out of this world. You have exceeded my expectation by far! fresh, full of flavour, just seriously mouth watering, generous portions (I had some leftovers the next day - even better!), definitely worth every single penny. Curry sauce best I have ever had! My husband also seriously enjoyed his Doner kebab and chicken nuggets. We'll be returning soon for definite. Thank you for great service, xxx

Brilliant kebab, can't fault it.

Just ordered food from there, when the driver arrived he requested more money than what we had paid from the card online and what it was on the receipt. When we requested to keep the receipt he had started being aggressive and shouting on us. Food VERY average small portion and cold ! Phoned up to complain and spoke with a very arrogant Tony (who claimed to be a boss) and called me a liar !!! Avoid even if you are very hungry !

Food was absolutely terrible. When I called to complain about my order the guy told me he didn't care and didn't accept my complaint.

I used to go to Marmaris all the time. The chicken wraps were to die for. A £5.00 well spent. However they changed the garlic mayo & I didn't like it. (It may have changed again, no idea) Anyway, I love the pizzas always fresh ingredients & if you want to add/remove toppings it's never a problem. The pizza dough has a lovely taste & texture. The burgers are fab too! I would rather go to Marmaris than the chippy etc. Money well spent x P.s. Happy to say that the wraps are back to perfection. Slurp!

At first there were never issues with ordering from here although there were a lot of negative chat about the place but the past two times that I’ve ordered from here the food has arrived cold on one occasion and the chips solid . Tonight I ordered a munchie box and had requested it for 8.30 and it arrived at 7.20 . I asked for bbq base and got cheese and tomato pizza and the chips were solid , crispy and looked as if they were old and reheated . Definitely won’t be ordering again from here . Each driver that has delivered food to us has always been pleasant and chats away to my little girl at the door so I can’t say it’s the staff , it’s the quality of food that you pay for and what you actually get .
