Marlo’s brasserie in Barnet

Nice find, hard to park though, good menu choice. Bit of a squeeze once seated, seemed very popular and busy but need to sort out both their front doors to close automatically, as they remained pushed open once customers arrived or left. Food was good with quite impressive burgers.

What a little gem of a find. We can’t recommend this place enough. The food is delicious, I can recommend the whole baby deboned chicken in spicy sauce. My wife had Marlo’s burger, she said one of the best in a long time. My daughter had the vegetarian wrap with sweet potato fries. We shared some squid to start, very fresh! The service was exemplary! Thank you all , for giving us such a lovely late lunch.

Found a large fried insect in my jacket potato. They made me a fresh one which frankly I could not eat. They mayo and coleslaw were sickly and creamy. They did not offer a penny off the bill! If I was the manager I would have been mortified and would have wiped the whole bill. They are lucky I do not intend to contact the the council. We were there with friends and I did not want to make a fuss. Disgusting. Avoid.

To keep this short, Insanely overpriced, Very poor food quality, avocado were NOT GOOD. This is a great pity as the staff were outstanding and the build quality of the restaurant was superb.
