I ordered my food paid for it and never got my delivery I’m disabled and rely on delivery so I had no lunch bed service

Absolutely amazing customer service with the lady who sent me a free tub of peas… I rang in a panic because I forgot to add peas to my order, I told her I would be happy to swap the gravy for peas. When my order came she’d put a tub of peas in also! How lovely! I’m a regular customer here and would always recommend highly! The food and staff are just amazing! :)

The people are rude and tye food is disgusting don't not go

Very expensive. The tubs of sauce are small already but then you only get half of the peas/ gravy in them and at £1.30 makes it worse. The smacks (potato fritter) may as well just be batter they’re that thin and again at £1+ each. The chips were very greasy and felt like they’d either been rewarmed or re fried. Certainly not for me and I understand everyone is going expensive but to pay the prices then get poor potion sizes is just taking the p***

Never ordered before, but this chippy was rated very highly. The ratings are way off the mark; It's a bang average chippy, and it took an hour and 45 minutes to deliver. Chips were greasy but tasted fine, sauces were goopy and a bit tasteless. Not great, but it was fine. Far too expensive for what it is considering that there's some really great chippies in the area, and it took too long to deliver. An overly generous 3 stars.

Matthew’s reviews sold it to me.. That’s what gave me the initial idea that this chippy must be ‘Great’. Due to him ordering from there 32 times in the past week I knew this was the place to go! Let me just just he wasn’t wrong, I’ll totally agree on his words being great. Nice quality food 👌

Superb chippy. I live around 15 mins away and always piping hot. Fish didn’t disappoint, was up there with the best I’ve had. Spicy curry was a great addition. Perfect

This is the 1st time I've place order for delivery As my Hubby normally comes in on Friday but he's always on last minute when you are closing. Then he goes to another one which is awful. So I've searched online to see if you deliver And to my excitement you did. And you have not disappointed on your freshness of the food and red hot aswell. So now I've told hubby if he going to be late we still can have our favourite Chippy tea best one in Atherton by far 😘

Absolutely fantastic chippy. Called in to fill our bellies before going to proms in the park. Took advantage of the pie and chips offer. Absolutely delicious chips, good pie and lovely curry sauce. Plus drink a for £5 each. The ladys behind the counter are an asset to the business. Plenty smiles and seem glad to work there. Will definitely be back.

Placed my order at 6pm, order didn't arrive until 7:40pm... Rang the chippy at 7:05pm asking where my food is.. The map said he was going in completely the wrong direction. The chippy said it was beyond their control and that it left them at 6:40pm and I should talk to you about it.. The food arrived with a very rude angry man who lost his temper when I asked why he'd gone the other way.. He said that the food was fresh and that it was a long way to come - 3.2 miles which should take 9 minutes. It took him over an hour to do 3.2 miles. The food was not fresh, and was not that hot..

Not been to this chippy for a long time paid a visit on Wednesday tea time had 2 lightly batterd fish and chips 😋 and gravy and it was lovely 😍 👌 👍 you get service with a lovely smile and very polite young ladies I'll definitely be calling again soon 😀 😊

Great as usual, not sure about the rag puddings though, they seem to have changed from alans old ones, new ones aren't great, mainly suet, very little filling.

This used to be best chippy in Atherton. I've not been in for a while but it seems to have changed hands. Nice girls working behind the counter but wow this was probably the worst bag of chips I've ever had. Greasy, hard chewy flavourless chips. I put loads of extra S&V on but it made no difference. If I wasn't in a rush I would have taken them back in. Perhaps just a bad day or bad batch of spuds as the other reviews are good, but I won't be back.

Best Chippy every. Visited Grandaughter at the Pendle Witch pub and went there twice over the weekend. The fish is to die for and the staff are so friendly and nice. Even bought some Holland pies to take back to Limerick, Ireland when we left.

WOW Amazing, my daughter told us about the new owners and that the food was just amazing, “definitely worth the added weight before her cruise she said” she Beene 2 days on the run!!
