Market Hall West End in City of London, Westminster

We were staying around the corner and had seen it on Masterchef when they do pop up challenge. It was very good for our group of 6 as we had 2 vegetarians. We booked and it had a lovely ambience and ages from 20 up to 70. You order from your particular pop up and they give you a buzzer. The 2 veggies ordered from vegan stall. I had 3 x burritos £17 different meats. Very tasty and no issues splitting bill you pay for your own then collect. Wine and drinks reasonable. Staff friendly and they don't rush you.

We arranged a party at this venue and my partner was explicitly told when meeting Sam that he would not have to spend the £500 bar tab. This agreement was ignored on the night. Since it was a surprise party I arrived nearly an hour after the guests, by which point the bar tab had been completely used up. If we were informed properly and made aware that it had to be used, my partner would have asked them to wait until I arrived. We have tried to resolve this amicably, but Bianca is now ignoring us hoping the problem will just disappear. Very disappointing.

Avoid booking this venue. I was misled by their manager, Sam, resulting in a £500 loss. When I tried to resolve the issue, staff provided false information to cover up what happened, and their boss, Biançe, has refused to address the situation. Extremely disappointing experience and very poor customer service.

Ubicado justo al lado de Oxford Street, este no es quizás un lugar con el que te toparás por accidente, pero vale la pena tomar el corto desvío para llegar. Consta de varios vendedores de estilo “street food”, y como la calle de Edimburgo. James’s Quarter puedes pedir bebidas en el bar ya sea en persona o a través del código QR, y para la comida que pides, consigue un buscapersonas, siéntate donde quieras y recógelo cuando te llamen. Opté por un Nasi Goreng con el huevo frito opcional, y este fue un plato decente y sabroso con la cantidad justa de calor de los chiles y mucho sabor. Lo seguí con un Blueberry Cheesecake de Whipped! Y esta también fue una porción generosa y muy sabrosa. Para colmo, el bar tenía Orchard Pig Reveller en el grifo, que fue una sorpresa agradable y mucho mejor que la escoria habitual que se obtiene por estas partes. Todo el personal era amable, y en general, era muy bueno.

Fui a "Apoy" ya que era su último día aquí, tenía las tarifas de carne y era muy agradable, las gambas de ajo también, en general simplemente increíble 👏.

Después de haber visto Market Halls en Masterchef, pensé que sería una buena opción. Lo positivo es que hay muchas opciones diferentes, pero lo negativo es que la calidad de la comida era mala en los dos lugares que probamos. Tenía una hamburguesa de pollo y patatas fritas de 20 pies y la hamburguesa en sí estaba bien, pero las patatas fritas picantes estaban sobre especiadas con algún tipo de polvo y estaban empapados. Mi compañero tenía tacos y chips de queso, los tacos estaban bien, pero nada mejor que eso, y los chips de queso eran horribles. Eran patatas fritas cortadas por arrugas, obviamente sacadas de una bolsa congeladora, y la salsa de queso probablemente nunca había visto una vaca. Pale y Ronnie. Para mí, la única ventaja de este lugar sería si tenías un grupo familiar o un grupo de amigos que todos querían comer diferentes tipos de comida. No voy a ir de nuevo

¡El mejor lugar para cócteles! Karthik’s Old Fashioned fue lo mejor que he tenido en siglos – perfectamente elaborado y absolutamente perfecto. Muy recomendable!

La entrada y las escaleras estaban muy mal iluminadas. El lugar estaba muy ocupado y ruidoso. Las mesas quedaron sin limpiar y sucias. Barra de postres sobre precio y decepcionante.

Great service, great food , great seating, family friendly and there’s food for everyone. Highly recommend the fried chicken- food from the gods. The service from the taco place was great and the manager even came to ask about the food. Was super inclusive my disabled friend was super happy about the experience. If anybody out there is obsessed with crumble cookies the cookie shop in front of the stairs made me fall in love again.Totally recommend.

Went with a friend to get out the halls. It was a lively, clean and tidy place. Modern furnishings, and plenty of places to sit. Booths, benches, tables and raised seating too. Plenty of food choice and a couple of good bar areas. Service is friendly and efficient

Food was lovely, good selection and nice atmosphere. The philipino place was delicious, especially the aubergine. Paul was very helpful and friendly.

The second Market Hall I visited in London, after the one in Victoria. The one in Oxford Street is bigger and with a much more varied offer. I ate a tuna poke bowl at Inamo Sukoshi, very tasty. If I could, I would have eaten at other stands as well, the offer sounds good. There are also two bars, with a fairly varied offer. Kinda crowded. A place to which I would return anytime!

Market Halls has a great range of food options as well as a couple of large bars. The ordering process was straightforward and there’s plenty of seating. On our visit we had the tacos, which were delicious and also reasonably priced, definitely recommend!

We love Market Halls when eating in London with our (somewhat) fussy children. The variety of cuisine options available means everyone is always happy. So many incredible foods to try. We have tried both Victoria and Oxford Street and enjoyed both. Oxford Street location feels more spacious with more traders. Both incredibly clean and tidy with plenty of staff clearing tables. We met Paul at Oxford Street today who was really friendly. Definitely recommend as a place to go with family or friends.

Pleasantly surprised. I am not normally a fan of these places but this was good. I had an early dinner on a hot Wednesday evening so it wasn't too busy. I found a table quite easily. There are normal private tables or communal tables too. Good for solo diners as well. Nice variety of street food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere and very cool on a hot day. Simply take a look at what you want, order and you will get one of those buzzer things which will go off when your order is ready. I went for Gopal's Corner (Malaysian Street Food). Food was nice. Came out quickly. Freshly made and nicely presented. Reasonably priced. Cutlery and napkins are on the table. Surprisingly clean. Great if you want a quick bite to eat and also good if you work in the area and want to grab lunch. It is located just off Oxford Street. Hidden away. If you walked past it, you would never guess that this was there. Go inside and up the escalator. Would recommend.

Lack of choice for people who don’t eat Halal food due to religious reasons. Lots of seating had reserved seating signs but no one showed up- still there after a hour of the initial booking. Meant poor seating options for people who turned up without a booking. Overpriced and poor atmosphere for a Saturday evening

We visited as a family. Bought lunch but with food allergies I need to pop over to McDonald’s for one of us. When I returned I was told I couldn’t do that. I hadn’t even opened the food and they asked us to leave. £50 worth of food. The manager is obnoxious and not understanding. I would take my business to seven dials market or borough market instead.

We found it by accident and I am so glad that we went in, this place is amazing loads of choice for things to eat. I had the sushi which was very nice, the staff at the bar were really polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are in the central London area.

Think food hall with a twist. Pre book a table near the live music stage to add some atmosphere to your night. Food choices were good - Apoy pork belly with jasmine rice was nice. The live music needs to be louder - it was a great addition to our Friday night, but a bit to quiet to get people rocking. Worth a visit for sure.

Lunch at Apoy Filipino in Market Halls Oxford street was totally disappointing, I do not recommend. My chicken Inasal was dry, with little meat and lacked taste or spices. Next to it there was just a bit of green salad leaves and tiny amount of pineapple. It costed £14. I felt ripped off. Never again.

We were served drinks by Bavan. He was the loveliest bartender along with his colleague. A fabulous young lady. We had the best night being served by them because of the vibes and pure hospitality.

What a great place to eat, comfortable and the food is great, good choice of food, had the fried chicken it was great, amazing building, its industrial looking but brilliantly set up inside, the staff are helpful and friendly, it's a great idea being given a pager so you can relax with a drink and the pager let's you know when your foods ready.

Excellent service from the bartender John Lamila! Recommended an excellent wine, we will definitely be back. Thanks for the excellent service.

Great spot, lots of variety of foods. Quite loud though and hard to have a conversation but appreciate that is the nature of the place.

A bit disappointing. Yes it is basically a food hall but feels a bit sticky and could be much better. Bar service is incredibly slow. And the better booth tables are mostly pre booked. Food was ok.

Just had dinner at Hot Box, not only does it have the best customer service it has the best vegan burger I have EVER had! I have not had one as amazing as this! Everytime I am in London I visit and I will continue to do so. Thank you for always making our visit enjoyable and always having the best customer service in London.

Great concept, but a little disappointed with the quality of the food from the vendors we chose. Hot box - the meat was cold and a little dry. Sexy buns- hassleback potatoes very small, poor value for money. Popcorn chicken from the Filipino stall was excellent. I’m no fan of Brewdog beer - over priced, mediocre taste . Should be using a London brewery!!

awful service and rude staff, i had to wait over 15 mins to be served to get glass prosecco then i went onto food outlet and got taco chips with guacomole - everything was stale and tasted old... the guacomole and was served tiny portion.. the man who served me was very rude and talked back at me and when i made a complaint he said it wasnt his problem!!!! terrible overall

I checked the tea price at the May restaurant price list displayed it said 2.99 when I went to pay the Indian girl told me 3.99, i paid by card. Didntget a receipt. When I check my statement she has charged 4.49... thisiswrong doing Make sure you get a receiptfrom this Malaysian restaurant.

Popped in for a quick bite on a Saturday just before noon. Place was really just getting going so very quiet, loads of choice and plenty of seats. Tried the Sexy Buns and Tacos and both excellent. Perfect venue for daytime snacks.

Cool place to eat and hang on. Many eateries to choose. Live music was a massive bonus! Love it. We went to Gopal Malaysian food. Food was great. Atmosphere was nice

It’s a great concept where there are many vendors and you can choose between them. This works perfectly with us having a baby as a restaurant would be too much! This place is very relaxed. We understand that this isn’t a family venue however we were disappointed that there were no highchairs and we couldn’t find any baby changing. It’s much more focused on upmarket workers popping in for lunch. We won’t visit again.

The food was really good and so was the atmosphere but I felt that it was very style over substance and that the prices were too high for what we were given. As well as that, some of the portion sizes weren't enough to explain how expensive the meal was and the food there was good, but didn't blow me away
