Best chippy in greenock half pizza crunch supper downed in gravy and salt and vinegar offa what a delight 👌

Chips are very dry and look like they have sat far too long need lots of salt and vinegar to taste good,the sausages are ok but was alot better not sure what has been changed also the prices are quite high.

foods great but think your Asian delivery drive need to be more careful looked like it was dropped out a plane. curry and gravy all over the place sausages supper in the plastic bag instead of the container still eat it lol still a great chippy

Very nice premises. Food served is really good. Did not wait long for order. Friendly staff. Great and really enjoyed the king rib suppers that we had. Great tasting fritters too.

I'm a fussy fussy person to please from takeaways,so tonight I decided just get me a chippy from down the street,well in my eyes it was amazing so fresh and hot lo Ed the whole lot cannot complain about a single chip

All the staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly.. nothing was too much trouble. All the food we ordered was lovely, fish especially had amazing batter, And it was very hot.. we will definitely be ordering from them again

Hello everyone hope you’re doing great.please read this till the end. I use to work in fisherman’s dock, gate of india which is 58 Captain St, Greenock PA15 4LQ and bar-d chippy 10 Moss Rd, Port Glasgow PA14 6HF all are for ami who’s from india. Actually he employed me on last summer and he sacked me with making a excuse and never paid me my 5 weeks wages he blocked me every where on his mobile and he told me if you come down i will smash your head. He also owned another people wages who’s mehdi and shon.

Just got fish supper with hard stale batter terrible, fish not fresh made and full of bones worst chip shop in Greenock.

Fab chippy , from traditional suppers to lovely fresh made pizzas , can't fault the place. The staff are efficient and super friendly , it's 5 stars from us

Good straight forward chip shop fare...freshly made and went down a treat.

I got a penne diavola and a mushroom pizza and both were stunning, pizza base could have been a little crisper but the tomato sauce on the base was probably the best in the Town, super tasty pizza and maybe 2 mins more would have been thee best I've had,, the diavola was also probably the best pasta I've had in the area and I've only gave 4 stars as I was supposed to get spaggetti rather than penne but let me tell you I forgot about it as soon as I tasted it, super tasty with a slight hint of chilli, aw man I will be going back here for more

Smallest portion of chips ive ever had,i could still taste the grease from the hamburger 1hr after i ate it,not a chippy i will be returning to...

Love this chippy. Chips cooked perfectly, unlike most chippies that taste almost raw. The gravy is amazing! The two you g ladies working were also very friendly. No. Complaints.

Wouldny even give it 1 star but had to leave a review somehow. First they got ma order wrong so foned to get it fixed, apparently fixing yur meal means reheating the deep fried pizza that I returned for a fresh on, littered in salt so the wain wouldn’t touch it cause he’s naw daft and knows salts bad for him, the pizza nearly took oot 3 of his teeth the chips wur like wee sharp shards of glass the whole meal was absolutely mingin only reason it’s been partially ate was the waiting times on both occasions for minging meals twice 🤢🤮 yu dnt get this fat from not trying some decent grub and at wiz just by far naw a decent bit a scran 🙌🏽

Good if you like fish. I hate fish. Stuff stored with, battered with and cooked with fish! Why don't we get chip shops that don't do fish. That would be great!

I'm going to be really truthful about this!! Me, my mum and my daughter ended up at The Grosvenor Chippy on Friday night by pure accident. The queues at our usual chippies were away up the street so we were just going home when my daughter remembered the QB chippy!! (The Grosvenor Chippy) I ordered a fish supper, sausage supper, pizza crunch supper, a hamburger and a king rib. Can I just tell the world how glad we were that we got the chance to taste their food!! Haven't had a better chippy in years..I swear!! The food was delicious 😋 Freshly made as I waited and the quality was superb 👌💯 Staff are lovely too. Chips were chunky and also fresh, no wee hard dried up bits in sight. Even my man was delighted with his food and we also enjoyed the gravy! We will DEFINITELY be coming here again as I truly believe we have found a wee gem 💎 We drove from Gourock to Port Glasgow and ended up at the QB because of the big queue's. Can I just say that we cannot recommend this Chippy enough and highly recommend that the people of Inverclyde give this place a try as I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed 😉 10/10 and definitely 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for all round excellence.

Brilliant service! Like how you can order & pay at the door during this Covid-19 lockdown Chips are not soggy & mushy like usual chippy chips! Which I hate! They have a slight crunch to them & I love them like that!

First chippy in years and will likely be years before the next. Chip's dry and very crispy. Not a very cost effective tea would get an Indian or Chinese for the same money. No such a saying as cheap as chips anymore 😂😂😂😂

Being self isolating since march .phoned order I for pick up .got home no gravy as ordered n paid for but worse to come DESPITE.having sign in window about masks served three people who weren't wearing them were served SHOCKING.the one star is for giving me right change
