Mario's Blue Grotto in Dundee City

Hi had a starter lamb and tandoori half chicken with sauce chip etc absolutely amazing 10 / 10 the best

I ordered a fish supper and my food tasted like rubber I chucked it in the bin straight away it was horrible

Compramos cenas de pescado, cenas de pudín blanco y guisantes blandos la otra noche y esperamos a lo largo del tiempo la comida que era terrible. La masa del pescado era suave y duro, las patatas fritas eran grasosas y pocas!Los guisantes blandos para nuestro asombro eran amargos, ¡sí amargos! Probablemente un día o dos demasiado viejo. No podría molestarse en llamar a la tienda, ya que vivimos un poco lejos y, de todas formas, nos desanimamos. Ah, y el pudín blanco tenía la misma masa masticable y estaba frío. ¡Casi toda la comida iba en la papelera! !Definitivamente no regresará ya que hay muchos, mucho mejores chippies alrededor.Comida terrible

Clean tidy shop, but a long wait for my fish and chips and the batter was not best, I've had better fisherwood suppers.

Extensive menu, friendly service and reasonable prices. It was good to have the opportunity to choose between the regular fish and chips and the small (but very generous) small portion. Really enjoyed the macaroni cheese and chips! Would definitely go back.

Every time we go to this chip-shop the food is always amazing. Never feel let down at all. The fish or sausage is what we usually get but everyone in our family highly recommend the fritters.

Agradable recuerdo en los últimos años de visitas regulares a Mario's en Brantwood Avenue; productos de primera clase especialmente el pescado y las patatas fritas y nunca me decepcionó. Probé el drive de Lawers Drive cuando se abrió y no me impresionó. Dio un segundo más recientemente y ninguna mejora. Harina de sabor en la pasta de pescado, no crujiente y un poco pasada. La mujer tenía pasteles de pescado sin sabor. No puedo criticar al personal, que fue eficiente y amable.

Always get excellent freshly cooked food from here! Anne-Marie and her daughter do a great job and are so friendly!

Go here now and again great chippy freshly made to order worth a visit. It's easy to find and right across the road from belltree premier inn so perfect if u don't fancy supper there. Also a co-op, chemist etc perfect all round

I honestly can't fault this place. Real big portions and the place is spotless. I'm from Arbroath and it's up there with the best of them.

La comida que recibimos en nuestra orden era muy sabrosa y estaba preparado a pedido cuando fuimos. Parecían estar bastante ocupado con una corriente constante de clientes cuando estábamos, pero la calidad no estaba comprometido y la orden fue correcta, que es algo que algunos de sus competidores con lucha! El tamaño de las porciones fueron muy generosos y el menú tenía todos los favoritos usuales. Las opciones más pequeñas porciones es una excelente idea para aquellos de nosotros que no pueden gestionar una porción y Odio desperdiciar comida, especialmente cuando se trata de un bien aquí.

Food was great and the staff are lovely!!! I'm fussy about eating out but this chip shop is immaculate and the food is clearly fresh and very good quality! Thank you will def be back.

My partner and i thought we would give this place a try and it was very clean and the staff were very polite and spoke to you while you was waiting for your order to be cooked

This was my second visit and worse than the first. Quite simply it was awful ... And I will not be going back. I don't know if they fry in cheap oil or have food lying about! But it tastes cheap and fatty. There are 2 other chip shops in the area The Seaway in Monifieth and Murrays in Broughty Ferry these are both far superior that the Blue Grotto.

This place is now fantastic and cannot be faulted. The quality is great and great sized portions. The shop is always immaculate and the staff are so friendly. Give it a go....you won't be disappointed!!!

This is one of the best Fish & Chip shops. Portion size is generous and the quality good. Proper fish and chips

Went there on Thursday night due to a recommendation from my friend. I have to say that's been the best fish and chips I've had in a while and defiantly will be back!

Been back loads of times now always satisfied with our food , good portion sizes , nice to see they have installed a tv so people don't miss the football ( hope it stays ) great friendly staff always a smile on there faces nice to see

Después de nuestros amigos recommendions fuimos para pescado y patatas fritas en Mario. Cuando pedimos que tomaron el pescado de la estantería y colocarla caliente volver a la frier.

Hemos visitado Blue Grotto Mario's Village en Panmurefield Broughty Ferry. El personal es siempre alegre y muy agradable. Pescado y patatas fritas son siempre frescos y deliciosos. Tienda es muy espaciosa y limpia, con asientos para relajarse mientras espera, sin duda vale la pena visitarlo!

Mal servicio, personal grosero, lento, realmente no es una gran experiencia. Millas detrás de la calidad de algunos chippers, podría lista una docena mejor alternativas en y en torno a Dundee. Evitar.

Sólo descubierto este lugar esta noche. abrieron el martes (hace dos días). Muy buena calidad pescado y patatas fritas muy bien cocinados. Helado variedad también en venta y asientos para sentarse y observar desde la ventana mientras Munch. El personal amable del patrimonio de Italia. Sin duda lo hacen un evento regular para llevar.
