Took ages for chips weird customers TBH lol...

The large fish suppers are delicious 😋. Two large fish in batter with lots of chips. You get a tub of coleslaw with the suppers. You can phone up, place your order then pick it up. Great service and reasonable priced

No point in placing any order. You will still have to wait on it being cooked when you pick up.

Awful. Big box, tiny portion of chips - which was actually a blessing because they were inedible anyway - cold, undercooked and rubbery. Both the special fish and normal fish were also poor. At £20 for two suppers this place is a rip-off when it’s such bad quality. It went in the bin - save your money and go elsewhere. It’s a shame because other Marinis elsewhere are good. We won’t be back near this one.

Food is ace, staff can be cranky at times. Love the ice cream

The ladies who served us were very miserable. The young man preparing our fish n chips, in contrast, wore a smile when we entered the shop.

I've never had a bad meal from this place. It's spotless, good service and the food is nice too.

Lovely special fish and chips really tasty and not dripping in grease like some places made fresh and chips just enough for 2 to share and single black pudding. Update went last night to pick up an order and was shocked to see they charged 15 p for a bag I don't usually take one but it was added without asking and really wish they would update prices online

Food great as always ,however girl serving was severely lacking in customer service clearly unhappy in job ,so leave and don't take it out on customers !

I paid 10 pounds for a fish supper they hid a dried up burnt piece of fish under neath a less than great piece of fish the chips were burnt on the edges x. It’s a total rip off they conned me avoid this chippy

Really cant complain about the food at all as it was fresh. But the attitude from the counter staff last Saturday 1/6/23 was absolutely disgusting!!! "huv ye been served yet" no. paying by card to which the staffs reply was "well yer standing there way yer phone how ma suppose to know" while giving me a dirty look... thats because I was paying with my phone like most folk these days. staff need to learn to speak to folk more politely when I wasn't rude to them. I certainly wont be back with the stinking attitude because of them and then polite to the next customer who was with me. Can understand why I got the attitude.

Ordered for collection over the phone was told it would be 15 minutes In shop for another 50 minutes waiting on it as my order clearly being ignored Don’t take orders over the phone if they’re not going to be ready and have to wait

Scampi was OK, but the chips were soggy sadly.

Would visit again, had to wait whilst order was cooked, well worth the wait.

Placed an order and when it arrived it was cold. Phoned to let them know and the man I spoke to said it wasn’t cold and she n I said it was he was extremely rude. Won’t be using Marini’s at the Calderwood again. Money wasted.

Got fish and was glad it was fantastic

Stopped off for food on our way home from a weekend away. Kids had pizza and chips and I had a fish supper. The food was tremendous. Fish is cooked fresh to order also which makes it all the better and the prices are really really good. There are 3 Marinis in East Kilbride so make sure it’s the one in lindsayfield road that you visit as this is by far the best of them all.

Phoned for a delivery, it arrived cold but the main issue was it was exceptionally poor quality and absolutely tasteless. We will never be using this establishment again. I would rather drink bin juice!!!!! It really is that bad!!

Can't fault for taste or price. In my opinion one of the best if not the best in the area.

Poor quality of customer service phoned up to put in an order for collection went in to collect it 15mins later and they hadnt set aside chips to go with order so they served 5 people then told me l had to wait on chips asked them why this was the case and her flippant answer was we dont really do collections so why not tell me that when i phoned up wasted my time and money shocking

We had scampi suppers and the food tasted great, the lady serving us was very polite and friendly as well.

Went to walk in for an order. Cash only apparently during a pandemic. Guy suggested going round to Morrisons to take cash out & come back to give him the money. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere. A business that's got either an online ordering system or a card machine for payment.

Food is always very nice......if you are fortunate enough to get it without having to repeat your order multiple times and are quick enough to prevent them giving it to someone else. Be prepared to wait for anything up to 20 minutes while they "wait on chips".

I have visited this fish and chip shop three times now and I wish I hadn't. Bought fish and chips yesterday, opened up the wrapper and the fish batter was so soggy it stuck to the paper and came off fish, absolutely disgusting.we picked at the fish and chips but I will not be back. I have gave them the benefit of the doubt three times now...there will not be a fourth

After a wee day out, we phoned through our order on our way home and picked it up when passing by. Pizza, king rib supper and curry sauce. Delicious!

The shop in Greenhills has now reopened after lockdown. We phoned an order last night and picked it up from the shop.There were 4 staff working side by side with no masks and only the counter between them and customers. There was no shield between staff and customers and the distance was only about 2 feet. Also customers were standing next to other customers which should not happen. It's a shame but I will not be back until they get this sorted to protect both staff and customers.

Lovely staff, honestly a great chippy to eat in theres always a smile on my face when i get their food, no complaints. I highly recommend trying this chippy as it's one of the best in the area with a good price for the fantastic quality.

To long wait for food to be prepared,fritters all batter no potato,fish fillet very thin.

Wouldn’t recommend. Staff are rude and it’s pricey. Avoid the fritters at all costs, they taste like rotten potatoes! Got a fritter out the display and it had clearly been placed on a roll prior to being sold to me.

passing by and fancy a fish supper wish i had just drove bye long quee expecting a good fish and chips payed first and waited came in a cardboard box went back to my car expecting a treat but the fish was swimming in grease took a bite and the fish slipped out of the batter rubbish threw it away don t wast your money go else ware

Chip shop states you recieve 2 black puddings with supper but you only get 1 and the black pudding is of a very poor quality very disappointing.

Our local chippy! They are currently running a half price offer on all pizzas which is a great saving for our big family! Delicious pizzas and means you can mix and match with the usual chippy items too for those (like me) who are not pizza mad like the rest of my family! Definitely worth a visit for a quick meal. We even phoned them and placed our order on the way home and it was ready to pick up by the time we got there. Great service.

Place is like a car wreck, amount of time spent to get a bag of chips is ridiculous. Walk in to a crowd of people waiting on their orders as well. 10 minutes just to get 1 bag of chips. Need to sort things out

Good clean and tasty not at all greasy.

As a fish and chip place it's good. However the pasta options on the menu leave a lot to be desired as they are pre packed and from best I can tell, l heated in the microwave. So if you want fish and chips then I'd recommend but if you're after pasta I'd advise somewhere else. Delivery times can be a bit on the longer side, we were waiting close to an hour and we live 5 minutes drive away. Perhaps we caught them at a busy time but I'd still advise collecting in person.

Marini's is a nice, clean and friendly local chippy. Perfectly good prices and the food is always good too. Not the healthiest, but then that's the whole idea 😋

ordered at 5.50 phoned marinis and they said was still in shop arrived at 8.05. food arrived cold wouldn’t recommend

Driver only left half the order. By the time he brought the rest of order it was cold as was the fish supper that the peas were for. Really disappointing.

Only ordered 2 bags of chips and they are the worst chips I've ever had totally inedible had to bin them wouldn't recommend using this chippy

Food was over cooked. I also assumed a kids burger would come with a roll and not covered in batter so this was binned. Overall felt disappointed with the meal.
