A must for pre-football food, and other times too. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and food which is cooked as ordered.

This is my go to cafe prior to every Crystal Palce home game and at other times when I am in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful with the chef and owner particularly so. They offer a good selection fo cafe style food at reasonable prices, and if you want things in a different combination or even a slight change they are happy to accommodate.

We have eaten at Margianas quite a few times in the last few months . My son recently moved to the area and it has become a favourite place for breakfast , Food always good and the staff are the friendliest I have found in London. Service is very quick and efficient .

I am honestly absolutely heart broken that this place is now open events only. This was my absolute favourite restaurant in Croydon (maybe my favourite anywhere!). The food was absolutely divine and the price more than fair for the quality of the food. Everything seemed so carefully put together. My partner and I have been having anniversary meals here for the past four years, and have been many times in between. Don't get me wrong, the food at the Fern is also very good, but it is not the same experience as Mr Fox. The tapas style small plates just don't feel as cozy as a full meal at Mr Fox did. I have yet to try Trickle. I have every faith the food there will be good too, but it seems more drinks orientated and the menu a bit more limited (which is fine, just not my vibe). I am going to miss the seasonal carefully curated meals and excellent times we had at Mr Fox. I only hope that it may reopen as a restaurant again some day!

I was invited to the delightful restaurant by my dear friend MS. The food was freshly prepared, with good sized portions, and served with crispy salad and a selection of sauces. We had cod and chips, mushroom omelette and apple crumble w custard, washed down with a bottle of Blush. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. This is a very comfortable place with a menu which was extensive and of good value. Who needs to travel to Central London when we have this gem in South London? The desserts were delicious, and there was a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages too. I will definitely go again. Run, don't walk.
