Such a lovely evening out , we had the whole place to ourselves and the service , food and staff were excellent. Can not wait to go back !

Had lunch at this lovely deli yesterday on the recommendation of some friends. Had a great meal and all home made things on the menu. Very reasonable prices and great service. Thoroughly recommended. No parking but a side road only 50 yards away is fine

Fantastic place for a takeaway lunch. The homemade moussaka, tzatziki and humous dips and fresh salad were absolutely delicious and, along with the friendly and efficient service made our day! The coffee is the best in the area too! Thanks Mardley Hill Deli - we will be back!

I’ve visited several times for lunch both with friends and my partner, and also for a Friday night celebration with another couple. Each time the welcome has been warm, the coffee has been delicious, and the food has been exceptional. Many thanks to Charlie, Hazel and Ella for a fantastic personal touch that makes all the difference. Coffee here will now be my personal treat on a regular basis!

Have had lunch here and the moussaka was very good, so decided we would visit for one on their weekend Cypriot mezze evenings. There were 5 of us, all with very healthy appetites! Hospitality was exceptional; a friendly welcome, just the right amount of information about the dishes and a lovely atmosphere. The music was great! The food was spot on. Traditional dips that you don’t normally get, even in Cyprus! Tasty oregano potatoes and the best moussaka. We all came away totally stuffed having had a lovely evening. I didn’t let on that I’m Cypriot and normally when we go to Greek restaurants we come away saying that I make it so much better, not this time. It’s not a quick meal, when you go factor that in. It’s beautifully relaxed giving you time to enjoy the food and the company. We spent 3 hours there! They are not licensed so bring your own booze. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely welcoming little boutique restaurant/coffee shop/deli with the recent addition of some outdoor space. Food is always fresh and delicious along with the friendly welcome and amazing coffee . If you're out for a walk in the in the local countryside there's no better place to have a stop!

This little gem of a place nearby has been trading in its current form for just about six months. It’s great for a business catch up, couples, relatives, friends and solo! Eat in or take away breakfast pastries, lunch, sweet treats or some evening meze at the weekend. The welcome is unsurpassed, the coffee too and the food is fabulous. They work miracles from a smallish but fully flexible space and have just invested in an outside area to increase their covers. Charlie, his Partner Hazel and helper Ella are such a great team with such positivity and ‘if we can we will’ attitude which is so refreshing. Have had many a happy hour there with friends and relatives; if you pop in by yourself there’s always a friendly welcome. I love it when you come across a small business working hard and ticking all of the boxes. I am so enjoying seeing their journey, they deserve every success coming their way!

Fantastic food, very friendly. Great find. Not easy to park nearby but worth a short walk. Amazing spinach and feta pie .

This is how you look after customers. Owner was very welcoming and engaging, chatted with my daughter about her milkshake, great homemade food and attention to detail. He has most likely turned me into a regular with just one visit. Strongly recommended if you like a place where you are not just an order being processed.

What an absolute treat! Gorgeous food and great hosts. We will be back! Wonderful ingredients and authentic food presented in an intimate setting, where the hosts could not do more to make us feel at home.

An excellent meze meal at a local deli. Very generous portions for superb value. Charlie and Hazel create a wonderful atmosphere and even better food! A real Greek experience in a small Hertfordshire village. A must experience for locals and visitors alike. Will definitely be returning soon! Lovely choice of deli products to take away too.
