EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I order from here, it takes almost 2 hours to get here. Even if it's a simple order like chips and a drink.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from racist immigrant 🤔, do no t use this shop !!!

took about 10 mins to order even though it was dead. after 15 mins my pizza wasn't ready. had to go to the counter only to be told they burnt it to a crisp. my friends garlic bread had been sitting ready behind the counter for 10 mins and received it cold. they offered to give me my burnt pizza with a free can of juice which is ridiculous. they made me a new pizza but were very rude and i told them they had terrible service and they told me to get out (i wasn't drunk). never coming back. they are also weirdly flirty with girls.

Ordered 10 pieces spicy chicken and chips from here, chicken was not at all spicy and cooked. Won't recommend this place

Staff could be a lot nicer and communicative to be honest. Also screwed up big time serving me a(n incorrect) pizza I should've checked before returning home after a night out.

Absolute shambles took over ages to come and also gave me a doner roll with a burger and sauce slapped on top when I asked for a cheese burger would not recommend 😳

Absolutely horrendous ! I went in last night ordered chips: cheese, Donner, sauce £7.50 ! Portion small, wasn’t hot, just complete and utter rubbish waste of money, nobody in the place , no wonder . Do not go here avoid like the plague .

Woeful. Had gone once before and food was dreadful, so one more chance there. Chicken shawarma, more bones to chew on and no flavour. Nice that they use chicken thighs though as it should be, but that couldn’t save the abrupt staff, cash only or machine round the corner attitude.

Without doubt the worst food I have ever had in my entire life!! It’s that bad I’m having nightmares about it. Never actually been so close to having anorexia after that disgrace of a meal. How is tiny, slimy, chopped up chicken carcass classed as a mixed kebab? I swear I thought they had cleaned the chicken station and put it in my box. What a bloody disgrace- even Jeffrey Dahmer couldn’t have ate that and he was hardly a picky eater! Someone else’s review said chicken isn’t cooked and I agree- it’s barely even chicken that a human would consume. I know this reads as a joke but it’s not. Only that takeaway is the joke here! Avoid here at all costs and get the food hygiene standards involved.

Watched him make two pizzas ahead of me - chewing bubble gum, and blowing bubbles as he made the pizzas, then took meat from the container and sniffed it before adding it to the pizzas. I didn't order. Basic food hygiene is lacking.

Very unhappy with my order, went in one night, and ordered doner meat and chips. The chips were either fried in old oil or fried multiple times, the doner was definately kept in a tub quite a while, and it definately wasn’t the doner they had on, also a couple weeks ago me and my friend ordered a delivery that we never got and when we ohoned multiple times, no one anwsered. Stuff were friendly though.

Order from Marco Polo all the time sometimes delivery's are slow but food is good and can't beat there milkshakes haha 😆 would recommend 👌

Ordered at 3:20 am arrived at 4:50 it was late so I couldn’t argue but the chips were burnt to crisp kebab was colder than the ice berg that titanic hit very very disappointing

Not the best takeaway. Most of the time the chicken is raw and is not cooked properly. The shop survives on the drunkards whose taste buds can't differentiate between the raw and properly cooked chicken. The takeaway is cash only and you can't pay by card. The only good thing is the milkshakes and the ice creams which are thick and tasty and the customer service is also fine.

The mIlkshakes in Marcopolo are the Best in town!! Must try it without the fresh cream on top and its just superb... it is thick and tastes authentic.

Well wasn't this fun well the sorbet and the gateau didn't arrive we phone the store only to be told that the whole order went out with the driver so they are either putting iced products in a hot bag or the drivers are helping themselves and also to be sworn at down the phone when it's your customer service that is a shambles and it's only a Monday night no students or big nights out to make such a simple mistake I'd say do better but ha place is a joke

Need a lower score that for these amateurs. Ordered through just eat at 6:30pm, deliver time 1 hour. 7:50pm phoned and guy said he was just on, sorting out drivers just now, give him a chance to sort out. Phone back at 8:07pm and the guy bare faced lied to me and said the food has already left. Phoned again at 8:30pm, 2 hours after ordering and they are refusing to answer the phone, been ringing constantly for 30 mins now. Asked just eat for a refund and even just eat said "it's on the way and will be there at 9". Aye sure. Bunch of robbing chancers. DONT RUIN YOUR NIGHT **AVOID**

Ordered 2 milkshakes through just eat, it said that they would be delivered within an hour.... More than 2 hours later, it hasn't arrived, can't get through on the phone, and now have to try and get a refund. Not worth the effort, go somewhere else and save the hassle. If these guys cared about their business they would look at the reviews and try to change this.

Been waiting almost 2 hours for 2 milkshakes, tried phoning them to find out if we were even getting our order but gave up after the 6th attempt at no one picking up. Just hoping it comes soon cause we want to sleep :( Not worth it for the time it’s taking to get here, just don’t bother ordering from here..

It's the only place open super late but expect your order to be at least an hour late and with at least one thing wrong or missing. The chicken is sometimes good but a lot of the time everything is terrible. Just wait for McDonalds to open.

Ordered food and asked them not ring doorbell and call on yhr number given instead, nothing, and I check just eat and it days food delivered even though the food is nowhere to be found? Went downstairs to go look for a potentially misplaced package but nothing in the vicinity.

Actually terrible service. They don’t pick Up the phone. They rely on drunk people to order there… the staff are impatient and rude. The delivery takes longer than predicted times (over an hour) …. Food is extortionate for what you get! Would rather eat leftovers than attempt to order from this establishment again! They should be ashamed!!!! The cheek of this place to tell me my food is coming soon! And it arrived and it tasted terrible! I hope you read my review and never order there again! They didnt t make my call at 3 am at weekend and also took my money for delivery yet never delivered.

Ordered at 11.30 a pizza and some chicken. Said it would be here by 12.50am latest. It didn't get here till 2.10am by which point we had gone to bed pretty angry. Called the place over 10 times but the phone just rang out so we ended up assuming they wernt open. Heard the buzzer go but by that point we didn't want the food, we wanted to sleep. Going to have to go down to the take away and ask for a refund tonight. Stay clear of this crap take away.

Rude staff!! Placed an order for delivery and it will take 2 hours to deliver it, yet it took me an hour to even get through to them on the phone!! By the time I finally did, the staff on the other end kept attempting to end the call without giving me an opportunity to talk!! Doubt my food will even be delivered tonight for my family, on Christmas - I’ll have to go through a lengthy process for a refund now, my mistake for ordering from a place with so many negative reviews.

Chicken wings were absolutely dead. No flavour, dry, way below average. If a place like this sold wings like that in London it would get so little business that it would be forced to shut down. Embarrassment to chicken shops all over the country. Will never go there again.

I ate here a few times with my friends and some of them got food poisoning (including me) more than once. It's definitely not a coincidence. Now we avoid it because there are plenty of places better than this for a kebab or a pizza. Plus, they just accept cash and no cards, which I really don't understand.

Chicken Fillet Burger not a fillet

Unfortunately, as a student ate here a lot after a night out and the food was always rotten with the main worker making sexual comments to my friends and I.. After graduating came back after a late work shift as I was starving and got Donner and chips. 20 mins after finishing I was violently sick and have never gone back or eaten meat since. Honestly, the place is filthy and I hope they don't open back up anytime soon.

I always order from here for the icecream but tonight I ordered toffee and strawberry couldn’t see any toffee and the strawberry wasn’t strawberry tasted like bubble gum which I hate also would like too add I found a Short dark hair in my ice cream. My hair is red it is not my hair and the milkshake just tastes off will not be buying again used too order this every night aswell🙄

Just got a chicken burger from here and it was genuinely raw inside, chips half cooked and mayo seemed off. Everything went straight in the bin. Horrendous.

Ordered Chips, cheese and doner. Food left the takeaway @2:40AM, but didn’t reach my house until 3:35AM. Doner was luke-warm and the chips were freezing. I also found a bit of plastic in the cheese.... Never eating from this place again. AVOID AT YOUR ALL COST.

Food was bang on time but horrendously cold. We received a text 10 mins after ordering and the food didn’t appear until an hour later. Man said “no your food isn’t cold”. To then say he will send more food out the next day and ask for his cold food back. Are they for real?

I decided one night to phone in a takeaway from the Marco Polo Takeaway. I got a fried fillet chicken burger which was very good but they need to make the chicken taste better next time. The Pepsi which also ordered was okay as well. This place is not as bad as I originally thought considering most of the bad reviews here. I might come back in the near future.

Can't comment on the food as such but would like to congratulate the staff on a wonderful display of generosity on behalf of the hotel I work for. Absolutely first class.

Amazing kebab meat. Cheesy chips ar3 good, don't add more cheese they really don't need it. Deffo is mozeralla added. Kebab meat has a bit of grisel, not enough to be concerned about tbf. Fast and neatly wrapped 😊

Went last night after a night out here. The cheesy chips were really nice, kebab meat was too aside from the gristle however, the kebab meat served looked to be out of a bucket rather than fresh!

I was confronted by an agressive staff member to dictate my order. Of the limited available dishes, with regrets I chose the most favourable option from the staff's perspective, after minutes of harassment. My order was greeted with hostility. However, it was the sheer incompetence to provide edible food that ruined my customer experience. I would not recommend this service to anybody. Avoid at all costs.

Pizzas are probably the easiest things to make and make well. Their ability to create pizzas that are so terrible that they’re seriously inedible must take real talent. Well done.

Ordered some chicken with chips and curry sauce on the 2nd Aug. I was working night shift, and this place is available to deliver until 5am - great. Food ordered at 00.30. Estimated time of delivery 01.55 (What?!). 02.15 - no sign of the food so request an update. "Apologies, the restaurant is busy" (yeah, right). Food arrived at 03.00. Horrendous quality. Chicken was extremely dry to the point of being inedible, and the curry sauce had just soaked into the chips and dried on top of them (as pictured). Unfortunately I was hungry enough to order from here without checking the reviews. Don't waste your money. You'll be better off going hungry.

We paid almost £20 for a small pizza and a chicken shawarma kebab, the pizza was very undercooked (still white crust) with little to no sauce base, the kebab was made using meat from a hot plate, likely from the day before as the new rotisserie was still raw. The staff were passive and, when I asked about the shawarma, I was ignored twice. After barely touching our tasteless food, we threw it away. Do not go to Marco Polo, it is expensive and tasteless.

We ordered food online from marco polo. It arrived two hours after we ordered it and by that time my friends had left. Iwas left with £32 worth of food that was disgusting, the chips and garlic bread tasted reheated and the cheese was horrible. They have a huge range of milkshakes with lots of different flavours but when ours arrived the all tasted the same but vanilla. To top this horrendous experience of there was a hair in the chips. When we complained on the phone the staff were not helpful and did not seem to care whatsoever. Awful.

Chicken was about as good as eating fried carpet.

Went there to get food . Handed £5 and Ordered chips&cheese; which was around three pound something and they said I didn't give them £5 note when I asked them for change. Bunch of frauds.

Seriously please never ever eat here unless it's 3am. Once upon a time the food was good but now uness you are ordering chips or a plain pizza you will not have an enjoyable experience. For example the doner is gritty with bits you can't chew though among other things. I currently have food poisoning thanks to marco polo and will definitely never be back. You have been warned.

Standard food, overpriced and slow delivery ,, £1.20 for a tin of irnbru. Half frozen chips and hour and half for delivery(I stay 5minutes from there shop). Wish I hadn't of bothered. Only reason ordered was because all other takeaways was shut :(

¡Nunca he tenido una experiencia tan horrible con un restaurante! Deje una nota en la entrega para que el conductor llame a mi móvil, ya que no habría otra manera de ingresar al edificio. Después de que pasara el tiempo de entrega, me puse en contacto con el restaurante para preguntar si un hombre muy grosero nos contaría nuestra comida que el conductor ya había intentado entregar la comida después de haber dicho que llamó a la puerta e incluso llamó a mi teléfono móvil con ambas caras. el edificio tiene un sistema de timbre bloqueado y mi móvil no recibió llamadas. Después de ofrecerme si quería que me trajeran la comida, pedí que estuviera fresca porque sabía que simplemente la enviarían de nuevo en frío, esto provocó que el individuo me gritara en un idioma extranjero (no tengo idea de lo que dijo) y luego lo colgaron. ¡arriba! Inmediatamente le devolví la llamada y el mismo individuo pasó el teléfono a lo que asumí que era el gerente, que también era extremadamente grosero y agresivo con el teléfono. 30 minutos más tarde, la comida aparentemente "fresca" llegó a ser entregada por un conductor de entrega con un aspecto muy culpable (ni siquiera me miraba, solo tenía a su muerto y corrió escaleras abajo). La comida estaba fría y de muy mala calidad, lo único positivo que puedo dar es que el batido de leche estaba delicioso. Me he contactado con Just Eat informando sobre este establecimiento y le recomendaría a cualquier otra persona que haya sufrido lo mismo que yo que también lo haga.

Always enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat here, especially on the road home after a night out. Hard working staff, honest and straightforward with you, some people conceive that as being rude, but I personally find it very efficient and a good ground to have some banter with them

We ordered at margarita pizza with chips and popcorn chicken. However we did not revive the chicken, apon question the restaurant hung up on us and acused us of drinking and that is apparently why they could not understand the problem. However this was not the case and was very offensive. We then called them back with the order number and they still proceeded to tell us we did not purchase the chicken which has been charged for. This is not acceptable and the restaurant was not even apologetic. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES. customer service is obismul.

Primero. . . Pedí envoltura de pollo pero no vi ninguna envoltura allí! Era solo una pequeña cosa llamada "envoltura" que estaba debajo de la pila de pollo hervido, que en un 80% era piel. . . ¡y la pizza de pollo tandoori tenía el sabor de la pizza congelada más barata! Pedí kebabs mixtos con pan extra pero nunca me dieron el pan. . . ¡El repartidor llegó a tiempo, lo único bueno! Nunca volveré a pedir de este lugar, ¡fue repugnante!

Food is expensive (gone up in price recently) and not the best quality. I've seen staff handle ingredients with bare hands (chips, cheese etc.). However portion sizes are good for some meals. Milkshakes are alright. Overall if you're in dire need for food, on a night out, it would be alright.

Reviews are pretty honest to be fair

Dry chicken, soggy starchy chips, flappy, rubbery burgers, wilted lettuce, cold chips and cheese with bland curry sauce. There was literally not one thing that was edible and we spent over £30. So so disappointed but was the only place open at that time. Next time will go to 24hour Tesco and grab a ready meal.

Terrible. Ordered today and asked for a salad and didnt get anything and the bun is wet and its not cooked well.
