Sizzler in Dundee City

Food was very good (great price too), and the owner was super friendly!

Regular customer of sizzlers for many years now. A go-to place with friends and family. The place is no 5-star restaurant but there's ample seating. Boss is also a friendly man and will give u his recommendations. Personally like their Lamb Karahi and Biryani. Will definitely be back again!

Such a bad experience. Place looks so run down you would think its not serving anything. Needs alot of improvement before I will ever go again

So tasty food . Having lunch now .. budget friendly .. Staff is so humble. Had chicken biryani and chicken tikka like indian food.

This was the worst experience ever! The bengali guy was so rude, he was harrassing me over the phone and he even swore at my father!! I was trying to make an order and he kept on passing the phone to the delivery driver and disconnected the calls many times! Charging me extra 3 pounds for delivery when I'd already been charged for delivery through ubereats! He is a disgusting man, he doesn't have any intellect, doesn't know how to speak to his customers! The delivery driver's excuses for the bengali guys was "because they have so many orders." Unbelievable! I'm never going to waste my time or money ordering from here again.

The location is basic but clean, with excellent Asian food that tastes home-cooked (a little spicy).

Orders take time. Place is not very hygienic for dine in. Food is delicious though. Pizzas are value for money. Definitely the best curry in dundee and very authentic. I have lived in pakistan and been to india as well so i can vouch for the taste. The naans are very expensive though. Best Biryaani tried in the whole uk so far. Good for take out. Delivery charges are too high.

Como otros han dicho, la comida para llevar no está donde la imaginarías con grandes luces y menú afuera, dentro de un salón comunitario en la planta baja. La comida era muy buena, nans son enormes para 2. Definitivamente el mejor curry en Dundee.

Fantastic for curries and pizza. Freshly made to order and just like Indian street food. Must be the best place for a curry in Dundee. Also pizza's with base made in-house, fantastic.

I just wish they kept the same chef. Always changing staff. Sometimes great chef other times not. Depends summer time is usually better.

Have been going to sizzlers since it opened some years ago. Not your typical takeaway- this place has proper authentic curries. You can get the usual kormas and tikkas BUT they have a 'homestyle''/chef's special curry that has melt in your mouth, tender lamb or chicken that has been cooked in a spicy, tantalising sauce! Their peri-peri chicken is excellent, soft and juicy. Pizzas are decent as are their burgers. Their biryani ranges between truly awesome and meh- a risk sometimes worth taking? Not great for sit-in-dining but the staff are friendly and if you are a student you get 10% off. Will continue to be a regular!

Sucedió a entrar aquí para un poco para comer, pero no dejes que la decoración te desanime, la comida es estupenda. Hay muchos jóvenes sentados en y comer, así como ordenar y llevar. Usted puede elegir entre una selección de hamburguesas, pizzas y curry. Buen gusto y con buena relación calidad-precio.

It's not the best place when it comes to the sitting-area but would recommend it for home-style desi food. The prices are very reasonable and the portions arw good too. Would recommend it because it's good value for money!

El servicio era un poco lento y probamos la pizza grande para dos que era sosa. Muy barato ningún tipo extras de lugar dirigido a estudiantes creo. Vale la pena probarlo

Muy buen servicio y el ambiente interior es genial. Puede ser más ordenado y atractivo en el exterior. Necesita más publicidad para una comida tan buena y la relación calidad-precio. Gran conjunta para los jóvenes. Comidas asequibles para estudiantes. Lo recomendaría para alquilar una pequeña fiesta con la comida caliente y fresco.

Don't even have words for how good the food is here. For people complaining about the decor, I would say that this is an extremely superficial judgement which neglects the superior quality of food and friendliness of staff offered here. And for the prices, portions are incredible, and did I mention how amazing the food is!? I have been with family for a sit-down, as well as in passing for a takeaway... chicken roast, curries, naan breads, everything I've tried has been super authentic i.e. not 'dumbed down' like some south asian diners - which is fair enough when you're looking to please a diverse crowd, but if you're looking for authenticity, this is the place to go. Loved it!

La comida para el precio que pagas es inigualable en Dundee. La parrilla fuerte y pollo grill eran deliciosos. Sin duda recomiendo probarlo. descuentos para estudiantes. Una recomendación es pedir por teléfono antes de llegar - de lo contrario prepárate para esperar un muy incómoda.

Yo fui invitado a este restaurante por un amigo que decía que era uno de los mejores que ha tenido. Así que vestido - elegante casual - gran error! mesa llegamos a encontrar un centro de la comunidad local y estilo básico de escuela y sillas. El tipo de gente que se adapta mejor a la redacción, los inmigrantes y los conductores de taxi.

Had a grill box from here and have to say that are the best that I have tried in Dundee. Only issue is the massive wait but as busy and because grilled is expected, thus would recommend to phone an order in beforehand. But good quality food is great. Has opened up again recently after being closed for a while.

The burger and chips are unlike any other in dundee! I go there regularly as the prices are VERY cheap! Try it if you want nice fast food

Delicious food, hot, quick and good value. Tasty fast AND value... Killer combo. Not often found in my experience. The place is not much to look at, and tables are a bit cheap. But if it's like that and still busy, I go in. :)

I have visited Sizzlers three times now and strongly advise you visit . The food is outstanding with something to suit every palate . My son loves the pizza and says it is the best he has ever eaten . The prices are fantastic , as is the service . The manager , Abdul Khaliq Spingher , is charming , as is Shak , another member of the team . We have always received a warm welcome and look forward to our next visit . A gem of a place .

About time Dundee had good steak house. Grilled food is delicious, so are the curries. HUGE variety in every department. Milkshakes are also amazing Has around 20 different flavours - ferrero roche, lindt, mars bounty etc. Great service also. staff are friendly and quick service. Loved it.

Food and service is prompt! The lamb chops are by far the best! Strongly recommend this place!
