Mann Cafe in Antrim

ordered a sliced chicken supper as part of our order but got chicken goujons instead 😔

delivery on time, hot and delicious 😋

The food was lovely but there was a mix up and we got a cheesey chip instead of a gravy

only 10 minutes late but was imformed about late delievery

Chips were all over done and couldn’t eat they were that burnt

Order was wrong, the food that did come was burnt but cold and after trying to get through to Mannys to sort, they didn’t answer from 5:20 to 6pm. Just gave up. Friday night dinner ruined!

I ordered a chicken burger and was given a beef burger with bacon and cheese and garlic mayo, tried phoning them a few times but no answer so have requested a refund for the burger, first time ever having a problem with my order with mannys

This was my first time ordering from Mannys. It was easy to order and arrived half an hour early. The quality was very good, warm tasty and well cooked. I will certainly be ordering again soon.

Felt like I placed the order and then they were at my door. Took maybe 10 minutes. Even if it was a slow night that was seriously impressive.

Worth remembering that this cafe was revamped with a new team in the last year or so, I think. With that in mind, I give it an easy five stars for a number of reasons. That score is based purely on my visit where I had a coffee and bun. On entering the cafe, I was greeted by two really nice members of staff, who were both helpful and pleasant. The food display was, as always, very impressive with an excellent selection of tray bakes and hot food of a very decent quality. The coffee was excellent and the snowball bun was fresh and delicious. This place is a bit of a hidden gem and one where I go after a walk in the Castle Grounds, etc.

One of the few cafes open until 4.30 pm on a Saturday. Arrived at 3.00 pm and, although no hot food was being served, we had noodle bowls. Very tasty. However, most impressive was the staff, who took great pride and attention to detail in cleaning the cafe … it was weirdly hypnotic!!! Every surface was cleaned to perfection. I could have eaten off the floor.

Food was piping ht. Fish beautiful, burger beautiful. Chips not as good as usual but still enjoyable

The fry was cooked well although not value for money. Much too expensive for what it is...if I come back it will only be for coffee and scone. Their display of traybakes looked fab.!

Fish Suppers were great 👍 not a lot of salt of vinegar or no option to choose, wee battered potato bites which were "free" were lovely 🙂

Had requested food delivered for a certain time but came 35 minutes early meaning noone was home to eat it. Has to collect local chippy on way home instead.

Chicken burger: I have not until date consciously ordered repeatedly from a place, because not memorable. Ordered from Manny's repeatedly over last couple of weeks due to both quality and service. I'm not able to get own or make own food. They are also excellent value given our current difficulties. A very worthy 4 stars... possibly 5.

Food was awful. Money down the drain. Chips were anemic, cold and covered in black bits. Chicken goujons were soggy with grease. Fit for the bin.

The chips where not edible they where dried out so bad that you would break your teeth as was the chicken got chips at start of August and they where lovely so much so I had them 3 nights that week hopefully you can go back to hoe they where prepared and cooked

Couldn't believe how quick they were. Hotdog wad super, pity chips were old and cold. Over crispy. The bottom on the tray. Know my stuff, as have been in catering before. Pity someone dropped the ball.

Food was not of the usual Manny standard. Fish supper was just full of grease, you could actually see it sitting on the battered fish. Chips were totally full of grease. Will not be using Mannys again . Food was awful

Forgot a burger but as soon as I asked the driver was there another bag he offered to go and get it. I told him no it was to far out of the way never worry. 20ish mins later he arrived back with it. I wouldn’t have complained over something silly like that as the food was top quality. Brilliant service will definitely be my go to chippy from now on! Thank you

Food was early but was freezing when it arrived! We ordered a cheeseburger, cheesy chip and a chicken goujons meal. The burger was like eating cardboard, my dog wouldn’t even eat it, there was one big clump of cheese on the chips and none on the rest and the goujon meal was a third of the portion we usually get, it was full of small, crispy chips. We are loyal customers but we will be finding somewhere else after tonight.

Called here this morning with friends for a coffee. I ordered a flat white as i like my coffee strong. I could honestly have been drinking a cup of watery milk it was so tasteless and lacked any flavour of coffee. I said to the young waitress and pointed out the pale liquid but she just looked at me and made no comment so I was left with an awful cup of coffee which to be honest wasnt worth 30p never mind the £3 + it cost! Worst coffee ive had in a long time!

Soggy batter on chicken strips and fish. Curry lumpy and cold batter hadn't been cooked long enough it was gooey inside and.when I was putting the fish out it all fell to pieces it was that soggy

All Food was cold. Burger meat was hard so much so that my 10yr old didnt eat it. Jumbo hot dog was 2 normal sausage sliced....disappointing

I'm a nightmare customer, I always leave several notes for the restaurant never a straight forward order with me and they always get it right. Mannys is the best 👌 perfect food everytime and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Very affordable and tastes great.

Couldn't even eat it, had to throw burgers out, tasted like it was off. Ordered 2 bts of coke sent 2 tins. Won't be ordering again.

The cheeseburger was stinking. Burger was thin and over cooked and tasted funny. Almost as if it had been cooked yesterday and reheated for my burger. The peppered chip was beautiful as was the chicken burger and our sons chicken goujon meal. Just such a shame about the burger as I was so looking forward to it. One bite and it hit the bin 😢.

So delicious! Ordered cheese chip and goujon meal. Chips arrived hot and cooked excellently and the right amount of cheese Goujons was class, love that batter. New go to chippy!

I really don't quite understand why, when I ask for lots of salt and vinegar, they put nothing on it at all. Completely plain. It reminds me of asking mcds for ketchup, and they act like it's coming out of their own wages. If there an option to pay for extra salt and vinegar, I'd have selected it but there isn't. This isn't the first time this has happened either.

Kids meal filled me and the child, gravy Is perfect. Need to extend meal deals etc.

Manny’s fish goujon supper is the best in Newtownabbey and North Belfast by an order of magnitude.

Overall quality was poor. Pasties were hard and the chips were dry and hard. Will be a while before I use Manny's again.
