I'm celiac and I really enjoyed it!! The food was very good. Too bad we were heading home today and I don't have Baan Thai nearby.

Food is ok. Have good vegan options. Staff member was quite rude and argued with me over the phone about their incorrect allergen notices and food had hair in it but other than that fine.

The 1st time having food from Baan Thai, we came the whole way from Ballymena to try their food and it was yummy we will definitely be back.

We ordered on 14/2 for a takeaway order. We got the munch box. Was told on the phone it would be a 45 minute wait so we arrived at 8pm. Food was all threw into a pizza box! Was cold! Very small portions too. We ordered two portions of chicken and were pretty sure we only got salt n chilli chicken, couldn’t find one bit of smoked chicken in there. Ordered salt and chilli ribs and got BBQ. Portions are incredibly small for a munch box with 7 items in it, you would really expect better! Definitely will not be back! Much better take away and munch box options in Antrim!

Ordered honey chilli chicken, chips and banana fritter, chicken was swimming in and extremely thin unpleasant tasting sauce, chips were okay and only half an undercooked banana in the fritter portion with next to no syrup, won’t be back in a hurry!

Early bird menu , £14 for 2 courses , £15 for 3 And it was an fabulous 2 visits and both outstanding - well done I can thoroughly recommend the red or green Thai curry it’s delicious

Absolutely amazing food ! we went in for a late dinner on a sunday night at 9pm. They were so accommodating and kind and the food was sensational !

This was a surprise to me, as friends had booked it or I’d never have been otherwise. Service was brilliant and the food was amazing. I’ve not had proper satay chicken like this in ages. Our host Jad I think her name was, could have adjusted your chosen dish to your preference and advised on heat and spice content. Will definitely be back

Travel quite some distance to sample the great dishes on offer. I have to reccommend the tom kay kai as a starter. The most flavourful of soup you will ever have. Please follow the instructions "do not slurp" it can catch your taste buds. I worry about the negative reviews on here and hope its not emanating from outlets in the town.

Frozen chips, waited 1hour 20mins, one main course brought out, 5mins later side, 10mins later sauce. Waited and other main never arrived. Poor attitude from manager when asked for main course. Just then cancelled meal as waited so long. Asked 3 different staff for takeout dish. Appalling attitude from managers and little to no apology for missed meal. Kids meals processed junk. Dirty and cold food for what was served. Would never eat here again. Appalling.

Our usual takeaway was closed, we knew this would mean this place would be busy. We rang at 7.11pm to ask to collect an order for 7.45pm. We were advised that it was taking 45 minutes , so we said 8.00pm. Arrived at 8.00pm. Left with my food at 8.45pm. If you aren’t cooking the food until people arrive, WARN THEM and give them the option to pay over the phone to avoid this delay!! It’s ridiculous service! If this isn’t the case, it’s shocking to think the food takes 90 minutes to prepare. I had relatives waiting at my house for their food. Pad Thai was anaemic and dry, sauces were gloopy, and the food wasn’t even very warm!! Very poor! Will not be back.

I was recommended this restaurant. And I'm sorry I listened to the recommender. The only positive I can give is that we arrived 15 minutes early and we were allowed to take our table.. we we're presented with a basket of prawn crackers almost immediately. Then we had to wait at least 30 minutes before any staff came back to us, And this was because I called them and said we were ready to order. I had BBQ Ribs. And my wife had the fishcakes. The sauce on the ribs was the worst I have ever tasted and my wife ate half a fish cake and left the rest.. Then when it come to ordering the main course my wife asked for the mixed fish salad and was told she would have to wait a while so she decided to have steak instead. I had beef ginger and the best taste in it was the ginger. 100% I will never eat here again without doubt the worst Asian meal I have ever had.

In here for dinner the other night. Ordered a White Russian to be sent this half empty glass of milk. Took nearly 20 minutes for us to get served and then I had asked to have my White Russian returned as I wasn’t paying £6,50 for a half full glass of juice to which the waitress decided to instead argue with me and insist that this is how they are made and this is how they should look. Ordering plenty of White Russians from restaurants in my lifetime I’ve never been handed anything as half arsed as I was in this restaurant. Food was average and really far from the £25 spent for our meals. Won’t be back unfortunately

Don’t go on a Saturday night. Ordered two things. Food took an hour and a half when told it would be 40 mins.

there was a very long time to wait for my drinks and they sent me the wring drink and there was debris in my food

absolutely disgusted and feel violated from my recent visit, i ordered a side of chicken fried rice when i took my sister for a treat only to find spit and hair hiding under a few layers of rice, don’t recommend, never coming back and the chicken balls are extremely greasy and half raw doubt its real meat

I couldn't recommend here enough, fantastic food and such helpful staff. The atmosphere is always inviting and cheerful. This is our new guilty pleasure at the weekend, either takeaway or sit in.

Has been in one form or the other one of the oldest Thai/Chinese restaurants in Antrim.. Great staff and good food.

This has become the new usual takeaway option for me, best value in terms of price / flavour in Antrim. Recently saw them slammed on a Saturday evening and they done well to cater to the customers they had and those they had to unfortunately turn away. Staff are brilliant. Décor could be updated, but sure that's everywhere in Antrim really.

Hard to believe they even have a Thai chef,reminds me of a Chinese letting on their thai,would not recommend,very disappointed

There is a reason why this restaurant is empty. The soup was white sugar water. Not sure if they know Tom Kha Khai is supposed to have chicken. Small portions and over priced. My wife seafood was spoilt by the amount of salt. Seafood is not fresh but frozen. My red curry beef was served in a small bowl with and even small portion of beef. My wife asked for some seafood to be added to the prawns and they charged an extra 12 pounds. At least the Singa beer was cold best I could say. Not sure why a Thai restaurant has Chinese decor 🤔 Food looks nothing like to pictures on here. Complaint made at paying buy waitress just brushed me off.

The staff are pleasant when I went in for my take away but I had to throw my meal out and just eat the rice. The chicken was vile. 🤢

Lovely food and great value with the 'early bird' menu, Thai food is often quite expensive but not here, very reasonable.

We went to this Chinese and we were so disappointed. After waiting 40 mins on our food we left. Only to be hassled by their bouncer. Or the guy that thought he was a bouncer. Totally disgraceful treatment. Will not be back. Considering the place was empty!!! Do not eat here!!

Another fabulous meal here. As always we were welcomed warmly, service was quick and the food was utterly delicious. As a coeliac it is a nightmare to eat out. However here has a fabulous gluten free menu

I have ordered from here on several occasions and was very pleased with the food and service. However on the last two occasions our meals took ridiculously long delivery times when told 45 mins they weren't here at the 1 hour 30 mins mark and had to ring to see where it was. On both occasions our food was cold and considering how much we paid I was expecting our deliver on time and hot. When ringing up to complain that our food was cold and very late too I was told that we have no control over what direction the delivery driver takes!!! Not really the answer or attitude you would expect. No offer to replace the food or refund given. Although we had great experiences before, we won't be coming back after two terrible experiences and shocking customer service. And after reading your other reviews, it was brought to your staff's attention and that was worse than the food.

Absolutely the worst bite to eat since I have lived in Northern Ireland. Tasteless, tacky and the worst slop of food served in my life. I'm annoyed they charged me for it. You give a response 2 months later??? I rang to say it was not edible. No refund. Your reviews not great. Resolve that!!!

Got a takeaway a couple of times from here and it has always been really good quality and the staff are very friendly.

To be honest the food was good, they forgot my order then took an hour to get the food ready

Surprisingly good, food was very tasty. Great selection of Asian cuisine to choose even of the lunch menu which is great value for money and also quite a large menu for lunch. Really enjoyed the Thai dishes, recommend if you get a chance check out the lunch menu first ohh an be down early as it can get busy after 30 mins or so.

Ordered tonight and was told it will be 30min ,had to rang after an hour to check on it. Was told delivery left 3min ago yet never arrived for another 25min. Food was freezing cold and no taste to it whatsoever also missing sauces not to mention that I have ordered sirloin steak yet received a rump steak instead ... I could of order McDonald's and would have a better deal as paying for few things £40 which were freezing and small portions etc definitely not worth it. Definitely not going to order again and avoid!!! Very disappointed

Normally goid but this time it wasn't so it's put me off Chinese foot for a good while

Mixed thoughts on this place. I got Thai fish cakes that I didn’t much enjoy. If I was to describe the texture I’d say rubbery. I’d expected at least lemon grass to be discernible in the fish cakes but no sign of this beautiful taste. Nor was there any coriander, lime juice, green beans, red chilli nor spring onion. They came with a sweet chilli sauce that tasted like it came out of a bottle. I got pork ribs, again these were disappointing, a small portion and too fatty. My main was a king prawn red curry. Again the curry was disappointing. It lacked the sophistication one expects from great Thai food. I got the impression that this was food made on the cheap. The king prawns were overcooked, but at least the portion was good. The red curry was accompanied by boiled rice (didn’t get a choice of coconut boiled rice) and I got a portion of Thai prawn crackers which are far better than the Chinese ones - they were fine - so a borderline 2 stars but I won’t be back.

The husband and I have just had some fabulous, authentic Thai food from Baan Thai. We are both Vegan and they were fully knowledgable about the dietary restrictions and were very helpful in the ordering process. Having travelled through Thailand for over three months, I can definitely say the food is as close to being authentic as it can be (restrictions on some Thai ingredients) and was really clean, light and very well balanced. Easilly the best Thai food we've had since moving to Northern Ireland three and half years ago. You've made a pregnant lady very happy! Thank you, we will certainly be back!

Not a bad Chinese at all. It opens early on a sunday so handy for that early dinner if you fancy it. Their chicken seem to be either frozen or not from the breast as stated. The chicken balls are huge and could easily be shared. Great value for money.

Good food and service reasonably priced

First impressions very good very welcoming place. Front of house made sure my food was as I wanted. Excellent Panang curry. Don't be afraid to ask them to make authentic or hot as some dishes toned down to NI pallet. Be brave give these Thai flavours a go and you won't go back to Chinese anytime soon.

Went here for work lunch. 3 courses for 8.50! Had the kah Kai soup. Panang curry and a nice apple pie. All dishes tasted pretty authentic and fresh. Would recommend!

Had the most amazing Thai takeaway yesterday evening. Ordered for 6 people. Delivered piping hot within 30 minutes of ordering by telephone. The Massaman beef curries an the Thai green curries were excellent. Very reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend their food.
