Manjaros in Middlesbrough

I have order Chichen Tandoori Pizza . After waiting for more then 30 minutes. I get a pizza with only cheese on it. only two slices of pizza have Chichen and. stuffing on it.rest is all cheese. For that i payed 12 £. That middlesbrough Restaurant manajaros. Dissapointed.

All the girl staff were on their phones not taking people’s orders, no wonder there’s like a 20 minute wait time to even be seated. Music is great tho and the food was 10/10

Ordered waka waka chicken it came and the chicken looked like it came out of a tin and was very tough. They kindly changed this for me when I informed them and on deciding what I wanted I requested no cheese on the wrap. It came with cheese so could not eat this they took t0 per cent of my meal. My husband could not fault his meal. First meal was pure quality and then couldn't listen to get my meal right the second Time

The best parmo I have ever had!

We came to try the parmo which is highly raved about.And we were definitely not disappointed. We ordered the hot shot parmo, 9/10 for me. It was so delicious we loved it but it’s definitely not the best one parmo that we had in Middlesborough.Ws also ordered the roasted chicken with the spiciest sauce and it was so spicy and nice.10/10 for me the chicken that came was so big.I would definitely ask everyone to try Manjaros when they come to Middlesborough!It’s worth every penny and the portion is huge!

The food on the whole, for the rest of my party, was very much enjoyed, however there was a distinct lack of vegetarian or vegan options so I had to have pizza. It was nice, but I would have preferred some more choices!

Best Parmos in boro and the pizzas are so nice,

Food is exceptionally tasty, especially the garlic chicken and mushroom pasta. You get a lot of food, but they will provide you with a food carton to take home any with you that you can't eat at the restaurant. My partner had the mini mixed grill and the portion size would easily feed 2 people. Staff are polite and friendly. Service is great, from ordering to the food being brought to the table is about 5 minutes, 10 minutes if they're busy (which they usually are), but the wait is definitely worth it.

Parmo was nice, frozen chips let it down prefer homemade. Salad was drenched in dressing. if served alcohol may have got an extra star.

The venue was generally clean and tidy It seems to be busy, people coming and going all the while I was at the restaurant. Polite, Informal & Relaxed service. The food was great and served hot. Definitely worth trying, if you have never been

Its my second time here and I am only here for the Parmo. The best I ever had. Literally drove to Boro for an hour to have this. There is quite a waiting list to get a table. But we were called in around 20mins. Ordered a Large original parmo and we shared it among 3 of us. So satisfying! The cheese was melting in my mouth. Will definitely go again!

The parmo's are amazing. Could do with an alcohol licence though. Wouldn't mind returning to try something else.

First time trying Manjaros and honestly I was well impressed by the quality of the food and the flavours. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly worker and taken to our seats. We ordered starters Dynamite King Prawns which were 10/10 the sauce that it came with was brilliant Chicken Wings which were 7/10 mains smash patty burgers which were on special offers “by one get one free” 10/10 so juicy and flavourful and The Original half Chicken Parmesan 9/10 which was massive considering I ordered the half size and not full size, it had me wondering how big the full size one must be lol. Overall brilliant place to eat and definitely worth recommending to anyone.

Lovely food and one of the best restaurants I have been to. Lovely service and big portions. I haven't had carrabien food before but it was delicious. Hope this helped you to decide where to eat.

Very busy restaurant serving delicious well cooked food. Very friendly atmosphere with great staff keen to ensure you have a great dining experience. No alcohol served but BYO is no problem with mini market only 2 doors away.

Have visited multiple times in the past and its been great but we visited at the weekend and the table next to us who were seated AFTER us got their order taken and their food before we even had our drinks order taken so we got up and left. Appalling service. I can appreciate that the restaurant was busy but thats just an absolute joke.

I have never posted a Trip Advisor review for anywhere but feel this is needed. Called in around 5pm Friday and made it clear would just be half and hour for a quick drink. We were told they were fully booked but we could see there were many empty tables. The front of house staff were extremely rude and obnoxious. Unless every table was booked at 5.15pm and all at once perhaps? We had been considering going for a meal one night but will never go on the back of this terrible service and treatment.

Fantastic service and food is amazing

I've been here plenty of times over the years. Fantastic food and service every time.

people have been recommending this place to me for years so finally gave in last month. had the half Parmo which was huge with chips and a bottle of diet coke, a little more expensive than places I normally go but could not fault the food. they have the sauces on the table so you do not have to ask for any and they don't charge you for them which I have now been told they do at the newer Manjaros next to the golf driving range in Ingleby Barwick. was a bit crowded and had a Gang of knobs at a table effing and blinding. but I suppose you get that everywhere these days, no manners.

Lovely atmosphere with nostalgic music. The food is excellent. If you enjoy something with a little kick, the Waka Waka chicken is one of the best dishes I've tasted in a long time (and fyi it pairs well with the yoghurt herb sauce).

I would NOT recomend this place to eat , it was terrible and the staff even worse NEVER AGAIN. Food terrible service even worse . if i was you would rather go to a fast food place that serves rubbish burgers than go back here again WOULD LIKE THE OWNERS TO RESPECT CUTOMERS AND DEAL WITH THE RUBBISH THEY SELL

Takeaway wasn't like the description been in the restaurant and its normally OK but first time fir a takeaway £30 down and most in the bin very upset customer defiantly won't use the takeaway again

Been here a few times now & its grown on me, the 1st time i didnt like the fact everything was covered in this sauce but since then iv found there parmos, smash burgers etc are top notch. Great service always very helpful and the place always has a good atmosphere, perfect for the family.

Always an amazing time at Manjaros. The Rasta pasta is the best pasta ever, beautiful sauce and so filling. My partner had the parmo, so tasty and the garlic sauce is lovely. The staff are always so friendly, the cocktails are fantastic especially the pina colada - which lasts the full meal! Highly recommend, love every visit we have!!

I ordered on manjaroes express I love the food absolutely amazing but we did request on the delivery notes that the doorbell is not to be rang yet the driver did and woke my baby up not happy! READ THE DELIVERY NOTES!!!!!

Got myself a delivery of a parmo and chips with Manjaros sauce. Delivery was 30 minutes quicker than expected by a very friendly driver and all the food was lovely. Will 100% order from here again

Poor service from the front desk, very amateur. Had to request someone to take our drink order after waiting to be seated, no clear direct of service. No one introduced as our server, so just had to hail some passing waiter or waitress to order anything. Food was ok but slightly cold but again no one came to ask if everything was ok, had to request Yorkshire puddings & mint sauce. When we managed to flag someone down to request another drink the waiter came back and unfortunately spilt the drinks over us, no support from his colleagues to help him no sign of management till about 10 mins later to advise if any of our clothes needed dry cleaning to get in touch and they’d sort it out. Of course accident do happen it’s unfortunate, but there is way if handling these types of situations, not ignore the table leaving our plates sitting there and a drink all over the table. Nevertheless they reduced the bill as a way of apology. I can honestly say that despite what had happened this could have all be covered up by excellent customer service. Good service can even mask poor quality food, if you cant get the customer experience right then the food doesn’t stand a chance. Real shame as the venue it’s self is amazing. Thanks but no thanks

Presentation of the food in the boxes and side sauces is great but I think they need to focus on quality of food more. Shame for the price you pay

Had to be done! I finally went to Manjaros for the world famous Parmo and it did not disappoint. There was no way I could finish that in one sitting. Love it

Really lovely food, we ordered the smash burgers and they were buy 1 get 1 free. Excellent value for money and very tasty. The best burger i've had eating out in a long time. Will certainly go back, cornflake tart and custard for dessert too. Could not fault it at all. Please try if you haven't already 😁

Great food friendly staff very good service

We have always had fabulous food here. But struggle with the cars without disabled badges regularly parking in the bays . Can’t fault the lady who welcomed us . When I pointed out that this happens every time we go and it’s not acceptable she agreed and explained we were the not the only people to make this comment. My daughter isn’t good on feet and we were (again) not able to park close . That said it won’t stop us returning as the food and staff are first class. It would be just be good if the customers could respect that disabled bays are there for a reason .

Really nice food, shame about the service which was very slow, 30 minute wait between collecting starter plates and mains arriving. Nobody checked if we needed more drinks, you had to try and grab someone’s attention. Drinks expensive

Great food the parmo was top and the sweet potato mash is next level. Important note for students that you get discount here if you show your student id!

Visited 3 times with my girlfriend food is always very good. However the staff ruin it the second time we attended we ordered 2 drinks and they didn’t arrive until after the food came. They are all very young they stand about talking while there’s a bar full of drinks waiting to go out. I had to ask 3 people for the bill because it never came. Seems as though non of them are bothered.

The food is good really tasty. The menu has plenty of choice. The waitress was attentive and prompt. It's not the best atmosphere and the lay out is a little like an up market take away. It's bring your own booze but there is a budgens a few doors up. It's good it's reasonable and it's about who your with. 3 guys had a good laugh over dinner. Plenty of people visit and look to be enjoying themselves.

I have been here a few times and do enjoy the food, the manjaros sauce is lovely. Only disappointment is that they used to provide sauce bottles on the table before similar to nandos, but now you have to pay for smaller portions of the sauce.

Came here as a family of 14 to celebrate our daughter new job....a busy night....from the moment we came greeted with a warm welcome...the young girl who looked after us .really sorry didn't get name was excellent.. well done to her....and the staff who brought out our drinks and food again excellent .. the food was amazing and plenty....thank you for making our night special....

Ordered food, part of the order was missing. Girlfriend enjoyed her meal, I left my food minus the chips. I got charged fully for the meal which is fine as I did order it but as part of the meal was missing and I couldn't eat my food due to the taste I couldn't be bothered arguing. Probably won't be back.

Been meaning to try manjaros for a while now . Food was really nice, portion sizes are large . We order 2 half parmos and a burger and were really impressed. Unfortunately they don't have a alcohol licence but they welcome you to bring your own. 2 shops down is a late night off-licence.

Visited last Sunday for lunch will say the food is very tasty and well presented but on the two occasions we have had Sunday lunch the food has been cold we asked the waitress to please make sure our food was hot when it was served she wrote on the order for hot food but when it was served still cold she asked them to re heat it which they did but my point is for the price you should expect hot food when we visited and had food off normal menu this came hot like I said the food is always good to taste but please serve hot will not be having Sunday lunch there anymore but not to say we wouldn't visit for other food

Honestly this is a difficult one for me, but I couldn't eat anything here, everything was spicy or contained spice or was marinated in something spicy, or was deep fried! we checked the menu before going (knowing I have no tolerance for anything spicy) and it said they did pizzas so we thought would be ok, but we found out when we tried to order they only serve these after 4! My husband and son wanted a parmo so this is why we were going! They said was nice enough but not one to rush back for! So I sat with a tiny portion of fries while they ate their ok parmos that we waited so long for the music had done a loop and we were on the 2nd go through of the play list! So all in all not great but the staff were really friendly and attentive
