Mamapapa’s Wok in Nottingham

Not even one star worth So yesterday I went to this place order chicken fried rice after some time I found small hair but this place my friends always use to visit so I told him politely he dint even think for a second and replied is this some Indian trick .i just can’t believe, the way he said . I would never visit that place again #racist

Ordered online. Took 40-45 minutes to make (of the 25 mins it said it would). Got two steps outside of the door when the bag handle ripped. Great start. Food was OK, but doubt I'll go back

The food was tasty enough, I rated the noodles the worst, the main ones were really tasty, but the good impression was spoiled by even a few black long hairs found in the food. We took the food for takeaway, we didn't have the chance to complain about it in the cafe. We also tried spring rolls, but they didn't leave an impression, they were overcooked and dry, maybe because we ate them later not in the restaurant. While we were waiting for food we used the toilet, we wanted more cleanliness there, it is also strange that food supplies are kept near the toilet.

I had a real tasty meal after a long time. The food was really great, it was beyond my expectations. Susheel and Amit gave us good quality of service. It is a must visit place for a spicy lover!!

The food is not that great. They treat some of there known people with more care and forget about the people who are actually paying for the food. We saw two people who came to there restaurant after we entered and apparently they knew the owner of the restaurant so they asked for discount. That customer was getting food so quickly and we had to wait for 45 minutes to get our order. They should start cloud kitchen only because they are more worried and quick for the online orders rather than for the customer who is siting in the store. There are 3 people who are not able to manage the place for sure. Highly highly disappointed.

CHECK ORDER BEFORE PURCHASE AND PORTION SIZES!! Been coming and going here for a while food was good and were polite got talking a few times. Owner mentioned hes changing the packaging and menu due to charges ect, last time i ordered mixed box noodles, chips and chicken only to realise no chips so mentioned it and he just apologies. Come in after 2 months off chance and ordered a large mixed box and large box of salt and pepper chips. The ‘large’ box was tiny size of a single burger box and asked him he smirked and said we have changed our sizes but its still the same but clearly not! In a large mixed box only got 7 small pieces of chicken and more noodles in that anything else, chips were horrendous hard and not enjoyable whatsoever. So ordered 2 large and paid for 2 large but walked away with extra small sized portion food. Old reviews of portion sizes were great however now are not soo good! Don't think would be coming back again.

I ordered the combo-box with salt & pepper chicken, chilli chicken, spicy garlic rice and spicy honey fries. It was amazing and I loved the salt and pepper chicken the most. I also shared some honey spiced wings which were very nice too. Service was excellent, everyone was extremely friendly especially the chef and he made it a warm welcoming environment. Can't wait to go back!

I have been to MPW recently I ordered momo and chef suggested to have fried in chilly sauce, it taste yum. Chef and staff are really friendly, I would love to visit there again. Even I found the place hygienic and super clean.

Such a hidden gem! Well where do i start, the guy on the till was clueless bless him, just needs tad improvement on customer service, upselling, smiling and so on. Anyhow Rawan saved the day! Came along recommended what he thought would suit me and boy was he right! Food was lush, fresh and full of flavour, overall i rate this place all it stars! Probably the most authentic indo chinese food in nottingham. Really yummy and customisable! I’ve eaten there many times and always been happy. They even went out of their way to help us after making a small mistake.

Such a amazing place to have Chinese food and tried the mee goreng and I loved it. I tried red the hot level of spice and it was super spicy and it tasted good. They also have ben and jerry’s. The people working there are great !!

I was reaching back home by 11:10 and I saw the lights open, just walked inside and saw that there was no food options left, but the kind chef stopped me and gave me the food that he was going to take home for himself. The food was just as I thought it would be, it reminded me of the Chinese that I used to have in India, everyone in the restaurant is very friendly and kind.
