Mama Mia Express in Tameside

An absolute joke 😒 ordered food waited 2 hours, called the restaurant they answered and say nothing 🙄 I call back 57 times constantly engaged 😡 food never arrived had to order from elsewhere this has happened 3 times now will NEVER order from here again

It would be quicker to fly to Italy and get a pizza there Shocking

My wife ordered from Mama Mia's tonight, and I've never been more disgusted by a restaurant- outside of the dirt & mold covered container lids, the food was beyond abhorrent. I tried the Cannelloni and found the pasta tasted sweet (it shouldn't have been) and the mince in it was grey & off, the potato wedges weren't potato wedges & were smothered in pepper, her meal of spaghetti & meatballs was ruined by overcooked dry & rubbery meatballs, the garlic bread was basically cremated and dry as a rock, they sent a caesar salad that wasn't a caesar salad because instead of caesar dressing they instead dumped a ton of heinz salad cream on it, I'd looked forward to trying the tiramisu (I've had tiramisu from over 40 restaurants) and what Mama Mia sent was a plain sponge cake topped with heavy whipped cream and a very light dusting of a cheap cocoa powder that didn't even taste like mock chocolate, and instead of the profiteroles my wife ordered this shambles of a place instead decided to send a slice of clearly store bought chocolate fudge cake (which was stale). Mama Mia is by far the worst (so called) restaurant I've ever had the displeasure of giving my custom to, and I'll never order from there again; I pray what few tastes of food we did eat doesn't result in us being unwell. If you want Italian or even just a cheap average quality meal then steer clear of these frauds, and look around to find a decent establishment instead.

Was really disappointed. The brushetta bread was soggy and the dish was refrigerated, the carbonara needed more sauce and a tad more flavour

Staff is cooperative and food was tasty !

I just visited them last night after my freind recommended mama mia express and I must say I had a lovely experience.The food was hot and tasty will definitely recommend others and will come again!!

Customer of 7 years! Used to be amazing. Now appalling. No longer an authentic Italian taste. Just bad kebab shop pizza.

Ordered from here food was late tasteless pizza was late wouldn't recommend this place anyone waste of time. Driver can not read instructions what I noted about the delivery ended up playing hide and seek with him trying to find him

was declined an order on just east for no reason... if i'd have seen these reviews before i wouldn't have tried in the first place

he cooks pasta on a frying pan and has mould on the walls the food was good though i can’t lie

Very disappointed! All food was cold, garlic bread was dry and like rock. Food in general wasn’t served as described on the menu. When we called them to complain, they didn't offer an apology or seem to be bothered. Do not recommend at all.

Ordered from here at the weekend with a voucher. On arrival was told I must pay full price cash and to ring the restaurant if I didn't like it.W on the phone I was told to stop playing games and that they know my address, and then asked for more money! The man on the phone wouldn't even tell me who he was because 'it wasn't important'... Don't think I have to say much more

Just ordered from here through just eat with a voucher for 20% off. Food arrives, boyfriend goes to pay for it and they insist he has to pay full price. He then rings the restaurant and they shout at him down the phone and tell him he's 'playing games' and has to pay the full price. In the end the poor delivery driver stepped in and let us have it for the price we were supposed to get it. Appalling service from all there except the delivery driver.

Liked atmosphere but food was appalling, maybe it's because it was done on the cheap through groupon? Had to send a main course one back, second one slightly better, seemed to have a taste that was the same as the first. No issue when asked to replace. Mock drink I ordered was better than my daughter's 'real' version We've decided to go back and try again but without groupon to see if this does make a difference. Will do a new review then.

We just got our pizza and it s burned and dry and has no taste!!!

Worst meal I've ever order from a take away! Ordered a pizza and asked for mushrooms on it & it came with no mushrooms. Ordered another pizza and it said roasted peppers and it came with raw peppers and hardly no goats cheese finally ordered a pasta meal and it came looking like they haven't drained the water off the pasta mushrooms not cooked!!!! Really bad meal. Would never order again

Unfortunately a poor meal from Mamma Mias. Ordered garlic mushrooms for starters and probably received about four mushrooms in quarters. Not very good value. Spaghetti Carbonara for main and it tastes of pasta water. Not alot of sauce at all and alot of chunks of bacon fat in there and very little bacon. Can of Fanta wasn't chilled either. Such a shame.

Excellent food, good price. Friendly staff! Proper Italian takeaway! Try the profiteroles !!

Took two hours to deliver 4 pizzas to an event which ended before they arrived.
