No cheese on the cheesy chip, other food was good

The food is very bad dal makhani is very sweet no taste in daal makhni and chicken is very spicy i never back here I want my refund

Not the first time this happened, kids fell asleep waiting, delivery late again for over 1 hour, not giving any sort of refunds, like this is normal to them,this is the last time i ordered from this place, DO NOT RECOMMEND

Tried again tonight for the second time and I was really disappointed again. I ordered bombay potatoes and rice, it had half a potato sliced really fine, it seemed to have a coconut base much like a korma with added spices. Previously tried 2 years ago, orders a Jalfrezi and a Madras, we actually couldn't tell them apart because those too were both coconut based like a korma!? I'm almost certain they just serve up anything available and think locals have never tried Indian cuisine before 🤷

Wrong order, doner not warm Ordered x2 doner on chips and got Nan bread instead, rang the shop they said they would deliver chips up - but 35 mins later no chips

Got a vindaloo with Nan bread + popadoms delivered. The food was great with the right amount of spice and the delivery time was good, would recommend Malabar.

Greasy burgers, completely tasteless.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, ordered Chicken Madras without all the veg, man asked me would I like a little coriander which i decidedtotake, curry was very tasty with lots of succulent chicken, lots on the menu I would like to try. I also like that you can see them cooking and their kitchen is spotless, I would highly recommend this takeaway to lovers of Indian food

I have just had a chicken pakora starter. This is the worst I have ever had. Very small portions of chicken and a very small portion in all . The batter was soggy . I telephoned the takeout and the lady was very apologetic and said she would send me out another starter. Honestly I do not think I will ever be back as I have had previous issues. These are only my options from today

unfortunately the rice undercooked, the chicken overcooked and dry and overly spicy for a biryani. naan bread ok. after a couple of trys i had to admit defeat, unedible.....so sorry😞

Finally!! A decent Indian takeaway in Coleraine. We had the chicken garlic tikka masala and Chicken Rogan Josh. Absolutely perfect. Plenty of meat and sauce and the mushroom rice was great too. Delivery timing was spot on as well.

Ordered a meal at 5.30pm, didn’t arrive until 8.20pm. Really nice food as usual but 3 hours to wait for a takeaway is extreme.

Ordered for delivery .. order confirmed at 20.25 for delivery between 21.05 & 21.25 phoned at 2145 to ask for an update and was told waiting on driver - estimated time then changed to 22.10 but still didn't arrive it's us to 22.17!! 2 hours waiting on 2 kebabs!! Madness ... food was nice but cold

Have been using the Malabar ever since it opened, and as a bit of a Indian food lover, I can honestly say this is the best in Coleraine by far, and can rival the best in Belfast! The staff are ever so friendly, as is the delivery driver Tim. I read some of the bad reviews and quite honestly these customers are being very unfair. Rarely do they make a mistake, but when they do they always make it good.👏 Love this place, the food, service & their noticeable passion for 💯% quality. Keep up the great work guys!

Best kebab shop in the north coast.

Food was great. Delivered 40 mins after the expected time frame but was still piping hot and worth the wait. I had added a few notes about our order and the restaurant done exactly as I asked so couldnt be happier. Will defo be ordering again :)

The worst Indian takeaway possible! Chicken Korma had too much sweet gloopy sauce and not much chicken. Tandoori King prawn had sweetcorn in it (!) the popadums were stale and the onion bajis not good either. A £60 in the bin!

The best Indian in the area by a mile. Food always flavourful, fresh and piping hot. Never had a bad meal from here. Portions are huge and plenty of meat in dishes. Proper mixed kebabs. Excellent food and service.

Wasn't sure after reading some of these reviews but glad we went for it because it was lovely. Arrived 5 mins early, generous portions, plenty of meat in the curry. First time ordering and it won't be the last.

Food arrived 40 mins after expected time and 40 mins after a text saying it was on its way, we live 5-10mins away. Food was barely warm. Salad was soggy and in open bags at the top of the delivery. Food was decent however would have been a lot nicer if warmer.

Ordered at 5.30pm food arrived at nearly 8pm. Whoever answered the phone in the restaurant didn’t seem to care when I called to see where the order was after 2 hours.

Always great food and delivered as ordered .never had a complaint ordering from these guys yet highly reccomend

Order took over 2 hours to arrive , 2 and half by time it was on table due to couldnt work out what was what ,when eventually got through to enquire I was told it was on way ,when I said it was too late for the child's meal as they had gone to bed they just put the receiver on the side ,I held on for 10 mins while they carried on talking ect ignoring me when I tried to speak to them , over priced and all curries looked the same no writing on tubs to distinquinsh them apart very poor service the only saving grace was the poor delivery man who couldn't apologise enough ,felt bad for him , shame as it came recommended, an apology wouldn't of gone amiss from the restaurant

Still our favourite takeaway hands down 11/10 great food and awesome service and delivery 🚚

I order from here every week and am never disappointed. Absolutely love their vegetable bhuna but all the veggie options tried have been excellent. Very impressed.

First time eating out of here. Just had a large mix kabab on chips. It literally had everything on it. Wife had a chicken korma. Gets a 5* from us
