First time in Manchester for a concert at the new Co-op live, went into Maine road chippy and met the owner, what a lovely guy and an awesome place, great food and great hospitality

Never open when it’s supposed to be, managed to find it open once and the food was great if a little expensive. Tried to go back loads of times but it’s always closed. Even when the door was open and people were there, they said we are closed. Just can’t work it out. Maybe they only open on match days.

It’s really nice to have a chance to try the fish and chips there for once. Tons of options to choose from and there’s at least something for everyone to enjoy.

I loved the place!! The owner is really nice 😊. Place was clean.

Terrible food and the staff are worse. Food made by pigs for pigs. Dont come here.

Very fair fish & chips (lots of potatoes and little fish), they didn't have the drinks we had ordered and already paid for, lackluster service... but I also suppose they were already tired after a day of serving a lot of people after a City game

Great food served by a lovely young lady

Love the food, have done for years but they are starting to take the piss. Mega Inflated matchday prices and at the weekend the meat pies were evidently party ones as they were tiny ! Ripping off the working class has become the norm!

Just walked 15 to 20 to this cafe as online says open till 9 gotta go bk home no upset the kids with no chippy as its shut clearly bad ownership lucky I can't give 0 star

Came to see Ed Sheeran at the Edtihad stadium went in for something to eat .not very clean looking The chips were ok but the fish was a pile of grease sorry but this has got to be one of the worst cafe /chip shop I have ever experienced glad it's not my local

Best chippy in Manchester. Really nice cod and fresh chips and the mint mushy peas and Irish curry is amazing and the onion gravy is excellent too. Defo is the best chippy around

Service and food was awesome fish and chips and a chicken wrap.

Had a great breakfast from here a couple of times.
