Mah Cafe in Barnet

We discovered this LITTLE GEM quite by accident (stuck in traffic at temporary lights) if you blinked you’d miss it. There was a warm welcome by the owner who pushed tables together for us and came and bought age appropriate books for the children to read while they were waiting. I can highly recommend the mixed kebab for two Persian style and you get a choice of two rice or pitta or nan for £15.60 plus £2 extra for a healthy portion of rice topped with saffron. It was absolutely delicious! We also ordered the lunch special of chips and bolognaise. Home made real finely cut potato chips/French fries. The bolognaise was in a home made rich with chopped red and green peppers. Good value for money as a lunch time special for £7 including a drink. it’s a small cafe very reasonably priced, that is clean and friendly, but does normal cafe foods and drinks as well as restaurant standard foods. There was a gentleman eating what looked like a full English breakfast and a couple came in and ordered coffees and baklavas. All looked fantastic. Car park just up the road opposite Bodens, which you have to pay for. We will definitely be visiting this again soon.
