Good service friendly staff nice place to eat

Not a bad little place food was timely and was tasty a little over cooked for myself but still nice clean tables and friendly staff

Expecting to have lamb on carvery as in last years visit. Not impressed as carvery has changed. No mashed potato,lack of choice on veg and luke warm.Gravy like water and no mint sauce,apple sauce or cranberry sauce.

Called with the wife as we were at the caravan for 4 days loved it plenty of people in and the food and drink was lovely definitely be calling again.

Cheap clean beer, it gets rammed in here. It is a holiday park working class pub so expect lots of noisy kids at times. Decent sport screens too, shows top flight football matches The crowd are lively, but without mayhem, the staff are a cool bunch. I haven't eaten here so can't comment, but beer is fresh and cheap. Zero tolerance to drugs, dog friendly but no large aggressive ones are allowed in. Nice selection of snacks. Choose your times relatively quieter earlier in week. Beer garden out front for the smokers, vapers.

Out if season visit, nice little venue. Had quick pint. Good choice. Average price

So friendly, kids friendly, small - medium dog size friendly, they serve food and it's spectacular, the staff are all lovely and polite, there's plenty of seating inside and out.

We had a lovely experience here, as a family of 9. Do a great range of food and drink. Clean, tidy and staff were very attentive.

Went for a Sunday roast. Very tasty and reasonably priced .

Struggled with stairs but staff rallied round not only assisted with helping on carvery but also carried both dishes down stairs for us prices reasonable only complaint it was lukewarm. but I don't know if they could've microwave it, I didn't ask overall good meal great helpful staff thank you.

Went to my aunties 70th at the magpie, the buffet the magpie kitchen provided was with excellent quality and service. The staff went above and beyond. I would highly recommend the magpie kitchen's catering service.

Would not go back there even if it was free .

My first time back here since 2019. The caravery has got better then before. Will definitely be back soon. Staff are amazing as well

Came here just for a few drinks a okay bar and outdoor seating area beer was fair priced we didn’t have food but the food did look nice would come again again for a few drinks in the summer

Difficult to rate (its not even a 1 star) when we arrived - no steak, no lasagne, no this no that..... Tables sticky, funny smell, staff absolutely not interested. Why does this place exist.

Good pub, good food, nice beer no frills Recommend to pop in for bit of grub and a pint while passing through reasonable prices been here twice on both breaks I have had in the area. Like I said no frills pub got what you need will come again

Very busy when i was there, it was a bank hol weekend. Evening drinks outside.

Brilliant staff and the carvery on the Sunday was absolutely amazing.

Absolutely disgusting spent money in there all day / night and got told my some scrotty cow we wasn't allowed to eat our chippy in the pub even though the chippy is on there site but they are ok to advertise all there intertainment on the caravan park joke of a place and managment

Great place to have a drink while kids play football on the safe inclosed pitch. The carvery was sold out but that just goes to show how good it must be. We even won £50 on reveal ticket out of the machine A++

Just been here for the first time for an evening birthday drink. Characterful pub, good drinks, well-behaved small dogs welcome.

Was nice though the decor was a bit of an odd choice. Didng eat nut from what we saw being served it looked good. Beer garden at the front was nice. Plenty of tables. Play area for the children. Had a good time. Handy for the bus stop.

The Sunday carvery was not good. The exception was the gammon -delicious. The vegetables were overcooked to mush and no flavor. They tasted like water. They uncovered the chaffing dishes and placed the lids on the floor! Later returned them to cover the food. Roast and turkey were extremely dry.

Attached to Premier Inn. Breakfast was excellent.

Filthy, rubbish all over the floor, grease on dried on food on the table tops, bar staff were friendly, we we're told by the kitchen staff that they don't do "dinner food on Saturday as they get sick of people coming and going, it's too busy"

Worst carvery ever. Just cost £50.00 for 2 adult and 2 child meals of rubber brisket, fake mash potato (smash dried tyoe) tasteless lumpy gravy. In fact so awful we walked out leaving our plates almost full as my sons eyes watered from gagging on his Yorkshire pud

Had lunch yesterday and just had breakfast before heading home food delicious staff very friendly and welcoming would highly recommend.

We went on Saturday for tea & Sunday for a roast. Angie & the team are very friendly and helpful & always keen to help. Food is lovely.

We’ve just had the best food, lasagna chips and garlic bread, served with a pint for ONLY £6 PP, the food was outstanding, absolutely plenty of it, and so tasty, service was great, food was freshly cooked none greasy, will definitely be eating there again

The food is not great but is a reasonable price and tasty so gets a good from me. Personally I found some evenings very loud, music playing too loud but other nights it was better. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is also dog friendly. Overall I would recommend.

Dog Friendly.... Lovely pub for a quiet drink or a lovely meal. The staff are really friendly. There is a pool table and dart board if you want a game, also many TV screens inside for music or sporting events..... I can highly recommend the Sirloin Steak and the Mixed Grill.

The food is excellent & the staff are lovely, but the pub could do with a decorating.

Food was very nice and good portion size , young staff too busy chatting to friends who looked like they were in a youth club (not eating or drinking ) and staff member gesturing to friend (not very professional), not our first visit , will visit again though

I had a gorgeous meal in Magpie and Stump.

Sat outside for 15 minutes. No one came to take our order so we left

Went in today, one member of staff seemed very rude with us from the start. We were waiting ages to order food, just to be told they weren't serving food any more and this was at 5.45pm very disappointed

We visited for breakfast, breakfast was reasonably priced for what you got. The lady seemed rushed off her feet but the actual dining area wasn't that busy. More staff did arrive but at the time of dining/ordering there was 2 staff in which didn't seem sufficient. The breakfast it's self wasn't the best but edible. Probably wouldn't return for breakfast.
