Rude staff. Poor food. I don’t know who the staff in this place think they are, but talking to your customers like they’re idiots is a guaranteed way to ensure they don’t come back to buy your low quality greasy food and travel a little further to go some decent with staff who treat their customers with respect.

This fish and chip shop is absolutely superb. Fish is always fresh with crispy batter, chips great, never greasy or soggy. Best chip shop for miles around.

Have purchased fish and chips from this shop a few times since it was taken over by the current owners and we have always been please. As we have to travel a few miles to get here it is great that we can phone and place an order in advance so that it is waiting when we arrive. We generally have the haddock as this is excellent and freshly cooked to order. The friendly welcome makes it even more pleasant. Would definitely recommend

Quite simply the best Fish & Chips in Witney, bar none. Lovely, friendly couple running it, generous portion sizes, good food. What more can you want (apart from better parking maybe :-) )

If I fancy a chippy tea on one of my regular trips to Witney, then always come here. Tried others, but this is the best one for me. Lovely fish and chips, generous portions (and I'm a greedy northerner), fair prices and always pleasant, friendly service from the young couple running it. Top Drawer! 😀

This friendly young couple are TRYING hard to improve the quality of this Fish and Chip Shop after the previous owners returned home and unfortunately let quality and hygiene slip. I have found them helpful, portions reasonable and fair prices .

Bought Large cod and chips today, small bit of fish surrounded by a large slab of batter, I suspect it had been re-fried from lunch time as what fish there was, was very dry, the chips also appeared to have been reheated. Very poor, I will not be back.

Nice young couple now running shop now with new name. Hot and fresh food plus very friendly. Was busy when visited but not long a waut.

Good chippy, good value for money and served with a smile. It's better than the rip off prices at Off the hook in Long Hanborough and also the new chip shop on Madley Park The Harbour.

Best fish and chips in Witney. Gamete regularly on a Monday when I get home late from work. Lively chips, lovely crisp batter on the fish. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have called in here a few times now because it is on a route I use. I always order the same thing, a large piece of cod. At £3.70 this is excellent value and when they say large they really mean it. It is well cooked, excellent fish in a nice, crispy batter. Nice lady serving.
