A lovely place to get some fish and chips. Even the small portion was enough for a big lad like me. Thks for the wonderful customer service as well. 100% will revisit again. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

The food was horrible I ate 5 chips and instantly had to throw it in the bin. I will never order from this place ever again. WASTED MY MONEY. The chips were clearly old and dried out. Why would they serve that to people.

The food was immaculate and the young lads who served our family really catered to us even though we came 10 minutes before closing. They even let they even let us stay half an hour after closing hours whilst our family had our meal. Brilliant.

I ordered the first time tonight and I am so happy I did! The best fish and chips we had since we moved in the area! Will only order from them from now on.

Place our order @ 19:40 ETA 20:25 -20.45 Received text massage @20:23 on its way. Call 9:50 was told, the order is leaving now. Well; It’s now 21:21 no delivery. Total £40.60 Wow delivered at 21.23. Very poor service and the quality was not the usual.

WOW, this place used to be my favourite place for fish and chips in my late teens but it's not that local anymore, but decided to give it another try. Food was amazing, fish was cooked to perfection with the right amount of batter so you can really enjoy the flavour of the fish and the chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Maci's you have nailed it as your food was perfect and I'll be happy travelling every 2 weeks to my favourite fish and chips shop again. Plus for all of February their doing 2 for 1 on cod. 👌🏾😋

Currently they’ve got a fantastic deal on for the month of February. Buy 1 cod get 1 free. The cod itself was well cooked with the right amount of batter and had no smell to it. There were a couple of bones left in it but I think it was just the last batch or not. The fish it self was delicious. The chips were also incredibly nice, cooked at the right temp as the outside was crunchy but inside was soft and didn’t feel soggy at all. Fish cake was okay and didn’t taste of much. Curry sauce was nice but had abit too much curry powder. Overall amazing value for money and can feed the family well. Also I have to say the brothers that run this place are the friendliest of people and one of the cleanest kitchens/takeaway I have ever seen. Fish 9/10 Chips 9/10 Fish cake 5/10 Curry sauce 6/10 Service 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10

Chips were lovely, fresh and very tasty. Came across this chip shop from a Google Map search as we are new to the area. Wasn't sure at first as very small shop, but once inside, the server (name is Ilias) was very friendly. Chips were cooked fresh, so we had to wait for a few minutes. He served a very generous portion too. (Only order a large chips, if you are very hungry) As we are only a 5 min drive from home, we waited till we got home, as the chips were wrapped really well (He threw in some ketchup & mayo sachets for free). When we started eating, the chips were still hot and very tasty. Nice and soft, not too crunchy just how we like them. Gonna make this my local chippie from now on.

First time ordering based on the Google reviews! Ordered the cod which was yum and for a small was pretty big! The batter wasn’t greasy either! Chips were perfect! Sausage was also perfect and not over cooked curry sauce banging! Got extra chips with a smiley face! Lol nice touch! Delivery was fast (in the horrendous rain) and all piping hot! Overall brilliant and I’ll be ordering again! Thanks

This was my first time ordering from here and although it was over half an hour late I'm still giving five stars, why, because I had an apology which was much appreciated as when I ordered from another shop all I got was attitude and rudeness. I will also add that it was a refreshing change to not have thick batter on the fish and I hate to see what a large portion of chips looks like, I what was described as the small portion, well, sadly I had to throw half away as definitely enough for two people, that said it depends on the person's appetite. All in all a satisfying experience.

We was here from wolverhampton on a day trip and can say hands down best fish and chips we have tasted. I also ordered a burger not on the menu and the manager was so accomadating and again was fantastic. Next time in Luton I'm already looking forward to come back again.

Didnt like the food to be honest, battered sausage was hard and rubbery and chips tasted old not fresh at all, the packing is awful they need to pack fish and chips properly. We ordered two portions and they packed it weirdly the fish were sticking to each other and it took off the batter. The batter was not crispy and it was hard and tasted bland. A.big thumbs down from me.

Clean shop decent food good service

Fish is nice. But the chips are really not up to scratch. Very dry over cooked and mainly crispy bit. When I order chips I expect thick chips and not dry and crispy chips. Hardly any thick chips. I’m sorry but I’m not eating here any more.

For £7 (on uBerEats, which doesn't include the extra fees) I was expecting more chips than what was in the picture (disappointing). The fish coating was tasty though and the packaging was securely stapled which are good - though it also ruled out the possibility that the delivery driver took some chips. Sharing the picture so you know what you're getting as there are no pictures as of today and uBerEats.

They claimed to be open till 10pm on Google maps. I drove twenty miles to find it closed at 9pm. Very annoying.

It’s a first time using this restaurant, and all I can say is the service for eat in or takeaway very good. Everything is halal apart from the pie. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic customer service, they were very professional. I had pre ordered for a large party, the food came on time and freshly cooked. The portions are a good size and everyone loved the food! I would definitely use Maci's again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Omg I have a new favourite fish and chip shop in Town! Can not fault it, from the customer service on the phone, to the quality and warmth of the food all the way to the portion of food. Felt very happy pleased and content after the meal..money worth well spent. Will always recommend!!!

Amazing people with even more amazing food. Cod fish was absolutely delicious with a crispy, tasty batter on the exterior and beautifully soft flakey fish, not to oily and not dry at all! Chips were amazing as well. Very kind and friendly people, treated me very well considering it was my first time visiting today! As per the gentleman on the phone, the pies are not halal but everything is cooked seperately. So to those who care about halal, so long as you stay away from the pies, you're good to go!

Ordered two fish n chips with mushy peas and curry sauce. Was given more than generous portions of fish and chips. The batter is light and crispy and the chips are crispy and fluffy. Absolutely lovely! One of the best fish chips and mushy peas ive ever had

Probably the only top quality Fish and Chip place in luton. But Chicken shwarma could do better with a bit more shwarma in the portion.

What can i say excellent customer service excellent delicious food. I can not fault anything my order was to the T. The chips had no oil in and same goes for the fish. We have been going here since I was a young child which is a very long time ago. Even with the name change. The service and food is still the same, which is always great. The staff know their customers really well and will always have a chat. Just a all round lovely family business and great food

Good portion size and crispy batter

Nice food, good quality simple menu. They offer a little more than the average chip shop such as shawarma (which is hand made and marinaded). Polite and kind staff. Parking may be difficult on Marsh Road but you could drive to the end of Mount Pleasant road behind the premises and cut across by foot.
