My meatballs and tagliatelle were not very nice. The meatballs were tough, dry and tasteless and the tagliatelle was a stodgy lump of pasta. Gave up fighting to try and extract some strips to eat. Similar with the pasta and crab - friend tried cutting it with a knife to free up something to eat. Piazzetta was very tasty. Overall, very disappointing.

lovely wine bar with good food and service highly recommend, they had a £12 deal on for toasted panini, forms and glass of wine. Broadway has a lot of places to eat but as it is very popular they fill up quickly. this place is great and lots of room and is probably the best kept secret in Broadway (or maybe not for much longer)

This is a cosy contemporary twist to an old historic eatery adjacent to the main Lygon Arms Hotel. Real log fire, good service and interesting menu with a difference. For example lots of light nibbles and light bites all with an Italian twist. Recommend.

Lygon Arms wine bar was so good. We sat near the roaring fire which was lovely and warm on a cold day. The wine list was good. For starters I had the hot salmon salad. It was so tasty and a really good size. I had the main of Crab pasta it was seasoned well and had loads of flavour. I will be returning again.

Good to have a couple of eating options when staying. The wine bar is fun and the tapas menu works well. Managed to work our way through a good number of the wines by the glass with our friends. Nice staff throughout the place.

I've spent time in the Lygon Arms both with friends and by myself...and it is just a delightful place to be. You can sit in peace and quiet, or chat, and the service is impeccable. Cozy and warm...lovely whatever the weather.

We called in for drinks and enjoyed a seat by the open fire. The decor is lovely and what a wine selection. All hanging on racks on the walls. It was very relaxing and we’d have loved to stay for food or even better a room.

We popped in to the Wine Bar at the Lygon Hotel as there was a spare table outside on the High Street. It was table service and just nice to people watch and look at the wonderful high street. Drinks are quite expensive as expected.

We decided to try a few local pubs/bars whilst during a visit to Broadway and on entering the wine bar, we were greeted by a flat cap wearing bar staff. We asked if it was possible to just have a drink in the wine bar or did we have to order food and was quickly turned away from an empty room after being told that it was fully booked.

Had coffee in the courtyard at rear of hotel after staying the night here. Coffee okay, not great - a Latte and Mocha. Courtyard very pleasant but you pay for it. £8 for the coffee and £1 service charge - a bit rich as he only had to walk about 12 paces!!

The menu was very simple when we arrived. The food though was very tasty. We really enjoyed it. The restaurant was very quiet wjth only one other couple in for the evening. Service was fine, nice and friendly.

This is an attractive place with a short menu with a main course of pizza or pasta. Although described as a wine bar the wine list is both short and overpriced. Staff were pleasant and there is an open fire which was nice on a cold damp evening. We both ate a tuna salad followed by pizzas. Visited Easter Sunday. Staff were really pleasant and nice. Bought a bottle of wine to share and ciabatta served with Italian meats with olives as a light lunch. There was plenty of meat to share and the warm ciabatta was excellent. Lovely log fire too. Really enjoyed our visit.

We visited here for dinner on a very chilly Easter Saturday. The fire was lit which was lovely. We were seated at a high table with four high stools, great for conversation. We shared a sharing platter of meats which was very good. I had the crab and parsley linguine which was full of crab and full of flavour. My daughter had pizza which was good and my other daughter had meatballs which she enjoyed. The service was good and it was reasonably priced.

We needed to have a stop for a glass of refreshment. After A few very nice glasses of Alberino and a bowl of large soft tasty olives we left suitably satisfied and refreshed. The wine bar is decorated in a very dark colour which really suits the building. But the colouring must come into its own at night and become very atmospherict. There are some lovely comfy seating areas and bar stool spots too. Lovely fireplace as you would expect in a building of its age. Very relaxing. (Just a personal opinion I feel it Could do with some candlelights on the table even in the daylight just to soften the dark colour and create more atmosphere for daytime, with a little flickering light,) I did really like what they how they had decorated though.

This is an atmospheric dining space and the food was enjoyable. However on a cold evening the table we were shown to was in a draft every time the outside door opened. We were staying in the hotel in a suite and booked three weeks before through the hotel and we didn't feel this was the pick of the tables. Fortunately a table became vacant and we were able to move by the fire. I think the outter door needs to be kept closed and/or a heater installed over the door. If booking I would recommend asking for a table on the righr of the door (when going in) or in the back of the wine bar
