Had an evening out with friends. The food was ok. I was a bit disappointed with loads of tomatoes with only a small slice of bruschetta and only having 3 meatballs with a massive pile of linguine. It was expensive for what you got. The service was mediocre.

Place looked lovely and had booked, but we were seated in an alcove away from everything so couldn't enjoy the atmosphere, and was told there wasn't anywhere we could sit unless we went in the backroom which was empty so didn't see the point. But food was fabulous and will return .

Vegetarians be warned Casa has very very few vegetarian options. While other restaurants have increased their choices for vegetarians and vegans Casa seems to have gone the other way. But despite there being no indication on the menu that there is flexibility and the option to remove meat from some dishes, the chefs will do it and (in my experience at least) do a great job. It’s been a few years since we visited Casa, despising pretty close by. We used to go as a family a lot but the kids are bigger now and my wife and I made the most of a kid free evening for an evening out. We’re both vegetarian and we’re surprised to find fewer veggie choices now than we remember from our last visit. While every vegetarian option had the option to “add chicken for £2” there was no “remove chicken and save £2” option to be found anywhere. Even a “can be ordered as vegetarian/vegan option” would have been both good and easy. I asked if I could have the “Penne pasta with chicken and pesto” without chicken and save £2 and was told I couldn’t save the £2 but could change chicken to other ingredients. So I went for mushroom and chilli as a chicken replacement and I have to say that the result was outstanding. It’s such a shame the chef’s obvious ability to make varied and interesting meat free dishes isn’t reflected anywhere on the menu, this review would be 5-star if it was.

Whilst in Evesham today we decided to pop in on the off chance for some food, it looked nice from the outside and upon walking in we were greeted and shown to a table, the menu full of great Italian dishes at reasonable price's, the drinks were quick, the starters straight after and the mains soon came out after, we were full but of course had desert too. The food was excellent, the service exceptional, the restaurant itself with a clean and smart atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Average. Risotto tasty but nothing special for £18 with chicken. Thought it expensive. Ambience a bit lacking with no music and dark interiors. Italian waitress charming but did seem a bit put upon - only staff member who knew what she was doing. Need more attention to detail with front of house.

Whilst this eatery boasts of being able to cater for up to 110 covers, goodness knows how many days it would take to serve two or three courses to this number of Customers!? The quality of the food was fine 7, maybe even 8/10; however, authentic Italian it isn't! Yes, the dishes are of Italian origin, but if there is an Italian chef present, whatever you do, don't entertain Mama, or she'll disown you! My Wife and I ate on a Saturday evening, arriving after the rush. We assumed the level of attentiveness could/would be better at this time - WRONG! What is needed is a properly trained Manager/Maitre di sala (Maître d'), who can then, in-turn, train the waiting staff. There doesn't seem to be much of a system in-place, and if one exists, then it needs retuning, as it's not fit for purpose! The waiting staff were definitely not attentive, much of which, comes with training and experience - the rest, down to a desire to achieve high standards; I suggest there might be a lack of 'team-spirit' - which subtends from the top down. There's an ocean of difference between a relaxed atmosphere and the apparent casual indifference displayed, and it should be possible to motivate the youths employed, to willingly provide a higher, more cheerful, level of service. Even with the absence of the owners, who live elsewhere, with greater attention to detail, this venue could easily, not only double its turnover, but become a Mecca to Italophiles near and far. We came in the hope of countering the opinions of others before us, but left, disappointed to find we couldn't award 80% (4 out of 5), only 73%; therefore a good 3 out of 5.

I don't usually do a review of a restaurant after only one visit; however, since we don't go out for dinner in Evesham often, I decided I should do this one. A truly wonderful experience here. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. My wife and I started with the Bread and Olives with dip. Then, moved on to our mains. My wife had the vegetarian pizza and I had the Linquini alla Pescatora. The mussels were well presented and very tasty. We had a bottle of Italian white wine with the meal which was very good and reasonably priced. We are looking forward to our next visit and hope to bring more guests.

We ate here for my brother in laws 60th birthday. The staff were all friendly, efficient and very hard working. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the restaurant accommodated bringing our own birthday cake. A very enjoyable eveving.

Our first experience here was very good, nice meal, good service. So we went back with our 10 yr old granddaughter. What a let down - the service was like pulling teeth. They weren't even busy. It was utterly amateur. My husband's food & granddaughter's pizza were nice, but my starter was absolutely laced with salt. It had the potential to be delicious; gamberi - but it was almost inedible. And I love salty food - if it's too salty for me, it's salty! Told the person who appeared to be the manager for the evening, gormless and useless and no attempt at an apology. Said she'd informed the kitchen not to put too much salt in our main course - that was it! Tonight we ordered pizza for takeaway, as our granddaughter is staying with us again. One Margerita (it's the only pizza she'll eat) and one Con Carne Mista (which my husband had ordered on our first visit) for us. My husband drove from Hampton to collect. When it came to dishing up, our pizza looked odd and we didn't think it was what we'd ordered, but we weren't sure. It had prawns on it and we were pretty sure the one he'd had in the restaurant didn't. I bit into a piece, and omg, the salt! It was disgusting, and clearly not what we'd ordered. Husband phoned up, and yes, they'd got the order wrong and he had to drive all the way back to collect what we'd actually paid for. In the meantime granddaughter had started to eat her Margerita - only to reject it after 2 slices as it was overcooked and hard - burnt in fact. See photos. Phoned husband to get him to tell them but he'd already left the restaurant. Staff at restaurant apologetic over getting the order wrong, but no attempt at refunding any of the cost to cover the inconvenience etc. After gd's pizza was inedible and our pizza being wrong, not to mention biting into a God awful salty prawn one, by the time we got the right one neither one of us was in the mood for pizza or food full stop. An expensive and highly inconvenient evening. After first eating there and being impressed, we thought we'd found a new go-to place for dinner, seeing as the other Italian eateries in the town are not open in the evenings. But never again. If they can't maintain a standard over three visits then forget it. And there's no excuse for poor service, especially when there's three waiting on and the place is virtually empty. They've lost lunchtime, dinner & takeaway custom from us. The personal service, the quality of the food, and the attention to detail are all far superior at Delicious & Flavours - what a shame they're not open in the evenings. Quite disgusted with this evening's experience at Casa. What if one of us had had a shellfish allergy . . .

Went as part of a family birthday party, staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food (Penne Chicken Pesto) was absolutely lovely, tasty, hot and plentiful and very reasonably priced! Thank you Casa!!

First dined here 6 years ago. Always said that if we were back in the area we would certainly come back. We booked with some friends for Wednesday night. The meal was excellent as expected. Great value, and extremely generous portions. Staff were very friendly. Interesting point was that we mentioned that we were eating there to a local shop owner. She said that her and her husband ate there on a regular basis. No hesitation in recommending. Honestly, can't understand the poor reviews. Living in Leeds, we're obviously not short of fine Italian restaurants, I would certainly place Casa in the top range for overall experience.

We had a birthday celebration family meal here recently, enjoyed by all! We all thought the food was delicious and the portions were very generous! The wait staff were very polite and attentive and were even happy to sing “Happy Birthday” to the birthday girl when bringing out her desserts, to make the meal extra special! A lovely place to eat in Evesham!

Visited on Saturday evening for the first time, as we were staying overnight in Evesham for the battle weekend. Can't fault the food here, both our starters and mains were of generous proportions and of great quality. Service from the waitresses was good, the only downside being the length of time it took for the food to arrive - about 20 minutes for the starters and over an hour later for the mains so my advice is don't be in a hurry if you want to eat here. Otherwise a great experience in a restaurant to be recommended!

Do not touch this place absolutely shocking service this evening and the so called manager didn’t care and when highlighted the meal was rushed he did nothing but walk off. Will never visit this place again.

I hate to leave a negative review on what used to be one of the best places to have a meal in Evesham, but we left feeling very annoyed. All myself and my husband wanted to do, was to have a romantic, quiet meal and leave. We knew it would be busy on account of the fact that it was a Saturday evening, but it doesn’t excuse the slow and subpar service. We were seated fairly promptly and our starters and drinks were quick to arrive. The waitress asked us if we wanted our main and starters together, or if we wanted a gap. We asked for a short gap. The starter was absolutely beautiful but that’s where the positivity ended. After our starter, we were sat for about an hour waiting for our main course. During that time, no one bothered to come over and see if we wanted any drinks or anything else. Even when I started to look around to try and get the attention of the staff, I was ignored. Eventually, someone came over after I put my hand up. I asked her for the receipt for the drinks and the starters because the main was taking far too long. She sent the supposed manager over, who explained that our main courses would be five minutes and then went on to say that there was a large party who’d had to preorder. However, we weren’t to know this. At no point was there an apology. Another TEN minutes went by and then our mains came out. My husbands calzone was undercooked and my chicken dish was liberally sprinkled with rosemary leaves (which I almost choked on). When we received our bill (after being there for 2 hours and 15 minutes), there was no apology or reimbursement or any drinks on the house to make up for the long delay. Had there been any of those, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But they clearly couldn’t care less that they had spoilt our evening. Which is a huge shame because I’ve always loved coming to Casa.

An Italian person would get a heart attack going to this restaurant! The waiter didn't know the menu, no recommendation, no up selling, no check back, no management around. We waited a long time for our food (I understand fresh food takes time to cook but our dishes did not required such a long time to be prepped and the restaurant was not busy). The pasta were over cooked. The pork saltimboca was swimming in water. Lack in seasoning. The garden wasn't looked after very well and the middle of the restaurant is dull. This is definitely not an authentic Italian cuisine!

I first visited Casa Cucina in 2016 and wrote a positive review. I enjoyed several more delicious meals but hadn't been since before lockdown. I have just had dinner there with two friends and the atmosphere, quality and service is still excellent, as I remember it. My friends enthused about their pasta arrabbiata and risotto. I had pork saltimbocca, my menu favourite, but was a little disappointed. The pork wasn't very tender, nor did it have the wonderful flavour I remember. Maybe they have changed suppliers? That said, the accompanying potatoes were beautifully cooked and the wine and sage sauce was delicious. For dessert we had affogato which went down a treat. So refreshing. Will come again, but perhaps avoid the pork.

We had been recommended to Casa by the lady receptionist at our hotel. After a nice evening stroll we arrived early doors to a really nice welcome and the most fantastic meal. Certainly 5 star in my opinion and without doubt return on our next visit to Evesham.

We visited Casa last weekend and were all left impressed The food was all very nice and the service from the staff was excellent. The venue looks very nice throughout and has a great atmosphere. The food prices were fair with good portion sizes. Far too many places have terribly small portion sizes so we were very pleased. Great restaurant that none of us could fault. I visited at the weekend for the first time in seven years. It took that long to revisit as the last time I ate here the chicken was stone cold on the inside and had made me ill. As it was a friends birthday I visited again at the weekend. The decor is still as nice as it was the last time I visited and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food hadn't improved. I ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce. The sauce I received was mushroom, which I can not eat and the although I asked for the steak to be cooked medium it arrived overcooked and was incredibly tough to eat, definitely not worth the £22 it cost! As it was a friends birthday I didn't want to make a fuss complaining, but needless to say that after giving the restaurant another chance I won't be returning in the future.

Absolutely amazing!!! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff were great and very welcome. The food was a wonderful surprise. I had pasta with prawn, garlic and pistachios as a main and it was one of the best Italian dishes I have ever had. Absolutely fabulous service. Second to none that we’ve experienced in a while. We couldn’t get a taxi back to our hotel and the manager Yani did 2 trips to ensure that we got back safely. Without any shadow of a doubt next time we go to Evesham we will definitely go back.

Ooh! What can I say? Just pure perfection!! I always opt for the seafood Linguine. Being allergic to tomatoes they are always so kind to give an alternative white sauce. The lasagne is huge!! The other half said it was the best he had ever had!. Very cosy! The atmosphere is like no other! Extremely friendly staff!

I have been to this restaurant several times over the years. Popped in again last week and for Pizza and it was lovely! Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Will be back when I'm in the area again.

This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to and that includes ones in Italy. The setting is great inside, the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The portions are huge, I had the Sofia Pizza and it was huge with large amounts of meat and full of flavour. We saw people taking doggie bags out! If we were local, we would be regulars. Great evening!
