If you don’t want to ruin your day and want to enjoy your food, please DO NOT go to this place. Staff were so rude especially the lesbian manager and doesn’t know what customer service is. They don’t understand English at all. The food was all microwaved. What a waste of money!!!

"We used to come to this restaurant frequently to dine. Unfortunately, the manager has a bad attitude and seems to disregard the customers. I genuinely hope that the management takes some action regarding this matter. They should talk to her and make her understand that providing excellent customer service is crucial in the catering business. Although the food is fantastic, the manager's attitude is unacceptable.

This is a wonderful welcoming restaurant which we go to regularly coming a distance from Central London. We prefer it to the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. The food is great quality and large portions. The Laksa and the rice and noodle dishes are huge. So take a plastic box for your doggy bag. They charge 50p for a box. No point keeping a collection of these at home. Beware that the Tom Yam soup is very spicy. The Dim Sum is freshly made and piping hot. So preferable to the large restaurants with trolleys for Dim Sum. In short well worth a journey.

**The staff want to punish us I recently had an incredibly unpleasant experience at Lychee Bay that I feel compelled to share. Upon arriving at the restaurant with three others, we waited patiently for about 5 minutes before a staff member finally came to serve us. To our surprise, she did not bother to ask if we were all present and immediately directed us to a table. Once seated, we tried to place our orders, but were informed by the staff that if even one of us was missing, they would take the table away and we would have to wait for another one. Not wanting to risk this, we decided to go ahead and place our orders, as my husband was just outside the door. However, a staff member with short hair, who seemed to think she ran the entire restaurant, decided to assert her authority by instructing her colleagues not to take our orders. When I explained that my husband was only a minute away, she threatened to give us just 5 minutes to wait, or else we would have to leave. To our relief, my husband joined us within 30 seconds, and we attempted to place our orders. But that same staff member approached us with an unbelievably rude attitude and asked if we were "not happy." Confused, I responded affirmatively. In an absurd turn of events, she stated that she would not take our order until we expressed happiness. It left us wondering - did she want to punish us? Did she expect an apology from us? Desperate to place our orders, we attempted, multiple times, to ask other staff members if they could help us. Unfortunately, we were informed that they were not allowed to take our order until we said we were happy. The entire situation was utterly ridiculous. Shocking still, the staff member with short hair proudly declared that if I were not happy, she had the right to refuse us service, even invoking the law. The audacity! I never argued with her; we simply wanted to have our lunch in peace. It appeared as though she believed herself to be some sort of monarch, with the power to control who remained in the restaurant. I am aware that Lychee Bay is a busy Chinese restaurant, and I know that nearly 60% of its customers are from our church, particularly after Sunday service. While I did not expect any special treatment, I never anticipated being treated with such contempt and arrogance. This staff member clearly thinks she owns the world. I realize that a negative review from me may not have a significant impact on their business. However, I implore Lychee Bay to take this matter seriously. If this staff member is indeed the boss, and no changes are made, I can confidently say that I will never return, and I will share my horrendous experience with everyone I know. It is imperative that this company addresses such behavior, as no business should permit its staff to treat customers as subordinates and attempt to punish or intimidate them based on personal feelings. I sincerely hope that Lychee Bay values its patrons and makes the necessary changes to ensure such incidents do not recur.

Came here with three young teenagers, few minutes walk from a Westfield shopping day. We had the set meal for 4 people, which was course after course of great food. Really enjoyed it and all left feeling contentedly stuffed full. Kept them fuelled for the rest of the day with just a snack for tea, which is no mean feat. Had been six months before, looking forward to a trip again soon when we're in Westfield again.

Lovely restaurant interior resembles the HOng Kong junk boats. Great choice of Cantonese dishes and tastes that rivals this in China town. I was sad when one of the established restaurant closed its doors in China town but now I found a little gem here in Sheppards bush which I can’t wait to try out all the dishes.

After being open 30 years - and having visited it numerous times, New Leaf has now closed. It's a real shame as it was a great restaurant with delicious dumplings (and real value for money).

The best Singapore noodles outside of Chinatown, and great fat vegetable pancake roll, backed up with thick slices of roast pork char Sui on a bed of cabbage. Very good portions and ready for the take away in 10 minutes.
