A lovely cosy and friendly place. Great for Gluten Free options. Could have almost anything from the menu. Had lamb hotpot with gluten free bread and was delicious and hot. Will definitely go again when shopping there

This is a great little cafe/ restaurant in the middle of Chorley. We initially went in there for a quick coffee but met up with friends so we stayed over 3 hours and ended up having a light lunch there as well. It was spotlessly clean and their coffee and teas were good. Their waitress service was courteous and quick and prices were very reasonable for being in the centre of town. Their food menu is fairly comprehensive and you certainly won't go hungry here. Everything from toasted sandwiches to full meals are available. The cakes are tasty too. We particularly liked the cosiness and friendliness of the place Highly recommended- we will return. 😄👋

Whilst doing some christmas shopping in Chorley, time had evaded us and we wanted a late lunch. We'd been meaning to try Lucy's Kitchen for a while but it's always been busy. It was mid week and after 2pm and saw that there was plenty of tables available. It was bitter outside and the fire was lit so we found the table closest to it. We opted for a toastie and I had the hotpot with beetroot off the special board. Service was quick and I loved the old style teapot. The style of the place is a little different to most places and had a rustic & cosy feel. We will definitely be visiting again next time we're in town and have recommended to family to visit :-)

The clean and rustic interior combined with freshly cooked food and excellent service makes this a gem of a place to eat. The menu may be limited due to the size of the kitchen but what they do is always good and makes it always worth a visit.

Went to fry-days this evening for the first time, had traditional chippy food rather than Chinese so chips, fish cakes, etc. and it was absolutely delicious. The chip portions are huge (we got two large chips to share between 3 and ended up only needing the one portion), and the lady running the chippy was very apologetic for food taking time to cook (please don’t ever apologise for the food being cooked fresh). Lovely business and lovely food. Will definitely be back again.

Shapla is a brilliant local spot for Indian food. The dishes are always fresh, packed with flavour, and generously portioned. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you’re picking up a quick meal or ordering for a feast, you can always count on top-quality food. Highly recommend!
