Lucy's in Ards

An absolutely cracking wee chip shop, hard to find and not much to look at but an absolute gem. We had haddock and chips and everything was cooked to perfection, no fuss, no nonsense just proper fish n chips and good portions. It's getting harder and harder to find a decent fish and chip shop and this wee place is well worth a visit if you appreciate a good fish supper.

After a walk along the beach time for food. Service quick and food tasty enough. All looked clean and tidy inside. As was said previously don't book a book by its cover.

Great quality, price & menu choice in Lucys and theres always good craic with the professional but friendly staff.

OK it doesn't look anything spectacular from outside ... its just a door... But inside you get an excellent serving of food... freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. Chip ahoy is good but Lucy's is better.

Lucy's chippy is located in Portavogie which is perfect when you want the best fresh fish! The staff are always happy and chatty. They have a vast menu including kiddies meals. My favourite take away is the chicken strips supper with super gravy. But you cant come here without trying the yummy fish bites! Get yourself to Lucy's

Wouldn’t go to any other chip shop in the peninsula! 100% recommend to everyone! Southern fried boneless and peppered sauce is unreal!

Lucy's chip shop is great. The best on the Peninsula. They do a phone order collection. Always happy smiling staff. Their chicken strips and chicken gravy are the best! Very clean shop. Worth calling into if your in the area in an evening.

Best chippy in Portavogie. Good food, friendly staff, very clean. Varied menu, well priced. Food can be pre-ordered for faster collection at busy times.

This has got to be the best chip shop on the Ards Peninsula. Great choice all freshly made while you wait, also a phone in and collection service. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is by far the best chippie around. Regularly eat from here..great portions, fresh fish on their doorstep. Very friendly staff..what's not to like!! If you haven't been just try it, you won't be disappointed!!

Really liked the fish, no unnecessary extra batter (as some places do), kids particularly liked the chicken nuggets
