Lucky Takeaway in Flintshire

Good value, never had a bad meal here. Staff are always friendly, and parking is fine if you nip into the social club car park.

I had a great take away from lucky’s this weekend. Special curry was delicious and my partner had chicken and mushrooms which she enjoyed.. the portions were big, the staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable .. I will 100% be going again. Thanks lucky’s. 👍

As our usual takeaways were shut, we thought we’d try Lucky. Unfortunately, the food tasted of oil and did not have much flavour. The chips were very soggy, and a lot of the food seemed rushed and undercooked. The salt and pepper chicken tasted like salt and oil, and prawn toast tasted undercooked inside, however was almost burnt on the outside. The prawn crackers and fried rice were good, however the curry sauce was very watery with not much flavour. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, however I would really hate people to spend over £30 to be disappointed. I tried to cook the food a little more in our oven, however I still found the food the be inedible and it had to be binned.

We ordered a chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken in the curry was cubed, with hard edges and had a tofu like texture. The chicken in the sweet and sour dish was mostly batter with hardly any chicken. Won’t be going back.

The ladies are lovely, friendly welcome and service. The chips in my opinion are the nicest in the area. The Chinese food is excellent too. Highly recommended. Deserves more praise than it gets. Thumbs up from me.

The fish and chips were very disappointing as the batter was not crisp and looked pale and anemic and looked under cooked - needless to say we will not be returning.

I have been to luckys many times, I ordered a Beef curry and fried rice. On my arrival the young lady behind the counter went to get our meal from the kitchen, she came through with the fried rice in one container and just fried beef and onions in the other, she then proceeded to just add curry sauce on top of this, I was shocked as I do not class that as a proper curry. Needless to say I will not be ordering again.

been coming here for years since Ty had the takeaway , amazing curry and ribs. try the duck and black bean sauce and that curry samosas yum!
