extremely disappointed in tonight's meal. chow mein was extremely dry and distinct lack of beef with no sauce/gravy just extremely dry. the crispy chicken peking "sauce" was more like a spicy watery liquid and has spilled out of the container into the bag on arrival. When we tried to put the rest onto the rice to eat it looked awful and the "sauce" was so runny it ran straight through the rice leaving a watery puddle on the bottom of the plate. sweet and sour was lovely

The person on the phone is honestly the rudest person ever. They said the order was on the way, and 30 mins later it still wasn’t here. So I phoned back, and she said I cancelled and got a refund when I never did. Then she said she would remake it all and it would only take 20 mins, but 40 mins later it finally came. I ordered at 6 and got it at 8:20 pm. Honestly, don’t bother ordering from them. The person on the phone is rude!!!

Will never order from here again, first and last! Waited almost 2 hours for my order, kids were starving! When it came half the order was missing and some was wrong! And the food wasn’t that nice never again!!!!

The salt levels are off the charts. If you try to force your tongue to taste past the salt all you find is the taste of cornstarch. Fried rice was overcooked into stodgy oblivion, no texture. Sorry to the chef but not really - you’ve probably taken a year off my life with the amount of salt I just ate!

2 and a half hours wait! Food arrived absolutely stone cold sauce was thick and lumpy it was that cold , to then be told I owe them £27.80 when my food was only £15.30 including £2.50 for sauce to be added on this was including my delivery fee absolutely appalling will not be back

If I could give no stars I would, I ordered from this place and then called up to ask how long my food will be the woman said 1 hour. I say ok so then one hour goes by no sign of my food so then I called again and she said the driver has my food because she doesn’t see it there and it should be with me any time soon. 2 hours goes by still no sign then 2 and a half hours still no sign so then I call back and she proceeds to tell me she never seen my order through Deliveroo, so then why is she giving me a time frame? This must be some sort of joke I wait that long to then get told at the end she never received my order what an absolute joke DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

this is my favourite place and been on a diet and family member from Highlands came so ordered and took over two hours to come. salt t and chili chips burnt and cold definitely not worth the money. curry sauce and soups has to go in the microwave . hate to put this as always find here great but I am so annoyed

Chicken balls where overdone and the special chow mein wasn’t so special, it was dry and the noodles where horrible. Still got the full thing there. King prawns in it where nice and the sweet and sour sauce was lovely

my meal was on ti.e but very very cold had to put in micro and oven so not very nice heating it up for the shop being a mile away not happy

Ordered barbecue spare ribs. Came in like a cremated tasting sauce. Satay sauce had half a packet of salt inside it And got sent mushy rice for Singapore fried rice. Never ever ever ever again will I order from it worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had

Satay chicken was terrible! Nothing Thai satay I could recognize. The mix platter was stale and dry. The Kong Po was 80% sugar and maybe MSG based. The free prawn crackers were great.

Food is usually very good, chow mein was pretty bland this time, order eta was 2245-2305 but showed up just before midnight so that's the let down... other than that all good.

Placed a order online took payment but no received so called no answer on the phone so went down to the place to see it closed due to a family circumstances but should be posted online saying place down without taking my money I'm so disappointed as I don't normally have this issue. Like my refund back please thanks

I ordered 'Barbecue spare ribs' as I often do from Lucky Cottage. 'Barbecue spare ribs' are 'dry'. I have ordered them many times from this restaurant. Unfortunately, these came in a sickly sugary sauce 'a kind that is also on the menu' so clearly it was a mistake by whoever put the order together. I had to put them in the bin and open a tin of ham. We will not be ordering from 'Lucky Cottage' again.

Never received my 7-UP, and the delivery driver brought a dog onto my property and it tried to come into the house where I have a cat. Duck is good. As always.

Food never arrived. Over £30 been took from my account and when trying to call the restaurant either says line busy or rang out saying the place wasn't available now. Unacceptable and will be reported.

**I placed order for fresh made tender ribs*** N I received 4 ribs which were s dry to the bone as that’s all that was there dry bones with no meat I had even asked to make sure ribs were fresh yeh that was ignored and sent 4 large bones absolutely nothing on the bones except the chilli salt used to season the bones not one piece off meat on robes that’s a shame really for a eatery as no one will have confidence in purchasing from

the beef is from the set meal as a waste of money, pool of curry sauce bottom of bag everything covered, soup bit bland, bbq ribs was covered in some black sauce all dried up. whole experience very cheap, homeless person type cheap

This is/ was my favourite Chinese. However tonight was the first time I have been slightly disappointed. Chicken fried rice was not to normal standards and couldn't eat but usually this is a great place. Sorry to have to write this as it would usually bet first choice

Ordered a meal for 2..The soups were leaking all over bag. The beef satay was more like a beef curry (unidentified sauce), the sweet and sour chicken wasn't the best. The sauce was disgusting and the chicken like chicken poppers..The ribs were vile, my dog knocked them back. Would not order again, very disappointed. Delivered very quickly, felt very thrown together.

Food was good however I have been left extremely disappointed in the way the delivery driver spoke to me. I am not looking for vip treatment however I do not expect to be told this is the worst place I have ever had to deliver to. Now fair enough, I understand people can have a bad day yet as someone who works in retail and is someone that knows how to treat people in a positive and friendly manner regardless of the kind of shift they are having, I found his attitude totally unacceptable and unfortunately if I was to order again from the takeaway, I would want to make sure I got someone other this driver as this whole incident has left a bad taste in my mouth regardless of the standard of food.

Just moved in to Glasgow and got this takeaway the first night. Great, tasty food and friendly lady at the counter. Good to know we have a quality Chinese close by!

Food was good, however the ribs sauce was not to my taste, not a bad taste, but not to my palate.

Food was great, however it was 30 minutes late with no update from the restaurant.

I will never order out of this restaurant again as I have never had any meal delivered in anyway to me sorry and it was so cold I couldn't eat any of the meal that I paid for

The prawns were much more salty than usual. The order was over 40mins late and there was no communication from the shop to explain. I had them 15 mins after latest expected time of delivery.

I ordered from Lucky Cottage and my order didn’t arrive. They marked it that the order had been delivered and I had waited 88 minutes for my food. I phoned them and they pretended that they couldn’t hear me on the phone.

Woman on the phone is always lovely. This is the third time we have ordered from lucky cottage and the food is always unreal! Amazing salt and pepper dishes. Free prawn crackers and even some spring rolls tossed in! Now our Chinese of choice 🙌

Delivery drivers behaviour was appalling. He rang the bell and I hadn’t even got to my flat door to go down stairs and I could hear him battering furiously on the front door like he was trying to break in and his attitude was appalling. Never had such bad customer service in my life which is a shame because the food was good but it ruined the experience for me.

Out for delivery at 445pm. Delivered at 555pm. Every item is very, very cold. The curry was a gelatin when opened. The entire meal had to be completely reheated.
