¿Qué puedo decir, este lugar nunca deja de cumplir. La comida es deliciosa, el menú simplemente perfecto y la selección de pasteles es tan bueno como malo realmente como en ningún otro lugar. El personal es muy agradable y amable también. 🤍

Vale la pena visitarlo. Esta visita disfruté de huevos revueltos en tostadas de masa madre con tocino y una clara plana. Vale la pena esperar a la mesa.

Este es mi lugar favorito para el brunch en Sheffield. Esta vez opté por el Cajun Pork Eggs Benedict, y un Americano. ¡OMG! Magnífico. La carne de cerdo estaba bien cocida, y simplemente se vino abajo. Los huevos eran perfectos también! El personal es siempre acogedor con una sonrisa alegre y siempre hay una increíble extensión de pasteles en el mostrador. Confieso que tengo una oportunidad en la tarta de queso de fresa de esta semana, hermosa 😍 Sin duda volveré una y otra vez.

Fabulous local cafe. Delicious coffee. Amazing cakes. Superb brunches. We are so lucky to have this place nearby. Lovely people too.

Love it! Staff are friendly and the cakes are amazing. My friends think the menu is a bit too niche but I’m cool with it. Plenty of good breakfast/brunch options. It’s always busy on a Saturday so get there early!

Had drooled at the window of this little cafe when walking past and was looking forward to eating there. I was not disappointed. Met a friend for breakfast, we had Turkish style eggs and huevos rancheros both ample portions and very tasty. I took cakes home for my family which they devoured and have called in for cake ever since whenever there’s been available road parking. Excellent menu and cakes. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Just a little noisy for conversation.

Wonderful cafe, fresh delicious food and cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff and a huge selection on the menu. Can’t wait to return!

Delicious brunch had here, and the staff were lovely and friendly. I explained that I'm gluten free and it was taken very seriously. They were able to make any of the food gluten free by switching out the bread etc, other than the sausages, which of course were not gf. Really great coffee, delicious brunch, and a chilled out atmosphere. I only wish I had room for a cake! They all looked so delicious, lots of gluten free and vegan options there too! Will definitely come again if I'm ever back in Sheffield

We’ve been to the lovely pear regularly over the last few months and it is always amazing from the friendliness of the staff to the amazing fresh bakes. We’ve sat in for food and had takeaway it is always a treat. Definitely one of the best cafes + baked goods in Sheffield.

Excellent service, superb flat white & a generous lunch that I couldn’t quite finish. Super efficient but with great warmth & atmosphere. Deservedly busy. Looking forward to a return visit. Gorgeous place.

I cannot recommend and praise this café enough - it’s run by the nicest couple, so much choice for gluten-free food and the food delicious too. We live around the corner and go a few times a week, to pick up coffee and cake. Last week, we went for late breakfast and they were so accommodating for my coeliac disease. They just “get” it! Yes, they’re only open Wednesday to Sunday but that’s no reason for a negative review, you just look up the opening times 🙄 Can’t wait for their pie nights, starting on Friday! We love you, lovely pear team :-) (Sorry no pictures as too greedy 😂)

10 July, 2021. The first Bistro night and we were lucky to get a table! Ambience is always really welcoming and friendly, relaxed, informal. But the food is always top quality, and this first evening was no exception. We'd waited and waited for this evening, with lockdowns intervening more than once. Well worth the wait. Thanks, Sean, Lyndsey and the team.

As a self confessed coffee snob I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their coffee. I had a latte (temperature was just right) and raspberry almond slice, both were amazing. Looking forward to trying the brunch menu once they restrictions are lifted and we can dine inside.

On Friday evenings this place does a selected takeaway menu. Small and simple. We’ve been lucky enough to to sample this over the last few weekends. Last time I had ox cheek with cheesecake as suite. This time ham hock with sticky toffee pudding,my wife having braised aubergine followed by crumble. We can’t fault the food. Flavours are full as is the potion size. Extremely well cooked traditional food. I can’t wait to return but sadly it’s only every other Friday.the only reason for lockdown to continue!

Over the past few months I think we must have sampled most of the cakes and most of the food on the menu (though I do struggle to tear myself away from the Turkish Eggs). Everything is always delicious and even though I'm gluten free and don't eat meat, I'm never short for choice. The staff are extremely lovely and you're always welcomed and nothing is ever too much trouble. Coffee is amazing too, never had a bad one (and we've had a lot).

Our first ever Pieday Friday and what a hit, crispy onions on top and Henderson’s gravy made it! In true lovely pear style all delicious. Bring on the next Pieday Friday.

On our last visit our friends unknown to us bought us a voucher for the Lovely Pear. This was before lockdown. We decided to use the takeaway service. Everything perfect-my brunch was very, very nice and our cakes were to die for. We still have one voucher and we are looking forward to using it. Thank you.

With our friends we walked up to the Lovely Pear for a late lunch. It was busy and lively. Three of us had the bacon, absolutely delicious and Pat had smashed avocado which she also declared delicious. It is a very nicce cafe, with good service and a nice atmoshere. Really enjoyed it.
