Lounge 44 in Medway

Terrible customer service, terrible food that's not fresh, cold building with mouldy bathroom. Complained about two meals and sent them back because not even a desperate person would eat that for free and the waitress still added it to the bill with no apology for the appalling food which she claimed was cooked fresh when it clearly wasn't and was reheated and tasteless.

Lounge 44 is under New Management and the Food & Drinks is awesome . Please come and try it yourself.

It's was a lovely atmosphere the new management are really doing a brilliant job.

I was so unsatisfied with the food I ordered, and to think we were return customers, meat was so hard and I was literally given 3 pieces of hard meat 2 whole bones and chunks of pure fat for 15 pounds, and on top of ……. Let me not just go on. I think they can do better tho

Good afro-centric spot in Chatham. The food is good I must say. Steaming hot and tasty from the kitchen. You can also get Nigerian beers here, with Nigerian music. If you're familiar with Nigerian Beer Parlors, you know you're making new friends as soon as everyone starts drinking. Lol.

Fake positive review. Beware of food poisoning. I m making it a mission to alert Standard for food safety.. This is a bad joke..

Not a bad place for pre outing drinks. I didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. Part of the building was incomplete or a bit run down- rather strange. Music is good. This place has a lot of potential but needs to be tastefully done.

Please don't buy anything from this place. If there's is 0star I will give it. The fish is is half cooked, smelling, dry and tasteless and the plaintain was socked the oil. My child took a bite and was sick. When I called to complain, the person that picked the call was asking how did I know that the fish is smelling and was trying to tell me they did me a favour giving me plantain (paid over £50 for the food) I've to bin the food. Horrible service and waste of money. Tasty and Sliverspoon Kitchen are lots better. Never ordering in Lounge 44 again

Absolutely 0 stars food was stale and disgusting I and my guests could not eat it! Complete disgrace and humiliating. Should’ve listened to the review of the food being gross. BEWARE OF THIS TERRIBLE FOOD YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. Don’t make the same mistake as me! Disgrace to Nigerian food! I also ordered JOLLOF RICE was TERRIBLE , and the seafood ocro was tasteless. The fish is a disgrace , ordered 2. both went straight to the bin !

Place is deader then some yt girls motive kmt . Food coming dry like it was from Sahara desert and uncooked like it was still in the fields . If u find urself here , RUN FAST.

Loved the food here, all of it was totally new to me but the waiter helped talk us through the options. The Beef Suya and Jolof Rice were the highlights for me. Some great Nigerian drinks were available (try the Orijin!) and really good too. It was super quiet for a Saturday early evening, which is a shame as a place with food this good deserves to be packed full.

Excellent food and amazing service. I would recommend any day!

No Afro Caribbean restuarant in Medway like Lounge 44, it's a place to be!
