Great food! Been ordering from them for years. I think the portions could be slightly bigger. They deliver to you very quick as well!!

I bought some lovely food for me and my mother and it was delicious and at a very reasonable price.

The best takeaway ive ever had. The only takeaway I use now. Love it every time. And deliveries are pretty quick.

Just ordered from here as our local was closed. Oh my!!! This food was absolutely delicious.. Satay beef, chicken curry, special fried rice, pancake rolls... Everything was piping hot and the tastiest any of us had ever had. Delivery exactly at the estimated time.. Received a lovely complimentary selection of treats which was so lovely. Thank you so very much.

Just had a Chinese from lotus House, east bank Road, Sheffield. Haven't been there for 25 years, was prepared to be disappointed, far from it best I've had in a long time. My go to from now on in Sheffield

Had a takeaway delivery from Lotus due to our usual Chinese being closed, Lotus will now be our go to place. We ordered online, the food came in reasonable time, was piping hot, fab portion sizes & quality ingredients.

Shocking ! Do NOT order from HERE. After waiting 2 HOURS I rang and asked where my order was and they had forgot. So I asked what they could do for me and they said £2 off! And they didn’t care about it at all. So then a further 40 minutes goes by and it arrives and items from the order were MISSING. This was a £60 order so I’ve still paid that amount to get LESS FOOD. They didn’t tell the driver about the situation so then he didn’t give me my order at the door until he rang the shop back to ask. It was stone cold to top it off.

I order from here frequently and the food is always delicious. The deliver driver is always very friendly and when I have been in myself the staff have also been very nice. The food is always great and comes quickly whilst still being hot.

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered food and was charged for it, and after calling for an update 1hr and 40mins later I was told they could no longer find the order, and could not issue a refund. After explaining 3 times that I had been charged and after being screamed at down the phone by the owner who just said it was tough and if I wanted any money back I would have to drive to them, I spoke to FoodHub and a refund was initiated within 30seconds, and I was told the shop had received and accepted the order. A complete lack of integrity. After having used this takeaway for the 3yrs I have lived in Sheffield, I will never return. I have never been treated with less respect.

Oh my god...what can I say? PERFECTION! the chicken balls are massive and juicy, very nice indeed and the food has always been of the HIGHEST quality and the owners are great people. :)👌

I changed one of my orders, i wanted to no vegetables in my chow main but i wanted mushrooms, they did it. Never really had a problem from here if i have ive just phoned them and they have sorted it

First time ordering, Friend recommended this Takeaway. Personally I'd like to visit the shop, I spent £29 for the Takeaway and gave £5 to delivery person. I loved the cardboard box for the special platter, yet disappointed with everything else, chicken and roast pork chow mein where was the pork lack of taste, after thought I asked for a recommendation for rice they said special rice. Fantastic customer service, My next order will be a cash order definitely. 👍

One of the best ones I've had in Sheffield over the past 7 years...everything piping hot, good balance of flavours and it all tasted fresh compared to all other local takeaways I've tried. Will use again

My son ordered on Just Eat and i asked him to order me a special fried rice - it arrived in a round plastic tupperware and looked quite nice - but when i opened it was the foulest smell - there was definately something gone off in the rice - it was so bad i just had to throw the whole thing - will NEVER order again from here

Ordered from here as my usual one was closed. Big mistake, ordered salt & pepper chips, basically chips what have been fried about 4 times, dry & tasteless for £3.90! Chicken chow mien is slimes & it tastes like quorn, not chicken. Never again. Use a different Chinese takeaway.

Absolutely not worth the 90 min wait

We got our food at 9.45 pm but ordered it at 7 pm. This was over 1 hour 35 minutes late and too late at night for me to eat, sampled the food which tasted just ok, but that was it. I wouldn't recommend Lotus House as: 1, Late delivery - (over 1hr 35mins) 2, They lied when called them up about delivery time. 3, The food wasn't worth the wait. 4, Gave me a £3 refund?

Been using almost weekly for the past year, excellent food on every occasion. When delivered its always piping hot, and usually before the estimated time, when collected its ready to pick up in no time at all! On top of that the food is excellent! Good quality, plenty of it. Best Chinese I've had in ages!

Very disappointed missed off half our order then said we hadn’t ordered it. Half a meal between 3 people 😭 The food was nice enough just a shame most of it didn’t come

Food arrived cold had to microwave . The beef was not edible . Would never use again .

Delivery service was good - starter was good - went downhill after that! Crispy duck was probably the worst I've ever had and I've had quite a few. Crispy bit was burnt beyond crispy and tasted burnt - the duck was so dry that nothing would have revived it. As well as ordering a Chefs Special Banquet for 2 (most expensive on the menu) - also ordered a portion of chips and a single sausage for my wife's 88 year old aunt who is a fussy eater and has limited choices - the sausage didn't arrive with the meal. What an appalling outfit - my recommendation is to go elsewhere.

Best chinese in Sheffield! Order here most weekends and it’s consistently good. It is always piping hot and receive free prawn crackers and cans of pop with orders over £15.

absoulty discusting, I'd give it zero stars if I could. food was not even edible. chips over cooked like they'd been re fried over and over. and the soup was just hot water no exaggeration and the wontons was still fully frozen in the middle. we had to throw the whole thing away.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS .ordered on just eat tonight waited 1 1/2 hours and no food , rung takeaway they said not recieved order,so rung just eat ,they rung takeaway and they wanted just eat to cancel the order and reorder ,bearing in mind we had already paid on just eat !!! what a joke !!! never got to taste food and never ever will taste the food as we will never ever use again . we use just eat on a regular basis and never come across this problem before ........

We have just eaten the most amazing Chinese takeaway food ever ... It was on par with a Chinese restaurant but a third of the cost . Service was quick , and everything was red hot .. could tell it was all freshly cooked too . Wonderful takeaway , we will defo be using your services much more ... I would recommend this long established Chinese takeaway to everyone .. Thank you for a brilliant meal .

I ordered from lotus afew times but my last order was we had sweet sour Cantonese style as i was dishing it on to plate a found a small black like Beatle( looked like a baby cockroach) stay clear

Chow mein just tasted burnt! And the chicken was slimy and looked pumped full of something just not nice chicken! Never used before won't rush back

Lotus House is under new management. Please ignore any previous reviews posted before this post. Leaflets are in development aswell as under-going, refurbishment.The menu is available on just eat. Order took 1 hour and half to be delivered and our 'meat' dishes contained no meat!

Was nice and hot but the shredded crispy beef discusting had to bin it like scraps and onions no beef in it at all shocking but chow Mein was nice but wouldn't order from there again

Ordered the squid, tiny bit of squid but 3/4 full of onions........

Delivery was later than stated and containers were only half full but it tasted great

First time ordering and I can definitely recommend the food. It came early which was a bonus and the food was belting

Fast delivery only problem bag wasn't packed great and the sauce off one of the dishes ran all in the bag. Good was nice.

Really wanted to like the food it was delivered in super quick time but the food was awful. Rice old and greasy the coconut dish was very watery and tasteless the crispy beef was a very pale strange colour it just didn't taste right I threw it all in the bin 🙁

Very fresh, it's rare to see a vegetable from a takeaway restaurant that still has its natural colour and crunch. food was early, hot and full of flavour. Don't order prawn crackers as a side though, they already send a tonne!

The food delivery was amazing came to me within 20 minutes of ordering We were quite shocked how quickly it came. However the food was appalling the only item on my list that was cooked that evening was the spring rolls Everything else was from the night before and definitely refried the crispy shredded beef was disgusting The rice had been reheated as yhe texture was rubber and greasy My friend who was wuth me is a chef and was disgusted My friends and family will not order grom here also Now we understand why the delivery was amazing Will not be ordrring from here again

I've been trying to find a good Chinese take away since I moved into this area and just couldn't find one..until I ordered from here. Food was half an hour early, hot and wasn't greasy. Definitely be ordering from here again😊
