Orderd food at 6.15 pm to be delivered 8pm received txt 10 mins before arrival to say unable to deliver shocking behaviour and if I'm honest food is not the best just thought I'd give it another go stay well away

The egg fried rice not up to scratch. Couldn't eat the chicken and pineapple. Chicken was awful like rubber. Crispy chicken and beef with sweet and sour sauce was lovely though. Have had better meals from here in the past

We waited over the hour that was said it would be but phoned lotus house to be told that their busy and the food would be with us on the next delivery which was about 25minutes so we waited again after telling them to please phone us if it was going to be any longer because we ordered the food at 19:40pm and it was almost two hours later but still no food or even a phone call so we then phoned them and asked them roughly how long more would we be waiting they then said the food was on its way to us all but after waiting another hour and 45minute so we waiting for 3 and half hours for food and we only had we are busy sorry

Food was late. I was trying to phone the restaurant and could not get through at all to find out where my meal was!! But the meal finally arrived it was nice.

Food was 2 hours late. I phoned the restaurant twice and each time they promised me it would be 5 minutes. When the food finally arrived we were missing items. The food we had was barely warm and tasteless. We won’t be ordering from here again.

this is absolutely awful, I have a pregnant girlfriend at home and on a Tuesday evening we had to wait 2 hours for food, when the food did finally arrive it was cold! this is by far the worst restaurant I have ever ordered from, I can assure you that I won’t be ordering from here again and I do not recommend to anyone to order from this awful place

Ordered at 8.30 delivery time was given for 9.35... didn't arrive till 10.05 .

We were told our order would take 45 mins to be delivered. It actually took 90 mins. The food itself was OK. It was warm but lacked the taste of our usual take away. The sweet n sour chicken batter was very thin and the sauce was extremely sour. Probably won't return. But it was OK

arrived very late about and 1 hour and 25 min's phoned three time kept on telling me that it would be 15 mins at the most , was an ONE hour and 25 mins

I forgot to alter my address since moving. They quickly helped and got my order to my new address

had to cancel order was an hour late and when I rang they were still waiting for the driver to come back before ours even being sent out, which would have taken 15 mins to get to us from them anyway. was a first time order and won’t order again, shocking service for literally 2 all in one tray orders!!! can’t comment on food quality but service and delivery time awful.

One of my fav chineses’ but shocking last night! I ordered it 8:30 told it would be here 9:30 then phoned at 9:40 and they said it was on the way, phoned again at 10 for them to say it was still cooking and would be another 20 mins, finally had the food at 10:30!!

After waiting for a delivery time of 1 hour 20 minutes. The food was late and must have been in the insulated bag for ages. Soggy chips and soggy chicken balls. Wont order from here again.

Why give a false time for food when they cannot deliver on time they text you to say it’s on it’s way but it’s not takes the Micky when your order takes nearly two hours to come get another driver it may help your business

Ok this might be a little late to review but about to ordered Chinese again to remember my previous order. I had 2 lots of chicken balls every single one was gooey instead and nobody eat them what a complete waste of almost £10. Food took about 1 and half hours to arrive and was freezing. Could not contact the shop was without a phone at the time that's why I ordered online. Will not be ordering from here again

1st time ordering last night and have now made it my 'go to' Chinese. Ticked all the boxes.

Lost a regular customer today, food arrived 2 hours 45 minutes after ordering! constantly being told another 30 minutes, another 15 minutes, we even had to contact just eat to intervene. Not good enough!

Well what a joke.ordered food and diet coke delivered Normal.called takeaway after being told by driver not my prob mate got other deliveries to sort.called 830 and to say got more sense from a wall was an understatement.was told after waiting 45 mins an no joy that waiting for another order in my area.still nothing then finally 2 hrs later knock on door. I'm here with your drinks no apology nothing. What an absolute joke

forgot half the food and would not offer a refund for the meal they ruined by not delivering it. had to phone them twice .. once to chase order then again to chase the forgotten food. then they still forgot some of the food we ordered. will not be ordering from here again. rubbish service.

No flavour (all dishes)bland, revolting, never, ever, again. We ordered a takeaway (18/11/17): fried rice, chips, crispy beef, noodles, sweet n sour chicken, etc. All dishes had no flavour, wife and children have since been ill. Awful food and it was late arriving!

Was late, lady on the phone lied to us on why it was late. Driver wasnt lost, just over run!

given the takeaway the benefit of the doubt on more than one occasion. tonight an order was placed two hours prior to delivery due time and still arrives over 30 minutes late. not the first time by a long shot. multiple orders on separate occasions have been delivered with the wrong food in that little white bag. starting to lose patience with them now as I can't say I've been close to satisfied with service (whether it be delivery time or orders being wrong) in over six months.

payed for a sweet & sour crispy beef rices & chips in tray! come without rice and chips. so payed £6.10 just for crispy beef

ordered through just eat and it didn't arrive nowhere near the restaurant time stated 1hr 40mins later it actually arrived after 2 phone calls needless to say it was a microwaved meal. ( Not Good At All ) Sorry.

Drinks not delivered with order, ordered chicken in black bean sauce, or in this case chicken in black bean. Little if any sauce. Food lacked flavour.

Not very good. Sweet and sour sauce bright red and just a taste of vinegar. Rest half thrown out. Wouldn't go back again. Realising it's a waste of hard earned money when I can cook better myself for a fraction of the cost of take aways. Save your money!!!

driver persisted i needed to pay even tho i paid online and showed proof to driver i then found out that this was proboly to distract me so i didnt noticed that half the order was missing untill driver went and then restraunt told me the driver must of eat it

2 hours almost after placing an order I am STILL waiting on my delivery after promises of it being with the delivery driver and only being 10-15 minutes away. Absolutely awful service. This also happened the last time I ordered from here, but gave them the benefit of the doubt as it wasn't common for this restaurant. Certainly won't be ordering from lotus house again as this is becoming common practice. Really disappointed.

Very disappointed and annoyed!!!! The restaurant added 20 minutes to the original delivery time. The new time was 20.55. Phoned the restaurant at 21.10 as there was no sign of my order to be informed it was still in the restaurant but would be leaving soon. Phoned again at 21.25 to be told the order was leaving with the driver. Still no order has arrived!!!!!

Over cooked food,, some of the food items were wrong won't be ordering from there again

Chips awful refry of yesterday's had to throw them out. Rice and chow mein nice but main dishes and accompanying sauces very watery. Will not order again.

Ordered the food at 18:20, I was told the food would be delivered at 19:10, the website showed the food had been delivered at 19:20, currently still waiting at 20:03.

Delivered 30 minutes early, food was delicious. all in all fantastic. would highly recommend.

Not worthy of a 1 star. Ordered food at 8PM, at roughly 9:30 we called to see where the order was, we were told it would be delivered within 30 minutes. After waiting another 45 minutes, we tried calling, but it went directly to voicemail. 160 phone call attempts later, and 3 hours of waiting later, Just Eat refunded us the money. We still haven't heard a word from the restaurant, but I will never order from here again, and I will make it my duty to prevent people from having the same experience. 0/10 wouldn't order again.

Order accepted 7:20pm Due for delivery at 8:40pm Called at 8:50pm told order was on its way At 9:30pm delivery was still missing, phone line busy 9:40pm called to place order for collection, was told order was ready, not bad since I had just placed the collection order. 9:55pm pick up my order 10:10pm arrive home check to leave review, I've been charged the delivery cost for picking up my order. The worst part is had I just been told on the phone that my order would be delayed then fair enough but I was lied too the overcharged. Go elsewhere for your takeaway this shop is terrible.
