Los Vinos in Trafford

I ate at La Torre with a friend about 6 months ago (I originally posted this review then against the wrong tapas & have only just realised when looking uo the restaurant to visit again) and we both really enjoyed our dishes. I had the squid, pork belly and garlic prawns and they were all very tasty. It was a Monday night so the restaurant was incredibly quiet, the service was perfect - the right level of attention so we had everything we needed whilst leaving us free to get on with catching up. I definitely want to eat here again.

This was lovely. I never usually like Spanish food but I was surprised to be demolishing a Seafood Paella as well as some gorgeous creamy chicken and chorizo. The waiting staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was somewhat okay, could have used more of a bustling atmosphere. Other than that lovely place well worth a visit.

Been 4/5 times lunches always very good today was awful my son severd his lunch before me he had almost finished he had meatballs said they were nice but only warm I had Tortilla but it’ was. As the gentleman told me Turkish style burnt not good nothing like previous times my son doesn’t want to ho again

Visited for the first time yesterday, waited for a long time before taking our drinks order. Then we waited for the longest time to give our food order. The people who had just sat down at the next table had their order taken before us and then I actually had to catch the waiters attention, so finally ordered about an hour after we arrived. The food was average, only three pieces of everything, so difficult to divide between 4. Ordered cocktails which just tasted like soft drinks, couldn't taste the alcohol! Other than that it was an OK experience. Staff friendly enough when they did actually speak to us.

First time but will defo be back.

Food was pretty underwhelming, pork belly was dry, garlic bread was dissapointing for the price, chorizo and spinach parcels were good, but they are not made in house, only fried. Rest of our dishes were mild. Besides this, staff were nice and restaurant looks good.

Food was ok, but a bit lacking in flavour or flair. The bread basket seemed to be half yesterday's crusts toasted up a bit. Olives were just standard, cheap supermarket fare. Chicken and chorizo was hot not bland chicken and cheap chorizo that had been warmed through, but wasn't exactly sizzling with flavour. The Spanish omelette was hot and tasty, but wasn't very Spanish. Garlic mushrooms were super tasty though, the glass of tempranillo was very good, and the service was friendly and efficient. A shame really, it feels like with a little more attention to detail it could be great food.

Very good. I got the sea bass and it was amazing. Price was good.

We went for a late lunch,the lunch menu is on until 5pm. We had 2 items each between the 3 of us. Great food lovely service and the best sangria I've had in years

been a couple of times, always lovely food, served in a timely manner. Attentive staff who are polite and efficient. Very reasonably priced. Cannot flaw the food or drinks.

It was okay. Just, okay. Nice decor. Staff nice. Food bland. No flavour. Pleasant. I wouldn't return.

Had a great night here fantastic food great service first class thankyou 👍I have been since and I left a £15 tip for the girl that served us but I did over here one of the staff saying it's a shame we don't get to keep the tips and if that is the case it's disgusting to take the servers tips so won't be leaving a tip again until this is rectified!!!!

Great variety of choice, both GF and the usual, great quality food with good size portions for Tapas. Staff are attentive and informative,Eddie is a top man, all round a really nice restaurant!

If you like amazing food and value for money, then don’t go here. I’ve visited Los Vinos twice and both times have been the same: an awkward, empty atmosphere; half frozen potatoes (which, I believe, were microwaved, given that they were served very, very quickly); high prices; cheap tasting meatballs; and cold temperatures. The staff were very friendly, though, and I thank them for their kindness. However, I won’t be coming back, which is a shame.

Avoid. Staff were friendly though lingered around a little too much. The food was immensely overpriced and mediocre. Atmosphere was completely dead unless you go out really late on a Saturday night. Also, no hygiene rating is visibly displayed in the window of the restaurant (which, I believe, is legally required). Lots of work needed for this place to last. Honestly, reading some of the positive reviews on here gave me a shock…

Really enjoyed all the dishes, the chorizo in red wine was to die for! The lamb piella was really tasty. Really reasonable prices.The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable.

Fabulous night for my sister's birthday. Had my Mum there and nieces and everyone loved the food and we got treated so well by the staff. The venue was lovely and clean with a real Spanish feel.

Son in laws birthday …… my first time here & i was a bit anxious as I have food allergies to dairy & gluten……. I told them when we were looking to order they bought me a comprehensive allergy list so I knew exactly what was in everything. They took time to explain it to me & made sure I had ordered safely …… when the food arrived it was lovely, no repercussions afterwards either showing they had made my food cautiously. Thank you I will be returning 😊

Food was excellent and the staff lovely Had 2 tapas dishes and shared a main We went early evening which has an offer on. No room for dessert as was full but I'm sure they would be nice to. Nice decor would definitely recommend and would love to go back. There is also a cocktail bar next door.

Went on a Sunday night food was ok I’m not a big fan of tapas anyway but £6.50 for the most uninspiring tiny garlic bread with cheese I’ve ever seen four tiny slices of baguette about the size of a fifty pence piece.The rest of the food was slightly overpriced too eight tapas plates bread and four drinks came to £100 was in and out in just over an hour felt a bit robbed.

Very Poor! Knew it wasn’t going to an authentic Spanish tapas experience when the waitress greeted us with a Maturo Meathouse T-shirt on… food was overpriced and disappointing. It arrived very quickly, almost could be classed as fast food, microwaves obviously helped! First and last visit. Much nicer places locally.

First time and will be back. Cannot fault a single dish, all piping hot and very tasty. Amongst others we had the sea bass, lamb, Patatas Bravas, meat balls and Padron peppers (my favourite). Couldn't finish it all so have the Paella for tea tonight, the waiter knows what a Doggy bag is now :-) Well done team, keep up the good work.

Went for the first time tonight after promising to go for sometime. Was not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. The ribs fell off the bone, the chorizo was really tasty and the feta salad was great. And the service was brilliant. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes🤩

1st time for me to be having tapas, what can I say? Amazing!!! Very impressed, left very full. Amazing staff also, they look after you so well and help as mush as they can with fussy people (myself) will definitely be returning 😀 😊

Great tapas, busy restaurant, but that made us feel rushed. We were in less that 1.30hrs from 6.30pm (pre booked) and literally were pushed out as soon as our food was finished, as a lady in a wheelchair was waiting for our table, the only one that could accommodate her. For 6 of us, spending quite a lot, this made us feel somewhat uncared for, I feel that has we not been all femail, we wouldn't have been rushed out as fast. I appreciate restaurants need to do double sittings in this challenging market but we probably won't go back for a while, so it's false economy! It was a shame as the food was really good and the portions were great too.

Lovely quiet restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic and so tasty. Service was quick and staff were very polite. Ordered Patatas braves with mozzarella Langostinos Al ajillo Albondigas Pollo cremoso Alitas de pollo Cocktails were good too.

Amazing service from the whole staff. Couldn't do enough for us. My only note would be that I ordered Gambas Pil Pil expecting to get prawns sizzling in garlic and chilli oil as I enjoy in Spain. They actually come in a thick sauce, though still extremely tasty, so I can't mark the star rating down. Will definitely go again!

Very nice space, sevice was spot on, Firat was super friendly and looked after us. Portions were generous for a Tapas bar, I think we ordered one plate too many for us as we went for a decent lunch and was just ever so slightly too much for us. (Not complaining, just goes to show how good the portions were as I'm a big eater) Seafood Paella, Pork Cubes, Potato Bravas with cheese, Bruschetta, Bread basket, Mixed Olives and the Meatballs were all very tasty. Definitely going again.

Thought we would try out this new restaurant in Urmston based on the recent reviews but sadly it did not live up to our expectations. We had booked for 8pm however no acknowledgement upon our arrival and table wasn’t ready for a good 15 minutes...

Had the worst food ever they state on the door to let the staff know for any intolerances.. I told them and they ignored me have been quite poorly.. ordered the sea bass it stunk.. the fish was off.. after 20 minutes of leaving the so called restaurant I had severe stomach pains and had to rush to the loo.. sorry tmi.. this restaurant is awful the food is disgusting the only good thing I can say is that the staff are really nice.. never again avoid at all costs..

Feta parcel, chili prawns, ribs 🤢, meatballs and lamb stew All were very poor but the ribs and lamb stew were particularly tough and fatty. I wouldn't go again if I was offered it free!

Fabulous food - the chicken in the smoked cheese creamy sauce and the chorizo are amazing. Everything was freshly cooked to order and the staff were friendly, welcoming & attentive, especially Kemmi. Definitely recommended.

Los Vinos is a fantastic restaurant, we ordered a wide variety of dishes which were served very quickly & every dish was impeccable. Kemmi (aka Kibbles) our waitress had a fantastic table manner, great sense of humour as well as being extremely polite & courteous. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Absolutely amazing evening! Great food and even better service, Kemmi was an absolute star throughout the night! Will be coming back (and soon!) Lovely atmosphere, great music, and were able to talk without being drowned out. Lovely all round!

The Food was cold .each dish came out so slowly by the time we got our last dish they had cleared the table we didnt even have a knife and fork to eat it with. It was to late anyway. The Spanish tortilla tasted like scrambled eggs . Awful attitude to go with it . Never again

My daughter myself and 3 children visited tonight. The electricity went down in the kitchen so there was bit of a panic amongst staff. We patiently waited and were looked after with drinks and nibbles. The staff could not have done more bless them. Eventually problem resolved, fabulous food as always. Great job guys, thank you so much we had a fab evening.

About as Spanish as fish and chips. Food average to poor, much of it inexplicably smothered in a bbq sauce. 2 insipid paellas clearly out of a microwave with the lemon wedges still boiling to the touch. First and last time here for me.

Great food and wine and fabulous service

I don't like giving bad reviews and would generally avoid them but honestly, what can I say - we spent £60 on like warm wine, some questionable food, some of which was still frozen in the middle and had to be sent back only to return as a smaller portion and it sums up what I expected. Sadly. Reckon if someone in the kitchen simply googled "prawns pil pil" it'd at least point the chef in a cohesive direction.

Saturday evening 8:30pm The restaurant was lively closely packed in . Table for 2 Would possibly be better in the week . Service was slow but great when attended. Drinks came 10 mins after my partner's and had to ask twice for water . Was not offered a further drink. Bread basket did not come untill 3rd dish of 7 Gambas pil pil was not the the correct sauce to the menu. Food however was nice overall.

I visited Los Vinos recently, hoping to enjoy some quality Spanish food, especially considering the high prices. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. Firstly, they charged extra for alioli on my patatas bravas, which was quite frustrating. The meatballs were truly tasteless – no flavor whatsoever. The paella was another disappointment; it was extremely dry and seemed like it had been sitting there for hours. There were a couple of good moments, though. The pork belly was delicious, and the prawns were cooked just right. However, the food arrived too quickly – all at once, which isn't ideal for tapas, where you're supposed to enjoy a couple of dishes at a time. I thought the paella would come later? We were in and out in less than an hour. The servers were pleasant and friendly, which was a plus. But the coffee was quite weak, adding to the overall disappointment. After paying nearly £80, I left feeling quite dissatisfied. In summary, Los Vinos was a disappointing experience. A few good dishes and friendly service couldn't make up for the extra charges, bland food, and rushed service. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an authentic Spanish meal.

We'd wanted to eat here since the place opened, and we booked in advance because we knew it was popular. The staff were all very efficient and took our orders quickly, and the food was delivered in an equally speedy fashion, which gave the impression that much was pre-prepared, warmed up, and sent on its way, and gave a rushed feel to the whole meal. Empty dishes were quickly cleared away, giving us more room. The restaurant itself was nicely furnished, although tables are very close together, giving something of a canteen feeling. The food was enjoyable if unremarkable. Nothing really stood out, or was particularly tasty or memorable, but at the same time nothing was wrong with the meal - it was just fine. The patatas bravas for example looked decent but didn't have any hint of spiciness, and the bruschetta was on soft bread, not toasted as the menu stated, but the topping was pleasant enough. All told we both felt that the meal was fine - not bad, not great, just fine - and felt very rushed due to the speed with which the food was prepared and served.

Excellent food, great value and staff very attentive and on hand all the time.
