We have been customers for over twenty-five years, and have never had anything less than excellent food and friendly service. Whether a large quantity to feed twelve of us, or, as tonight, my daughter buying two dishes for a light evening meal, the food is available quickly, and beautifully prepared. Particular treats are shredded beef with chilli, kung po dishes, chicken with cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce, prawn toast and duck pancakes.

Should have listened to the previous review and avoided this Chinese. My sister and I collected a Chinese for my fathers birthday. The food was tasteless, the ribs were burnt and very dry, we didnt even attempt to try the chicken in ginger with spring onions. So very disappointed indeed.

Loon tin has been my favourite takeaway for decades. Lovely food and customer service. Would highly recommend

Chicken was great proper chicken😋it’s been a long time to have a chinese that uses real chicken pieces not the processed chicken most chineses use. Absolutely lovely

Always our favourite chinese as a family when living in Langley, since growing up and moving on to build my own family we still return and make the journey to the best chinese i have ever experienced! Never a bad meal, friendly staff that always remember who we are! Throughly recommend you try!!

Ordered a takeaway when in the area as had previously used it some time back and was ok however this time the meals were very dry. One of our group raised this with the lady who works there however her response was dismissive. Wouldn't recommend.

Quick and friendly service, good price, good food, big menu, ample portions. Parking can be tricky, as its in a residential area.

In my local area so quite handy. Food is good and generally served quickly. Not the cheapest, however, but I'd certainly recommend.

Good Chinese food at reasonable prices. The non veg selection is good although the vegetarian options can be limited. They do struggle if you want to change the menu, but the portions are generous.

Duck pancakes were good, but the other meals weren't as good as I remember, definitely changed over the years!

La mujer en el mostrador de recepción era controlar el reloj cuando le preguntamos si estaba abierto que estaba en 5. 05:00 ella repentinamente dijo que sí! ! Su actitud no fue llamado para "no te apetece actitud", muy caro para lo que pedimos. La comida era horrible y el arroz era bastante pesado. Sin duda no sería volver y definitivamente no recomendaríamuy pobre;

By far the best Chinese food in the local area. With 2 menus, you'll be spoilt for choice. The only downside is that they don't deliver.

Ordered on phone, friendly staff and was ready to collect, but the food was not for me, had crispy chili beef, sweet n sour chicken balls, special fried rice, chicken chow main, the chilli beef had a flavour like tomato sauce no heat nothing, sweet n sour sauce was like tomato ketchup, well over priced, the only tasty thing was prawn crackers but they were £1.90. We ordered some vegetarian dishes they were in good portion but hardly any spice or great taste.Prices were reasonable and service was quick but no alteration in dishes can be arranged like add some spice or ingredient.

Sólo fuimos aquí como nuestro chino habitual estaba cerrado. . La comida estaba bien de precio y el personal muy acogedor.pero la comida no tenía sabor ... hasta el punto de que nos celebró más de distancia.i sin duda no volveremos

The pleasant staff and price is very good. Okay, so that is the good news. The bad news is the actual quality of the food, which is very poor. We ordered Chicken with green peppers and black bean sauce. It had very little chicken, and was 80% bean sprouts. We ordered Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef, and we got polystyrene strips of nothingness. The colour was red but this was the only way we could tell it was the beef dish. We ordered Chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce. We got fried batter balls with a strange sauce not unlike ketchup. The reason we visited? Our usual local takeaway is shut for refurbishment so we took a chance and drove and extra 15 miles to get this. I picked up a menu from this place in case we needed to use it again. Safe to say, this menu will not be required in future.

You will not be disappointed, this is the very best Chinese Take Away ever, I have been going there for 23 years and they are amazing and reasonable. If you want a takeaway on a Friday or Saturday plan ahead and call the order through, otherwise you will be waiting for ages while others collect their orders.Everything is cooked fresh and is delicious.Love their Crispy Duck and pancakes, their King Prawn fried rice, and the Crispy Chilli Beef, the list goes on and on - you cannot go wrong with whatever you order. We have been having take aways here for about 10 years. Great food and service every time.We have never had a bad meal and our order is always correct, cooked fresh and quickly.I would highly recommend it.

So being quite new to the area we thought we'd try this chinese takeaway - big mistake!! ALL of the staff is RUDE and don't have a clue about "service with a smile". The woman especially is a rude little so and so with an attitude worse than the terrible food. We ordered a chicken chow mein and a mixed meat chowmein with sesame prawn toast - firstly the mixed meat had practically no meat it in and both chowmein portions were tiny, not even kids meal. We didn't even bother with the prawn toast. We phoned and complained and were told we could get our money back, quite rightly!! So we took the food back and weren't even given a chance to explain what was wrong, instead we were given a refund in a rush so we would just leave - fine by us! We definitely won't be going back EVER! And won't recommend this to anyone who fancies a nice dinner.

I always thought the Chinese around the corner was the best in Langley until I discovered Loon Tin, after the normal was shut for their annual holiday.The food at this Chinese is much more fresh, taster and always served hot. Look no where else this is the best!

Can the woman on the desk be anymore miserable. I don't think so... Food however is Ok but when asking whether she could make my meal extra hot, she said she couldn't. I wouldn't say that it's a poor Chinese meal but just think I've tasted a lot better but it's still probably the better one on the area.

Been going to this place for years and all I can say it is that it is the best chinese in town!Food is always top notch and the service is quick. The fact that they have not updated the decor in a good 20 years is a true sign...why do they need to update the decor to get customers when people keep coming back when its just the way it is. If you are in the area pop by you will not be disappointed.

10/10 would eat.This is our local Chinese takeaway, and though we have tried many others both in and out of Langley, Loon Tin is definitely the best!The food is always incredible and there are so many options that there are two menus! Ordinarily more options means poorer quality of each dish but not from this place.

I had booked into the Travelodge Langley for 1 night as I had an early meeting near the airport. I was intending to have a quick meal in the adjacent Toby Carvery but found this was closed for a refit on my arrival. I used Google maps to find the nearest Chinese takeaway and found it was the Loon Tin.Went along and ordered my usual, chicken chow mein and mushroom foo young which I can honestly say we're the best I have ever had from a takeaway. It wasn't until I was eating the meal back at the hotel that I checked on Trip Advisor and found that the majority of other reviews were also very positive. Couldn't agree more and a 5 score on the Food Hygiene ratings, doesn't get any better than that.

I've been going here for over 30 years. I have tried lots of other chinese takeaways around the UK and Europe but none can compare with 'Shirleys' as we call it. Always a warm welcome when I walk in to pick up my food and never disappointed when I get home and eat it - always hot and very very tasty. I love it, as do my family. Mmmm my mouth is watering just writing this review!

I would recommend the takeaway to anybody. I have been going here for years and have never had a problem or disliked the food. The crispy duck is always cooked to perfection and so is the crispy shredded beef.Try them and you will be hooked.

Moved into the area recently and thought we would try this place out after reading tripadvisor reviews. The food was bland, no flavour and very dry. Crispy seaweed very greasy. Sweet and sour chicken very dry no sauce at all. The soup bit water with noodles floating around. Won't be visiting this place again!!

Not sure about the boast of 'best Chinese in the Country' but it certainly is good. Since moving to the area around 10 years ago we have probably tried over a dozen Chinese takeaways but Loon Tin has been the best overall by far. Good hot food and always friendly. Usually the lady is serving so am surprised by another reviewer that they had a man behind the counter. Good quality food at decent prices. Not the cheapest but you never seem to get a bad meal. Only the smallest of gripes is that the prawn crackers are not the best but overall you will have to work hard to find better in the area. JR.

Consistently great food at reasonable prices. Always busy over the weekend yet still never have to wait too long for food. I know of people who travel a fair way to pick up a loon tin.

would love to give this more but the man that was at the counter was not customer friendly ,what an attitude ,well i think he had one as he only snapped to take our order after sighing at us for taking to long to choose ,which cant of been 4 min tops,told us the amount and that was the end of our brief conversation .when our order came out he lifted it up and shook it at us ,we thanked him and left very rude.oh by the way food was adaquate we were hungry .

We always use this Chinese not only because it is round the corner but the food is lovely! It's the only one we use and have done forever! You can order over the phone and the good is ready in about 10 mins and is good quality

Consistently good food. Can pay by credit card. We always phone order through to save waiting but there are plenty of papers and things to read if waiting.
