It was my first time here, but my daughter has been several times before. I opted for the Lolfa Breakfast, and my daughter had the most fluffiest pancakes with bacon, maple syrup,.strawberries and blueberries. For drinks, I had the best tasting I jave ever tasted in the whole wide world, starbucks and costa have so much to learn about the perfect coffee (I have always been a starbucks girl) my daughter had a iced latte. Service was amazing and the atmosphere just as good. I will definitely be back.

Lovely place. Disappointing visit today. Ordered 2 breakfast and 2 lattes. Over £30, didn't mind paying as it is a nice place. Lattes came to the table after a 20 min wait. Thought okay they're busy, we then had to wait another 40 minutes for the breakfasts. Could hear the kitchen call for service 3 times, our food was held under the heat lamp for sometime. When we finally had it, there was no beans or butter for toast and the bacon was rock hard. I could hear another customer complaining about the bacon too. We managed to get through the bacon by snapping it as you couldnt get a knife though it. We ate and left, thirsty as we refused to buy another coffee or dink and wait any longer. All in all a very disappointing visit.

Lovely place to go for a light bite, a coffee / tea and cake or a brunch. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and you can even take your dog with you as they are pet friendly. Ample parking directly outside and they are even open on a Sunday. The place is always busy but ample seating is available both inside and outside.

We took our little grandson to the soft play area . I was alarmed to see that given it is a play centre primarily for under 5 year olds they have square tables with sharp edges and no protection on the corners , my little grandson banged his head. I would recommend round tables or covers(ikea) to protect the sharp edges of the tables please , safety should be a priority in this environment

Lovely tasting breakfast. Unfortunately, it seemed to be left under the heatlamp too long before being served. This meant the outside of the sausage, hash brown, etc. was hard. I would return, though, in the future.

A bit of a miss, this time, I'm afraid. I had to ask where our food was after waiting for over 45 minutes. The children's sandwich boxes arrived 10 minutes later and the steak ciabatta 10 minutes after that, unfortunately the rare steak was cold on the middle so it had to be sent back; 10 minutes later again it came back and this time it was very good. Better luck next time, I hope.

Came here today with my daughter and grandson to the play area that is joined on to the Lolfa. Lovely little play area but what let it down for us was the food and service. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which consisted of thick cut bacon, sausage, fried egg and halloumi. I asked for the sandwich without egg and halloumi and what I received for £8.70 was shocking. Thin stale bread 1 sausage cut up in to 4 and the thinnest bacon rasher cut in half. Service was very slow. Overall would not recommend the food here at all, prices are ridiculous for what you actually receive. There was no cutlery or napkins on any of the tables. Also ordered a children’s box, the banana in there was brown and mushy and the crisps were greasy and not really suited to a child. Very disappointed and will not be eating here again.

This morning I bought a full English breakfast to takeaway, the egg tasted sour and was likely off. The sausage was also pink all the way through. The breakfast was consumed immediately after ordering but while we were driving home. This breakfast was charged at £11.50. At that price it HAS to be a really good breakfast to justify the cost and it was poor at best, nothing special about it. I also bought a latte which was only filled 3/4 of the way up. Disappointing

Popped in for a coffee and a light lunch. The flat white was very nicely presented but was too hot, spoiling the flavour of the coffee beans. The crumpet stack with egg and bacon had overpowering onions added and the Hollandaise sauce was a little too liberally applied for my taste. At £12 this was a little in the pricey side but the place was packed at 12:30pm and the staff busy but very pleasant. Reasonable amount of parking outside but not enough for busy lunchtimes.

Popped in to see if they did takeaways which they do. Ordered the chorizo and halloumi hash and Victoria sponge. Took an awful long time to prepare even though cafe wasn't overly busy for lunchtime. Front of house guy did explain 5 mins before it arrived that they had to redo it for some reason. He was ok but needs to go to charm school to work in customer service. As regards the food it was very hit and miss. The poached egg on it was almost very good, but part of the white wasn't cooked properly, a pet hate. The rest was a collection of diced 'bits', a little lost in the box, and were so overcooked it was difficult to tell what was what. Not burnt, nice and crispy and strangely tasty but far from accomplished cooking. The cake was delicious but a REALLY mean portion for £3.90 -I know costs have increased a lot and I understand places need to make a profit, but to charge a lot AND give tight portions is not good business. £9 for the main dish which barely filled 1/3 of the box was also taking the micky a bit. Not worth another visit I'm afraid.

Called in as we were passing. The cafe itself is of industrial furniture and decor and has a quite nice ambience however i suggest the owners get some sun shade for the windows as the sun was directly in our eyes and made sitting on the table very uncomfortable. We ordered poached eggs on toast and when it arrived looked amazing but on cutting into the eggs the yolks were well done and hard. Quite frankly that's hard boiled eggs on toast. Very disappointed. It wasn't cheap either. Not sure about the cups for the coffee as they were plastic with no handles. Oh and they don't take cash which is quite inconvenient as the wife now knows i sneaked out for brekky with my P.A. I don't think i will rush back.

After dropping off our dog to Teilo vets we fancied a breakfast and was recommended Lolfa. As you enter you are greeted with wooden walls and tables set in a modern feel cafe. The sun was really beaming in and you couldn't really find a table for 3 in the shaded part so although the open feel looks good, with the low autumn sun it was just too bright and uncomfortable. Upon looking at the menu I thought it was quite expensive especially for an industrial park cafe. £10 for breakfast which included 1 bacon/sausage/poached egg (no choice option) beans, rustic hash brown and cherry tomatoes served with white toast (again no options of other breads). We also ordered for my daughter, 1 sausage, beans on toast, 2 lattes and 1 hot chocolate which came to £35. I'm just glad I didn't have my teenage son with me too. The latte tasted great but came out so hot that it burnt my tongue. However the breakfast was tasty but you can get tasty breakfasts elsewhere at a fraction of the cost that was charged. Would I return? Unfortunately not.

Our first visit since a change of name. The heat of past weeks had lifted, a light drizzle swurled. Easy parking on the outskirts of Llandeilo. A pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. The ticket fiasco was weighing heavily upon me and for the first time I looked forward to next year's tour with trepidation. In light if this I ordered the big breakfast. It was nice enough, if a little sparse. I know times are tough, but for a tenner I'd expect more than a single, slightly overcooked mushroom. The single sausage was nice, as was the single slice of bacon. Baked beans served in a small dish look neat, but always leave me wondering. The toast was pleasant but uninspiring, no doubt a friend of my slightly overcooked poached egg. The highlight were the oh so sweet tomatoes. Nice, but too little for too much. Would I return, probably not as there are equally nice, or dare I say nicer, places to be found, where your hard earned dollar goes further.

I think this restaurant is very good on both quality and value. Just one gripe. They should reveal on the menu more accurately what is in a dish. I went with friends and I had the "wild" mushrooms on toast. I can live with unusual cultivated mushrooms being called wild. What really annoyed me was the dredging of truffle oil over the mushrooms. Fortunately, I was able to pass half my mushrooms to a friend. If truffle oil was stated on the menu, I could have asked for it not to be used. Complaining at the time would have been more of an annoyance than grinning and bearing it.

While staying for a short period in the area, we looked on line for a nice restaurant and a his seemed to fit the bill. We were very pleased with our visit. The reception was friendly and not at all pretentious. It is not a large place, perhaps no more than 30 covers and although we made reservations, it was fairly quiet mid-week. Our starter was hummus but strangely we had to order accompaniments separately. Not particularly substantial but we enjoyed our main courses of chicken and salmon. Both well prepared and presented. There is is a choice of generous side dishes which made for a substantial meal. Prices are very reasonable.

Not suitable for gluten free options despite menu description. We stayed locally and this restaurant had good reviews and described having gluten-free options available which was cinic red when we phoned to book a a table. The reality however was very different. Unless I wanted a vegan red Thai curry there were no options for me on the menu. The items described as gluten free in the menu weren't available and we were told the menu was out of date. Very disappointing and not suitable for anyone wanting gluten free options.
