Great shop, deli and cafe. Staff are so helpful. Food and coffee very good. The cafe is beautifully enhanced with a lovely warm log fire.

Great menu and specials selection. Opted for the open roast beef sandwich and a nettle tea. Very tasty. Nice selection of local produce and efficient and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

The Limetree Restaurant

28/02/2020: We loved it, the food was excellent and the setting was lovely. The restaurant is very small probably only about 16 to 20 covers but the building, location and staff couldn’t be faulted. Whilst they didn’t have a kids menu (not surprising given the style of restaurant) they were very accommodating helping us adjust the menu to facilitate our Uber fussy 9 year old!

The Steam Packet Inn

22/02/2020: A lovely venue on the quay at the isle of Whithorn - on a summers day this really is pleasant on the outside furniture.Specials from local farms and other suppliers.Well worth a visit - the 3 kingdoms brewery run by Alistair always has a varied offering for your CAMRA loversA great atmosphere all year round - well worth the visit if you are in the area
22/02/2020: We went to the Isle of Whithorn during the storms. It was windy and the properties were protected. Against this background we went to the Steam Packet and were a little surprised to see it buzzing. Our host was jovial and very helpful. The atmosphere was excellent - with families of all ages in. The food was very good and the menu pretty broad. The drinks list was very acceptable. This is a jewel in the crown of a beautiful part of the world and, again, all of the local people are so warm and friendly. A very positive experience and one that we will repeat the next time we're in the area.
