Such tasty food! A pleasant surprise in Llandudno. Well recommended!

Food was very nice we had a take out fresh stir fry prawn noodles .food was very tasty but very small portion for the price I would not recommend as way too expensive for what we had £17.75 for one little tub of noodles 😳 and then to add to the insult a charge for using your card to pay 🙄😳

So Yummy!!! Fast polite service, large portions and fantastic taste. Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying the soup dishes here seem to be the thing to have. I got the thing I always have in a Vietnamese which is a pork Bún and it wasn't very good. The pork was a weird orange colour and for a restaurant claiming to be authentic my dish had salad in it that you would not find in Vietnam. My second issue here was the service. The waitress seemed to be waiting for you to finish your starter before the main was brought even though I had requested both my starter and main be brought at the same time. I like to eat the spring rolls I ordered with the Bún so I kept them aside until the main arrived which it never did so I was forced to eat them just so it would trigger the delivery of my main. Very annoying. The biggest issue I have with this restaurant is the insistence that people pay in cash. There are signs on the door, on the walls and it's even mentioned by staff when you try to pay by card. Is there an incentive to do this? A discount for paying in cash perhaps? No. It's an inconvenience and for a town in North Wales the prices here were shockingly more expensive than London so I found it rude that this was reiterated so much. I'm sure there is a legit reason for requesting this other than avoiding card fees (maybe not) but I found this to be a huge turn off and for that reason alone I would not visit here again.

Lovely place with lovely staff. Food was full of flavour and is certainly somewhere we would return to. Everyone on our table of eight loved the food and certainly the service.

This is an amazing find! Love all the hanging plants, guitars on the walls and shells in the tables but make no mistake this place is about the food! I had the pork stew and believe it’s the best thing I’ve eaten in years! Not to be missed (if you can get a table!) 😊

Pho was delicious, starters were very poor, microvaved?! We were very aware that the dumplings had been microwaved, we asked about this and we're told it was normal to microwave? I really don't think it is standard/ normal to microwave something that should be steamed? It feels like a bit of a half hearted attempt to bring food food to Llandudno

My British boyfriend loved his food when we ate at this restaurant. I loved it being an asian who has been to Vietnam. They really managed to make authentic vietnamese food!

Lovely kind caring staff. Food excellent....lemon roulade with raspberry coulis, home made, was truly the best I have had. Atmosphere at Merry Moon was beautiful . I did think that the 4 screens were not needed. Plants and other authentic items were great.

A small local place, serving some pretty good food. They did add a 5% charge to our bill for paying by card rather than cash, which I didn't think was legal any more though. Regardless, we'd go back here next time as the food was good, and we'd recommend you try it too.

Delicious food, good service and great atmosphere. So tasty! Looking forward to going again. I had papaya salad (spicy) with prawns and tofu Vietnamese curry and rice. Husband had spring rolls and chicken katsu curry. You will need to book. Recommend

A lovely place to eat, beautiful, piping hot food, well presented; attentive staff, informal atmosphere, attractive decor, extensive menu which also caters for vegetarians and vegans. We will be eating there again soon.

I went there for my 4 year anniversary we had a great time and ordered 3 starters 2 BIG mains and 4 drinks all for only £68 so £34pp ! All the food was amazing, very fresh and lovely and you could tell it was all homemade. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese style salad it was sweet and spicy but really good. The Pho was also amazing, it was comforting and great for a cold rainy day, the meat melts in your mouth and the soup was fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant is a work of art and everyone was chatting and laughing. I hope to go back in the future and try different dishes I also hope to see some traditional Vietnamese Desserts on the menu at some point as I would love to try some. Sadly I didn’t get any photos but it was truly fantastic, Thank you for an amazing night!

Just visited last Sunday. I was looking for a dog friendly place and ended up there by accident. What an happy accident it was! The place is very nice full of plants (real) giving a very welcoming and homely atmosphere. The food is excellent, Vietnamese cuisine is one of my favourite and this ticked all the boxes. We were asked how spicy we would liked our food (nice touch most places do not ask). The staff was really nice, they gave treat to our dog. If I wasn’t living on the other side of Wales I be there more often.

So so so good!!! This was genuinely the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of Vietnam! It was also the best meal I've eaten in Llandudno. Well worth a visit, but be aware it's genuinely authentic Vietnamese food, so go with an empty belly and an open mind and you will be in for a real treat. I genuinely couldn't recommend it more.

Beautiful place, lovely staff and excellent food. Me and my three friends visited and enjoyed all of our dishes. We had never tried vietnamese food before and we were all very impressed. The waitresses were very kind and attentative. We are looking forward to coming back next time and trying something new :) .

Called in here early on a weekday. Was the only one there, hence not a lot of atmosphere. However, the welcome, the service and the food was superb, so will definitely call again at this treasure of a place.

Unpretentious, tasty, fresh and authentic Vietnamese. Good list of options, even for children. Size and quality commensurate with price. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy Vietnamese food.

We visited back in May and found this restaurant by chance. Loved the small cosy atmosphere and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing and would definitely come again when we are near Llandudno.

This is a hidden gem! If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, with friendly staff, then you must go here. We had the stir fry noodles, one chicken, 2 beef, with pancakes, and the food was exquisite 👌 full of flavour with fresh ingredients. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks.

Lovely little restaurant, authentic food and delicate decorations. I accidentally left my leather jacket there when on trip, the owner has kindly offer to post it back to where I live and even willing to cover the cost. I was really impressed with the kindness and professional service shared. Highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the food but also the good vibe and trust it built up.

I have ate in many Vietnamese restaurants and had lots of excellent chef made food. Merry Moon gives there food a home made feel in a family run cafe vibe. A lovely experience way better than the rest of the microwave factory food chain restaurants otherwise available. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food. Papaya salad was spicy, but highly aromatic, as well as the non spicy vietnamese curry.

Love the interior decorations: green plants, sea shells and charismatic guitars on the wall. We ordered a papaya salad, pork stew, spring rolls and a classic rice noodle soup. Every dish is so flavourful, tastes like they all have got a heart. It’s a surprise for me to come cross such a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant here in Llandudno. Definitely recommend ♥️

Highly recommend this place if your looking for somewhere decent to eat. We liked it so much we visited again. They could do with some blinds to block out the sun, as it was far too warm, to note the venue is pretty small but has cute decor and amazing plants.

Top - Notch food experience. We stayed in Llandudno for 3 days and all 3 days we visited Merry moon for dinner. Very friendly staff and so welcoming. Do try their Vietnamese curry, that's the best. Even stir fry noodles and noodles soup were very tasty . For starters, meat ball and prawn dumplings. We will surely visit again.

This is the one restaurant you have to punch in to when you come to Llandudno. It's soup is very Vietnamese or Chinese. The soup is very delicious. bubble milk tea is also very tasty.If you think it's too sweet, you can wait for the ice to melt before drinking.But if you really like it sweet, then it's just rightwhen you get it. My friend said she would invite other friends to try the restaurant again.

Went to the Great Orme tram today and saw this place on the walk there and decided to stop in on the way back. Unexpected find of a lovely Vietnamese restaurant, with relaxing decor and very friendly servers. Food arrived piping hot only minutes after we ordered. Saw someone’s review mention that the brisket pho was too spicy, well yes, it says so on the menu….but I really enjoyed it and it was only maybe mildly spicy and I don’t have excellent heat tolerance. The broth was exquisitely comforting and the brisket was delicately tender. Also had the pork belly spring rolls and wow they were so good. My wife had the Taro bubble tea and she says it’s the best bubble tea she’s had in a while (and she gets bubble tea fairly often from a variety of places in Cardiff). The bill was also very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Expect roughly ~£25pp with drinks, starters and mains.

Чудовий заклад, привітне обслуговування, але я не їм госту їжу тому попросила курячий суп не гострий. Офіціантка принесла суп политий чілі олією, я уточнила, чи ця олія гостра, на що вона відповіла ні це спеції вони не гострі. Але суп був гострий. Не розумію чому офіціантка заперечувала це. Загалом заклад дуже сподобався, як би не історія з супом

After a cold, damp outing to the great orme, nothing hit the spot like the big bowls of authentic pho from this cozy Vietnamese restaurant. The homemade broth and flavors of the pho were superb - just what I needed to warm up. The attentive Nepalese staff aims to please customers. My only suggestion is offering customizable bubble tea. However, this minor detail doesn't detract from the overall enjoyable experience here. With its great food and warm atmosphere created by caring staff, I'll be back to this restaurant where the pho truly left me with a "superb" feeling after a chilly day outside. I recommend it!

Food was absolutely incredible 10/10, so much flavour, everything was fresh and the service from the girls was great. They put the chilli, coriander and lime on a side plate so you can decide how much to put in to your pho which I thought was really good. Also highly recommend the prawn dumplings, so good. Have visited and eaten in at Merry Moon a few times now and have been very happy with the food and service we have received. The food seems authentic and freshly cooked, no artificial sauces or flavourings added. I will definitely be coming back again.

Never eaten Vietnamese food before. This was a lovely experience. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. My first experience of the food was very good. I loved it. It’s small but beautiful. Well worth a visit in my opinion

The food here is Vietnamese. It is quite authentic in my view. It is probably best to study the menu online first. The service was efficient and friendly. The portions were quite large.

Not long opened and brings Vietnamese cuisine to Llandudno. Not many covers as space is small and no sweet course is available yet....DO NOT BE PUT OFF! Food is great, atmosphere is too. I believe there are plans to expand but I recommend you go asap while authenticity still prevails.

We waited for an hour and then served three cold dishes！

Rang up and reserved a table. I turned up with my wife and children, and was met at the door by an Asian young lady who worked there, she straight out said we have no tables available for 4. On being told we have a reservation for 7, she checked the book and didn't find me. I spelt my name out for her convenience before we finally were able to sit. The ambience is good, the seating can be more generous but is restricted by the size of the restaurant. The lady who served us was courteous and prompt with our starters and apologized for forgetting my drink. The starters were good, but I would have preferred slightly bigger portions personally. We decided to call it an early end to our meal. The restaurant has toilets for customers, there was a high chair available for my toddler on request. No space for a pram or pushchair. Reservations recommended.

This lovely place is a taste sensation ! You can tell everything is freshly cooked the flavours are amazing. Great welcoming staff too

The beef pho noodle soup was too spicy hot for me to eat. The waitress asked if everything was ok. I said l could not eat it and asked if it was possible to have one less hot. She said yes and replaced it. Again, l could not eat it. When the bill came, l was charged twice for the same dish. When my husband queried this, the management said l had to pay for both. I had no problem paying for one. This was an expensive meal. I left hungry and upset.

I came here with my wife recently. The staff were very friendly and welcoming unfortunately the food was not as good as the service. We had meatballs & pork cutlets to start, the meatballs were very tasty albeit on the small side but the pork cutlets was like a plain dry breaded pork chop. For main we had house special pho and the chicken katsu curry. The pho was very nice nice well worth it if you like that or a ramen. The Chicken Katsu curry was very tasty but the chicken let it all down altogether it was extremely chewy and on the oily side so much so I couldn't finish it.

Went there earlier today on a date with my Girlfriend, really flavourful food, great service and the place is really nicely decorated too! Perfect! Girlfriend says the bubble tea is the best she's she's ever had! (and she really likes bubble tea!)

My first experience of Vietnamese food but it definitely won't be my last. The Vietnamese meatballs to start had an unexpectedly delicate flavour that I really enjoyed. My Pho Beef Combo Noodle Soup was an absolute taste sensation. The broth was light and clear but exploding with flavour. Aromatic and zesty with lemongrass, lime and a little hit of chilli. The beef brisket and steak were again delicately seasoned so their own meaty flavour stood out in the taste blend. The service was absolutely beautiful and quick. The only thing I'm slightly disappointed about is that they don't appear to have any social media profile or I'd be leaving glowing reviews there as well.

They gave a table for me and two other people nearby. We all tried to get their attention for 30 minutes so that we can order. They just didn't care at all. We all left eventually. I understand that it can be busy. But if they can't serve, they must not seat more people and waste our time.

Absolutely amazing food! This is authentic and flavoursome Vietnamese food and not watered down Pho. The starters were so fresh (their summer rolls and dumpings were insanely good), my taste buds were dancing. AND they're dog friendly! Other restaurants need to take note, we are extremely limited to where we can go here, because most restaurants are "dog-unfriendly". I did not expect to find this positive surprise in Llandudno - definitely going again!
