Sadly this has gone down from last time i went in. Old oil and food looks old and reheated. This used to be a great chippy. Staff work very hard but didnt enjoy it this rime 😣

Went late. 7.30 and they were out of pies and puddings. But the chips were great.

LLL or Triple L has already given a clue as to my opinion. Lovely Lively Lobster Not selling Pepsi Max at first put me off dining in the cafe but the sugar free alternative (bubble gum flavor) was surprisingly tasty just like the food always is.

Not normally a massive chippy fan but their kids portion of fish goujons, chips and mushy pea's was tasty and just enough. £1.99 as well, bargain ;)

Ordered lightly battered cod one portion of chips and mushy peas. All cooked to order and it was delicious and hot. Best outside of Yorkshire for years. Service was excellent too. Will definitely use again.

Terrible customer service. Went in today and ordered 2 fish and a large chips. There wasn't any ready, so I was told it would be 10 minutes. I agreed to wait for my food, and paid. After about 5 minutes, another customer walked in and ordered some chips. The customer was served her chips, and the member of staff then turned to me and said "sorry, there's not enough for your large chips now, you'll have to have a regular chips." Absolutely disgraceful from lazy staff who just wanted to close as soon as possible and have no regard for customers. I will not be coming here again
