Lin’s Chinese & Oriental Takeaway in Rotherham

This was my favourite Chinese and it’s been closed for about a year now but I’ve always wondered if they carried on and went somewhere else does anyone know?

Had a decent chow mien from here. Nothing to shout about, just a middle of the road take away. I would probably use them again.

Had a few take always from here and I have never been disappointed. They have a good menu to choose from and the foods is very good. Service is OK but sometimes delivery can be a long time.

Called here last night on my lunch break in work. Ordered honey chilli chicken but the man didn't understand then he said they don't sell it. I then asked for salted chilli chicken and again they dont sell it. I had to settle for a chicken chow mein and to be honest it was rotten. Worst Chinese I've ever had.

Decided to try somewhere new and saw this posted on Google so gave it a try. Had past it a number of times so knew the location. There is adequate parking in the car park adjacent but it did appear to be busy. The food itself was very hot and very tasty, and cooked to perfection which given the wait I would of hoped it would be, but the wait was no longer than any other Chinese I have tried. Like a few in the area it also sells spirits. Well worth going too if you're in the area

I placed a order and the food was delivered within 30 minutes and arrived very hot. The menu selection is very good and they do various special offers which is excellent in comparison to other takeaways. The quality of food is delicious and without doubt I will be ordering again.

After years of sticking to the same place we thought we would try this! It's really nice, it's red hot when it comes but only downside is you only get free prawn crackers no matter what you spend!when we have had previous places you get spring rolls after a certain amount spent or spare ribs! But would still recommend you try it x

This takeaway has been situated here for many,many years and used to provide a good quality Chinese meal served by friendly staff. I have not been for a few years however gave it a go and was disappointed that standards appear to have fallen. The interior was cold and clearly needs some paint to brighten things up, whilst the girl behind the counter, whilst reasonable at her job, appeared bored and did little to set any atmosphere in the place. The main test however is always the food, and this left us with a poor experience. We had the House special friend rice, which when bought from here previously was succulent and full of different meats including plenty of prawns - not on this occasion however, with prawns being hard to find and the meat proving dry and unappetising. I do not know if the other food provided by Lin's is of this 'quality', but I will not be re-visiting to find out and will take my custom elsewhere.
