Lezz-et Mangal in Lewisham

Booked a 50th birthday dinner here and it was absolutely delicious the restaurant staff was welcoming and the food was excellent I definitely will be coming back and I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone

I finally tried Lezz-et Mangal yesterday evening after passing it so many times. The Lamb Shish with rice I ordered was exceptional. The meat was well cooked, the rice was delicious and the salad - oh my goodness - I literally fell in love with the salad. I don't know what dressing they put on it but it was the best I have tasted in a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will go back again. The staffs are friendly. You feel a great welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.

I’ve been to all of the Turkish places around the area! This is without doubt the best!! Really good value for money and comes straight off the grill with an authentic charcoal taste! I always get the platter for 3 which we share between 2 😍😍 3 times a month I’m here min

The main issue at this place is the service. I ordered the sea bass. It basically consisted of only bones and hardly any meat because the fish was so poorly cut it was destroyed. When I mentioned this the only explanation was that the fish comes like this and nothing they could do anything about. Well, why on earth do you serve the dish then if you know it's not up to standard yourself??? As there was hardly anything to eat on the fish I had to order another dish!! At the end I was not offered any compensation or discount and that says everything about this place. Would not recommend this place and doesn't deserve the rating it has.

Great Turkish food that is wonderfully fresh and very tasty, all prepared and cooked with great skill and love. Service was efficient and the waiter really charming and helpful The sheftali were some of the best we have ever eaten. We’ll definitely be going back again ……soon
