Amazing food, everything is made fresh to order. I always go for the Zatar tyme which is a very good pizza base with a homemade tyme mix. I then order my toppings on top. Prices are actually too low. I feel bad that it is not busy as nobody knows of this place cuz the name of the cafe does not reflect the food they serve !

we pass by this street a lot and had noticed this new place before it opened while they were renovating it. we tried it today for a lunchtime snack, and were very impressed. we had manakish with labneh (a kind of soft cheese) and zataar (thyme and sesame seeds in oil). it’s like a flat bread, and it’s baked in the oven while you wait. we also got a selection of baklava. everything was great. delicious and very reasonably priced. we will definitely be back and hope this business does well.

I've never eaten Manakish before, but it's essentially a Levantine flatbread that's a bit like a pizza, often topped with cheese, meat or thyme instead of a tomato base. The bread is very thin and light, and the toppings are very flavourful. My first taste didn't disappoint; the labneh and za'atar was creamy and tangy, and really moreish. The lamb mince Manakish was really beautifully aromatic and both were freshly and perfectly baked. At £2.50 and £2.75 each, they are an absolute bargain too, and I'm excited to have them in the neighbourhood! At the moment I think it's cash only, but it's worth the trip to the cash machine, I promise. They also do pizza, but I swear, the manakish is so much more interesting (though I've no doubt their pizzas are tasty, too). Thanks, Levant Pies!

Delicious veggie food We stopped in for brunch on a sunny Saturday. I was intrigued by the smashed peas on sourdough, and it was not a disappointment! Deliciously minty with spring onion and a hint of chilli. The halloumi on top was perfect. A good selection of teas and coffees, and other juices etc. A brilliant option for veggie or vegan breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I came back the next day to get some of their fantastic pastries!

Went for afternoon tea with my friend and was certainly not disappointed, the owner of the shop was a lovely friendly person and the sandwiches scones and cakes etc were delicious, we were also given a welcoming soft drink with little exploding fruit bubbles which was a pleasant surprise . I would definitely recommend a visit wherever you live in Glasgow or surrounding areas it’s well worth it. Anything left over you get a box to take home

My first visit during my Glasgow stay. Came here and had a late breakfast consisting of a raisin scone and a pot of tea. Super cozy atmosphere, feels like a local regular cafe. Very nice owner who gave me some tips on other places to visit nearby.

I ordered chai, which tastes nice, a bit too sweet, and tea flavour is not strong enough. Not worth the price. Chiwala is better.
